I like the idea of brain teasers. Is Google cheating? ;) I think it would be cool if you made them obscure enough that Google wouldn't give away the answers.

By the way, I didn't use Google for that. Perhaps you could make it a kind of scavenger hunt in Wikipedia, not like Wikipedia:Scavenger hunt, but where you would have to solve a riddle of sorts. I couldn't decide at first, so I just decided on calling it Brain Teasers, mainly because the questions are poking fun at your brain. Trivia, brain teasers... Whatever you like, call it that. I don't mind, really.... I'll do more original brain teasers in future to live up to the title's expectations... Bugs Bunny's original name

The Bugs Bunny article suggests a possible similarity with Max Hare, but says that actually Bugs Bunny was unnamed until he became Bugs' Bunny (note the apostrophe), and then Bugs Bunny. If you know differently, then the article needs to be updated! KeithD (talk) 07:37, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

Satin Bowerbird bower with blue objects

1 - Satin Bowerbirds (Ptilonorhynchus violaceus) preferentially collect blue objects for courtship display. So they can definitely distinguish blue. Most other birds probably can, but we've no easy way of asking them to let us know! - MPF

1. In medievil Europe, what became known as the "neck verse"?

First verse of Psalms 51: "Have mercy on me...".

2. If a man walks due south for 4 miles & then due north 3 miles, what is the maximum distance he can be from where he started?

Assuming you're measuring approximate distance along the earth's surface, it'll be 7 miles (starting from 4 miles north of the south pole). The straight-line distance through the ground would result from the same path, but is a rather messy calculation I don't feel like doing now.

3. Inosculation is the natural form of what other word?

Innoculation?

4. Who was the father of William the Conquerer?

Robert of Normandy. Royal genealogy is a little too easy :)

5. What is the original type of glogg made from?

Three liquid ingredients, you say. Claret, brandy, and port, maybe?

6. Volcano Island belongs to which country?

I believe (I could be wrong) that there's a place in the Phillipines called "Volcano Island"; I'm sure there are others, however, so this may not be what you're thinking of.

I suggest you just forget about that page as the person you are in dispute has done a lot of work on it and anyone who does that is not likely to listen to your aguments. Also be aware of WP:3RR, not that it helps with some users see Ubeda.

I appreciate the clarification that literature is understood in a broad sense.
