Welcome
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you.
And thank you very much for you contribution to Pancreatic cancer peer review! NikosGouliaros (talk) 17:30, 17 November 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sargodha, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Dates, Pears and Punjabi. re "Erin Ade" page
[edit]Hi, you deleted a page regarding "Erin Ade" in July 2011 (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Erin_Ade&action=edit&redlink=1). I saw on the Deletion discussion page that 1) the article was poorly referenced and 2) she was not considered to have significant claim to notability. I think, now, she is quite a respectable journalist with her own financial program "Boom Bust" at RT. I want to create her Bio page. How should i proceed? Thanx.Sohebbasharat (talk) 23:56, 21 February 2015 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Oheneba Boachie-Adjei, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.hss.edu/physicians_boachie-adjei-oheneba.asp.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Copyright problem: Oheneba Boachie-Adjei
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! - Hi, Thank you. I am actually taking information from that webpage. Is it a copyright violation? I mean, I have to take his biography details from somewhere, (and have to reference it). I cannot make his Date of Birth, or where he worked etc. etc. Thanx. Sohebbasharat (talk) 18:08, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- Essentially, put it in your own words.--Peaceworld 21:36, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, Sohebbasharat, the advice given by Peaceworld111 is right. You can draw the facts and concepts from the sources you are citing, but (except in a very few rare cases) the actual language you use to express the information must be entirely your own. So you can (and should) take his date of birth from the sources, but you should not copy the way the source says it; if the source says "Dr. Boachie-Adjei, was born in Kumasi, Ghana, on December 16, 1950", you can't put that in the article; but you could say, for example, "Boachie-Adjei was born on 16 December 1950 in Kumasi in southern Ghana, in West Africa". The words must be your own. If you are not clear about the difference, please ask here – I should see what you have written, and will try to explain further. Or you could ask at the Teahouse (I see that you have an invitation higher up this page).Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 23:22, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

israel iraq section
[edit]You forgot to mention Iraq's participation in 1948 and also the main reason for the bombing was that Israel was afraid that Iraq will now attack the country for a fourth time.
- Hello Sir, I think you did not read the article before undoing my edit. Here is how it went: "Iraq declared war on the newly established Jewish state in 1948 and since then the relations between the two states have remained hostile at best. Iraqi forces also participated in the subsequent wars against Israel in 1967 and 1973." How can you say that I did not mention Iraq's participation in 1948 war? And about the reason you are mentioning here, you can edit and add that whatever and whenever you want, what has that got to do with my edit? Why do you want to undo my edit? Please discuss on the article talk page if you have any reservations.. Sohebbasharat (talk) 11:56, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
Possible hoaxes older than Jar'Edo Wens?
[edit]Hello, I want to let you know that the two articles I nominated for PROD would be the oldest hoaxes that could have ever existed on Wikipedia.
- ʿĀd Was created on May 6, 2005 and so is older than Jar'Edo Wens, 9 years and 11 months.
- I also proposed ‘Ad for deletion as it was a suspected hoax and it already has been 10 years since that article was created. The Snowager-is awake 03:16, 26 April 2015 (UTC)

Re: Nimra Ahmed
[edit]A quick Google search reveals 148,000 hits for "Jannat Kay Pattay" suggesting it might be a notable book. A more careful search should be performed in English and non-English languages to see if reliable sources are available, bearing in mind that different transliterations of her name appear common (eg "Nemrah Ahmed"). Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 03:00, 21 October 2016 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Mama Qadeer
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Mama Qadeer. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Missing persons (Pakistan). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Missing persons (Pakistan) – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. -AsceticRosé 05:05, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
