Image copyright problem with Image:Jf17.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Jf17.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:39, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:6PArDiv.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:32, 9 June 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 12:32, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

6th Armoured Division
[edit]Would you please put in page numbers, especially where possible, like Tom Clancy's Battle Ready? Otherwise people would have to search through the whole book (!) Cheers Buckshot06(prof) 09:46, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
No worries, just as long as you cite it. Put the material in, and cite the thing throughly, with page numbers. Then we can see if people like it. I would not add a list of former SF operators - the list would be never ending, and battles would break out over whether people were notable enough for it. Buckshot06(prof) 10:32, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Also, could you do a bare bones list of Pakistani divisions and brigades? I could help a bit. Buckshot06(prof) 10:34, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Voila - add it to User:Buckshot06/List of divisions and brigades of the Pakistan Army - please cite your sources with page numbers, and we'll get this page into mainspace as quickly as possible. Buckshot06(prof) 11:37, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

II Corps
[edit]Please put page numbers in on the II Corps page references (Hist of Pakistani Army etc), or I will have to start removing material which is not properly cited. Regards Buckshot06(prof) 21:46, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks Sparten. Would you please add page numbers to 6th Armoured Division (Pakistan) also? Buckshot06(prof) 20:12, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Pakistani Order of Battle in FATA, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Corvus cornixtalk 22:57, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Page move to Habitual Offender Law
[edit]Hi Sparten, I explained my opposition to this move on the article's talk page. I think it would have been better to first use Wikipedia:Requested moves so we could have discussed it. Previously, the proposal to move the page to Habitual Offender Law was not agreed on: Talk:Habitual_Offender_Law#Requested move. However, I think you should use what you wrote to create a new article called "Habitual Offender Law." I don't want to take credit for your work so I'm not going to do it myself. In the meantime, I'm going to move the page back and revert it to the way it was. I really do think your contributions were useful, I just think they need to go on a new article, and that such a massive change to the subject of an article needs to be discussed first. --Ships at a Distance (talk) 05:32, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Everybody Draw Mohammed Day, you may be blocked from editing. [1] - this edit removed sourced info and made unsourced changes, without using any edit summary to explain why. This is vandalism. Please do not do this again. -- Cirt (talk) 21:12, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Argentina-Germany rivalry article deemed for deletion
[edit]I like it but there's few references and the mods are about to delete it. Here, though User:Sparten/Argentina-Germany football rivalry. It's a sandbox for the article that the mods won't delete because it's not in the main database. Hitmonchan (talk) 18:39, 10 July 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Article title
[edit]You created the article XII Corps (Pakistan) in 2008. From my understanding, this title seems unrecognized as it is commonly known as the Balochistan Corps Command. Could you kindly refer to a source to verify whether it should be called XII Corps or Balochistan Corps Command? Please ping me. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 14:49, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
