[edit]Hello, I'm Toddst1. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Blac Chyna, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. WP:DOB is to be taken seriously. Toddst1 (talk) 02:33, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
I source 'Early life' box on Wikipedia page for Blac Chyna. It says she was born May 11th 1988 in Washington D.C. If my edit was removed, why does it still say the same thing in the early life box? Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 02:37, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Helge Ingstad, you may be blocked from editing. David Brooks (talk) 14:10, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Did you see what I edited it to? STOP SAYING IF I CONTINUE BECAUSE I HAVEN'T DONE IT BEFORE I DID IT TO SHOW YOU THAT THAT IS CONSIDERED DISRUPTIVE EDITING, NOT ADDING FACTUALLY CORRECT INFORMATION. Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 14:14, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Overlinking
[edit]Hi Sof1a s1ng3r - I have reverted a few of your edits, such as Nora Eddington and George Harrison, for overlinking - so I have come to explain the reason.
As explained at WP:OVERLINKING we only link the first use of a term in an article, and we do not normally link:-
- Everyday words understood by most readers.
- Names familiar to most readers, including;- major countries, major cities, major languages, major nationalities/ethnicities and major religions
- Common units of measurement and dates
There are many articles where these are already, incorrectly, linked; however, United States is clearly a major country, and American is a major nationality, so neither should be linked - Thanks - Arjayay (talk) 14:24, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
England? Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 14:51, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- Yes England. Please read the over linking guideline. MarnetteD|Talk 15:07, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Eric Clapton. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
Please read and follow MOS:SEAOFBLUE - Arjayay (talk) 20:51, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
How is it unconstructive? And if you think it's vandalism.. Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 20:52, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- You were asked to read MOS:SEAOFBLUE - which clearly explains this - Ripley, Surrey should not be changed to Ripley, Surrey, - as you appear to be having trouble understanding the wikilinking rules (over 100 of your recent edits have been reverted), I suggest you edit in another area. - Arjayay (talk) 21:02, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
Why was my edit from England to United Kingdom reverted? Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 21:18, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
- Please stop changing U.S. to United States of America. U.S. is perfectly fine. – zmbro (talk) (cont) 23:38, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
U.S. is NOT the name of the country. The United States of America is the name. Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 11:10, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
Un-constructive editing.
[edit]Please don’t wipe information from Infoboxs such as the Roman Abramovich page, such editing can be taken such as this one as vandalism and I’d advise not to just wipe words off pages. Salandarianflag (talk) 21:04, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
Unconstructive editing!
[edit]Please refrain from editing any articles on Wikipedia until you learn to edit properly and constructively and also to leave an edit summary. If you don't, I will try my hardest to make sure you are blocked. In the meantime, all of your edits have been reverted. Regards, MattSucci (talk) 03:14, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Alright seriously though, why.. what is wrong with those edits, it just gives it in more detail, if you don't think that is right or anything well .. Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 08:59, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
I wouldn't say Wikipedia can 'let anyone edit it' because all of you idiots keep reverting them! Like what is the point of having a wiki when other people try to help add information, you keep reverting it, it's so messed up, think about your choices Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 09:02, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Try leaving an edit summary to explain what you have done and why you have done it. Plus your continued need to mess with infoboxes and obviously the lack of the two things I have mentioned above, are simply going to alienate you. Regards, MattSucci (talk) 13:30, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
UM EXCUSE ME! A few people on Wikipedia are like you, just being an idiot, like the way you put things are wrong, I wasn't "messing with infoboxes" because it is factually correct, instead of 'Denmark', I changed it to 'Denmark-Norway' factually correct as it is before 1814. YOU always want to simplify things, I go for CORRECT INFORMATION thank you very much, stop telling everyone what to do, stop being bossy, let people edit if their edit is CORRECT. Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 13:34, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
If it is correct, all you need to do is leave an edit summary, then other editors will know your purpose here! And please don't throw around insults like 'idiot', that will get you blocked even quicker than unconstructive editing. Regards, MattSucci (talk) 14:13, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
For me it is hard to do the summary, I don't really know what to write in it, I'm sorry it's just I get really cross when people just say that I do things wrong when I didn't do anything wrong I'm extremely sorry I said that. Also editing Wikipedia is good for me because I like editing for the knowledge of other people, I never add incorrect information, because I want to let people have all the information. I am going through a very hard time because I'm trans and I have a lot of stress with everything at the moment, and especially with trans information there isn't enough and not many people are educated on the topic, I want people to be educated about things, so I correct edits to the correct information. Also I used to live in a country that had a lack of freedom, no freedom of speech, and a lack of knowledge and education about outside things. I'm sorry but it does mean so much to me about editing Wikipedia, it means more to me than any of you. And when you revert my edits which I spend nearly an hour researching, and once I have found correct information, I add it. And when you revert it, it honestly breaks my heart, I have to research it all again, just to find the correct information, that you all reverted for no justifiable reason. Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 14:22, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
- The summary need be only a few words long, nothing complicated. As for you being trans, what does that have to do with anything? Everybody is equal here as long as they follow the rules of the community. As for your recent outbursts, due to them, I don't think it's going to go well for you. Regards, MattSucci (talk) 15:50, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
May 2022 - again
[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Fenning Island . - Arjayay (talk) 18:32, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
I don't need sources - the name is literally on maps and I live near there so I think I should know if it's correct or not, and why the fuck would you block me for that, it is literally not that big of a deal you are making it much more of a problem than it needs to be, ok? Understand? Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 19:49, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 20
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Fenning Island, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page English. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Fenning Island moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Fenning Island, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. I don't need reliable sources anyway - I literally live close to it and like I think I know about it Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 23:40, 29 May 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Technoblade, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Aoidh (talk) 17:32, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
It's rather confusing for me to add sources and I'm not too sure how to do it. Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 18:50, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at William Vanderpuye, you may be blocked from editing. FMSky (talk) 01:36, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
I'm sorry but how the fuck is this disruptive. I added the correct birth date and birth place. How the fucking hell is it disruptive. Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 17:34, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- How about adding a fucking source? --FMSky (talk) 17:55, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
I have noticed that on other articles that say the birth date, there isn't a fucking source in sight. Now I know Wikipedia wants people to contribute. I am trying to contribute, how come every contribution I make, gets reverted. How about you Google "William Vanderpuye" and see that it says the date of birth. So why don't you fucking get a grip and stop picking at people who are trying to help expand Wikipedia. Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 22:41, 9 October 2022 (UTC)

- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

- First off, drop the cursing, it won't get you anywhere... It just proves more and more that you can't carry a conversation without dropping curse words...
- Second, you have made edits on other pages before, please see William Vanderpuye and then click on "View history" tab and look for October 9, where you go ballistic once again and curse like a pirate...
- Also, read what user GimliDotNet posted below and take the advice... posty (talk) 21:14, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
This isn't abuse. Can you please understand where I'm coming from rather than biting please Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 18:42, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- Chill dude, you’ll give yourself an aneurysm. Take some time away from editing, read the guidelines on how to contribute constructively - it’ll make your time here a lot better. GimliDotNet (talk) 20:31, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
Alright, about William Vanderpuye - you literally just need to have a quick search on Google to see the information I entered was factually correct. All I got from a selfish editor was that there wasn't a source, however on nearly all people on Wikipedia with an article there is no source for the birth date, mostly because the birth date is common knowledge. that wasn't even my fault about William Vanderpuye, but that other editor. Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 07:19, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
- See WP:NOTTHEM. Deb (talk) 13:10, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
- It might have been factually correct, but Wikipedia usually would like an individual page about the incident, not a one-line sentence embedded inside a thread about the lake... As for the source, that is something that Wikipedia has been doing with any new entry for maybe a couple of years now and any entry previously there has been allowed to not have an outside reference... People have been working to outside source entries on these pages at their convenience... posty (talk) 15:16, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
"GOOD FAITH" - nonsense Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 14:18, 14 December 2022 (UTC)

- It doesn't need a source. I live near there, and I would assume I would know what I'm talking about. I can still get a source for the population etc. Sof1a s1ng3r (talk) 09:18, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
- It does need a source. You’ve been here long enough to know that. You are not a reliable source for any content in the article space GimliDotNet (talk) 10:35, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
