Regarding infobox of Communist Party of India and Communist Party of India (Marxist)
Hi,
The way Seats in the Legislative Assembly section of the infobox is arranged right now is making the infobox much bigger. and if we include all the 29 states and UT(if the party win seats in the elections), then it will become much bigger, and will lose the very basic idea of infobox, which is to provide a brief and concise info of the article. Can't we make the section like I did here and here. I agree with your point that we need to keep in mind the base data. We have no up to date counting of seats in all Vidhan Sabhas, so as new elections are held, seat distribution change. But as the seats distribution change, the infobox will be unnecessary big. I have one suggestion, we can introduce a table in the article for state wise list, and in infobox, provide the final counting to avoid the infobox becoming too large. DYK for Madhavi Sarkar
On 17 August 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Madhavi Sarkar, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that after the murder of Bihar communist legislator Ajit Sarkar in 1998, his widow Madhavi Sarkar was elected for his seat in a by-election? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Madhavi Sarkar. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Disambiguation link notification for August 22
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Simaria by-election, 2008, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page NTPC. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
