Notice

The file File:Economic Freedom Party (Israel) logo.svg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:DECORATIVE use of a non-free logo in Abir Kara which fails WP:NFCC#8. Despite what is claimed in the "Purpose" of the non-free use rationale provided for this file, the file is not being used "as the primary means of visual identification at the top of the article dedicated to the entity in question", but rather has simply been added to an article about the party's founder. The party is only briefly mentioned in the article and there's no sourced critical commentary of the logo itself or any other content that would justify the non-free use of the file per WP:NFC#CS; in other words, there's nothing about this particular file that the reader needs to see to understand any content about the party and, thus, no loss of encyclopedic understanding of the article content caused by omitting the file.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:42, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
