Speedy deletion nomination of Eginyn
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Eginyn, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. (See section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Please post new level-2 headered sections at the bottom of talk pages, not the middle of 8 year old discussions. New Level-2s indicates new sections not continuations
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Your recent talk page comments were not added to the bottom of the page. New discussion page messages and topics should always be added to the bottom. Your message may have been moved by another user. In the future you can use the "New section" link in the top right. For more details see the talk page guidelines. Thank you. -- 70.51.200.101 (talk) 05:09, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 13
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dual voltage, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dual-voltage. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Random nonsense
[edit]Thanks for all your help at RfD. I for one truly appreciate it. Not many can be bothered to go there and do that kind of gnoming, and I shall not always agree with you, but I very much appreciate you taking the time and care. A new and true asset.
If you are ever in Cambridge and you like gadgets, get yourself to the British Antarctic Survey museum, it's just by the botanical gardens. It has a player piano from some expedition of Ernest Shackleton's that completely failed ... the thing that amazes me is not only did he take it there ("Hang on boys, nearly forgot the piano") but, after losing I dunno how many people, and about sixteen ships stuck in Antarctic ice, said "Hang on boys, we have to get the piano back to Blighty". I would have thought he had other concerns. Nice piano, though, Si Trew (talk) 03:29, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
- Actually that is one thing I am going to do. Ryanair, who are known for their tough policies (what do you expect at the price?), have a free policy on musical instruments. And one day I am going to take a piano and ask them to do it as carry-on luggage. 03:35, 17 March 2015 (UTC)

[edit]I just wanted to offer my apologies for my speaking out of turn on the Pomona thread. I had no call to react in that way. GregKaye 16:14, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
I appreciate the fact that you took the initiative to speak out. With that, I forgive you for your acts and only hope you won't do anything similar in the future. Thanks again! We're friends, of course. <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 23:38, 17 March 2015 (UTC) has given you a dove! Doves promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day happier. If you post in two different sections on a talk page, each needs a signature
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 21:05, 21 March 2015 (UTC)

Teahouse talkback: you've got messages!
[edit]Please note that all old questions are archived after 2-3 days of inactivity. Message added by David Biddulph (talk) 14:52, 24 March 2015 (UTC). (You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{teahouse talkback}} template).
You should really wait for the discussion to end and then make all the moves/changes at once. Jumping the gun and doing it piece by piece just confuses people. Since it seems like the move proposal is going to go through, I'll leave your changes to the DAB page. -- Fyrael (talk) 21:31, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: sandbox (March 30)
[edit]- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to User:Llusiduonbach/sandbox and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.

I found this template, but I'm not sure what it is for. I saw you created it, so I thought I'd ask you. —PC-XT+ 23:26, 29 March 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. I don't know of a policy against foreign languages in userspace, though other namespaces generally require English, so the sandbox will need to be submitted on the Welsh Wikipedia to become an article. It might be better to redirect this template to {{Stub}}, after other foreign language template translations, however, it no longer seems to be used, so I'm not sure if it is still needed. —PC-XT+ 05:03, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

[edit]I'm just contacting the author about it as it seems to be a draft for the article currently existing at cy-wiki and I'm asking if it's still needed. Peridon (talk) 10:56, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
