[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, wikis, personal websites, and websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight. These sources may express views that are widely acknowledged as pushing a particular point-of-view, sometimes even extremist, being promotional in nature, or relying heavily on rumors and personal opinions. One of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 19:24, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
Bludgeoning
[edit]Hi Sovmeeya. You are bludgeoning the discussion at WT:V#Self-published sources for statements that ascribe the information to the publisher, as measure by your high number of comments and repeated arguments. Please step back and allow consensus to develop (or not), with less frequent input from you. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 15:23, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
My comments at Wikipedia talk:Verifiability were within reason, and certainly does not amount to "bludgeoning" Sovmeeya (talk) 16:59, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Since you see nothing wrong with your comments, I see no need to end the block early. 331dot (talk) 19:03, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Wikipedia talk:Verifiability. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. NebY (talk) 12:38, 8 October 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
Completely unjustified block, for the second time. Same admin again. Sovmeeya (talk) 12:52, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Block extended indefinitely. Yamla (talk) 18:10, 9 October 2024 (UTC)

- I have some hope that when you return from this block you'll consider a new approach to disputes on Wikipedia. I'd suggest reading the following policies/guidelines/essays, and if you have any questions about them or how your conduct fits into them, I'm happy to answer them: Returning immediately to disruptive activity after the end of a block is a big red flag. If you continue disruption after this second temporary block, your next block is probably going to be indefinite. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 12:59, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
Sovmeeya, your unblock request shows a profound lack of understanding. Please explain why I should not extend your block indefinitely. Hint: I'm looking for you to WP:DROPTHESTICK, clearly commit to abiding by WP:EW and WP:NPA, and perhaps suggest a WP:TOPICBAN. Think carefully before responding. You have a chance here, don't blow it. --Yamla (talk) 13:16, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
- The profound lack of understanding is all yours. I have not violated any of these policies. Don't feel too bad about it though, lack of understanding and personality problems are quite common in this community. But I do think you should refrain from admin actions, right after you unblock me and apologize to me. Sovmeeya (talk) 18:06, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- I have extended your block indefinitely. I'm sorry you declined to take the opportunity I offered you. --Yamla (talk) 18:10, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
