Your recent ANI post
[edit]Hi. Thanks for your recent post at ANI. Although I closed it because it was posted in the wrong venue, I did take a look at the articles you singles out as a source of concern. Two of them had already been redirected to Brian Kelly (composer). After looking at the remaining one and checking Google I concluded it also failed basic notability criteria and subsequently redirected it as well. Thanks for keeping an eye out for problematic articles. Best regards... -Ad Orientem (talk) 20:09, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
Isn't it junky to leave these awful redirects out there? The whole situation here has made a mess of wikipedia. !!! Sn00per (talk) 20:16, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
- A redirect is the easiest way to handle it. It is possible that someone might look for those subject titles and this will take them to the main article on the composer while eliminating the likely promotional content that clearly does not meet our guidelines. It is also a lot easier than deleting an article. See Redirecrs Are Cheap. And in all honesty if this were sent to AfD it would likely end with a verdict to redirect it.-Ad Orientem (talk) 20:23, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
Composer template
[edit]I have closed the TFD discussion for {{Brian Kelly (composer)}}, as currently it meets the criteria of WP:NAVBOX. If your AFD nominations are successful, I invite you to re-nominate the template. Primefac (talk) 18:05, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
