Request reason:

I am a new Editor at Wikipedia, apologies if my English is not so good. I work with children and vulnerable groups, and am involved with the local church, and boys choir group and happened upon the pornography laws page and was shocked at what I was Looking at. Looking at the history it seems a edit was inappropriately undone so I reinstated it and was promptly blocked by FlightTime. I feel a gross injustice has been done as the edit clearly cites the relevant UK legislation published by the crown prosecution service, as I clearly pointed out. The edit history is one of persistent disruptive vandalism and work being undone without justification despite appropriate legal citations from government websites.

I would appreciate your taking the time to view the edit history, there is no connection to the previous edits. I reinstated edits made previously by a different user and added a couple of sentences that clarified the situation. The undoer could delete anything unreferenced or improve the readability but undoing cited work surely contravenes Wikipedia policy, undermines the whole project and prevents development of articles flagged as needing more work, or citations added.

The page has been extended protected and I would request you reinstate my most recent edit with the extended protections. The page title actually requests editors to add citations as a matter of high importance.

If you are able to give me block protection privileges and let me edit extended protected pages I can chip away at it when I have the time, Usually weekends. I was mid edit when my first edit was undone before I added references and was blocked after I added the references. SofaSurfer56 (talk) 17:35, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The stated reason for the block is block evasion, but you do not address that in your request. You will need to return to your original account to request unblock. 331dot (talk) 17:47, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
