Outerloop Management deletion
You deleted the article named Outerloop Management which completely fits within the realm of a company. I wasn't finished working on this and was awaiting information verification for it. I believe that you were too hasty to delete this and that it should be reenstated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.204.93.13 (talk) 00:30, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- I deleted that article as being unambigously promotional. It stated "The company's mission is to use extensive industry experience to guide clients to achieve personal and professional success. Based on open communication and long lasting partnerships, Outerloop Management establish a foundation with each client so they can prosper artistically and financially over the course of a prolonged and fulfilling career" which is a long, long way off being neutral which every article has to be. Whatsmore, few companies are worthy of having articles. I suggest you take a look at WP:42 for a quick explanation of what is required. Please let me know if you have an further questions. With Best Regards!!!
This page was a detailed information of a company which is a legend in car rental industry. how ever if due to use of certain words, if you think that it was a unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service then the same should have been modified or should have been told to modify first instead of deleting the entire content. It takes a whole lot of time for a seed to become tree after being planted in soil but it just takes few minutes to cut down the same tree similarly to collect a data and make a detailed report on them take a lot of effort but deleting doesn't. I can understand that my content made you feel like an advertisement but Dear Sir, you could have easily changed or edited those fields. Will certainly request you to remove the speedy deletion tag. Rest in your hands.

Hello Smartse
As a founding and current member of the band Antisect I wanted to thank you on behalf of the band for protecting the Antisect page back in May this year.
We appreciate that 'edit warring' is not welcomed on Wikipedia, and would like to offer you a brief explanation of what we believe ocurred.
It is our strong suspicion that much of the 'editing' was being done by an ex member who parted company with the band somewhat acrimoniously earlier this year. (Shortly before the edits began to occur). After the edits were drawn to our attention, a representative of the band took on the task of simply reverting to the previous versions that had existed beforehand.
Although several IP addresses can be connected to this activity, there are 2 IP addresses which appear consistently in relation to the malicious content, etc. in the editing history, and thus, the current band members are pretty certain that this is the work of the aforementioned ex-member and is part of a wider, concerted internet campaign aimed at disrupting the band's activity and publicly calling into question their integrity.
It will perhaps have been obvious to you that the page was persistently vandalised, and partially or completely deleted in addition to being used to post malicious and profane content. There were also numerous instances of libellous and defamatory statements being made about the current members of Antisect.
Further to this, there are sections of the page which have been changed by this individual, the text of which we are not satisfied with, but which it became pointless to change due to the constant reversions back to their preferred take on things. In particular, we are not happy for the band to be referred to in the past tense, given that we are clearly currently active and intend to continue being so as can be seen from from our website - www.antisect official.com.
The band understands that the protection of the Antisect page is due to expire on the evening of 14 August at which point we anticipate that the individual will most likely resume their campaign. I'm sure you can imagine that it is distressing for both the band and their families to have to continuously monitor this activity and would like to ask if it would be possible to protect the page for a slightly longer period, possibly until a suitable resolution between both parties is achieved. In the event that this might not be possible, we would be grateful for any insight you could provide with regards to how the page might be monitored and/or protected from being vandalised in the future.
Grateful for your thoughts, Antisect (2012) 2.123.105.126 (talk) 22:49, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker)I can't speak for SmartSE, but typically we won't protect (or renew protection) until the disagreement visibly flares up again on the page. I will have a look at the article to see if anything clearly violates our policies and guidelines. In other news, I have blocked an account which made one edit during that edit war (I suppose) and had the band name in it; such account names fall foul of our naming policy. Until protection runs out, or if it is protected again, edit proposals can be made on the article talk page. Drmies (talk) 22:57, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi there. No problem for protecting the article - it was certainly one of the longest edit wars I've ever seen! As Drmies has already kindly pointed out we don't protect pages preemptively as there needs to have been recent disruption. The article is on my watchlist though so I am likely to notice any changes that are made within 24 hours and if the IP returns, I will protect the article again. I have changed the 'were' to 'are' in the article as I found a reference about the re-release of In Darkness There is No Choice from earlier this year. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do. Thanks SmartSE (talk) 17:30, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
Many thanks to both of you for the quick response. Appreciate your efforts to date and grateful for the offers of further assistance if it proves necessary.
Cheers

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute in which you may have been involved. Maybe be a bit more specific on username soft blocks
I noticed you just blocked HilloryDuff (talk · contribs) for violating the username policy by apparently impersonating Hillary Duff. There actually is a template that lets users know the full reason for the username block {{uw-ublock-famous}}
rather than the generic {{uw-ublock}}
. Hope this helps! Reaper Eternal (talk) 13:53, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for your note. I use User:Animum/easyblock.js which doesn't include that blocking template and I wasn't aware of it til now. I've changed it now though and will try to remember it in the future. Cheers SmartSE (talk) 14:07, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi Smartse. You deleted the article talk page so you may have also deleted the article itself. Please do let me know if this message is unhelpful; a have a history of making comments like this one, and would be happy to desist.--Shirt58 (talk) 09:41, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the speedy on Saeed Younan
However, as I was watching Mrs. Younan (I know!) plug sources in, I saw at least one source which looked like RS to me. Now I tagged this myself, so expected deletion, but wonder if you might userfy the page for me to see if I can make something out of it. Would you put it here? Thanks! - Sure. It was completely spammy which is why I deleted it but the subject appears notable. Here are a couple more sources: [1] [2]. SmartSE (talk) 18:46, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Pal-Kshatriya
::Qwyrxian has already explained that you need to cite reliable sources for information that you add to articles, but you have added more poorly cited information again. Can you please ensure that information that you add in the future meets our policies and guidelines? This means that you need reliable books, not a vague mention of 'Mend Jogis'. Thanks SmartSE (talk) 11:32, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
Hi Smartse, Myself belongs to same caste/clan i.e. Pal-Kshatriya and very obviously I am aware with the Gotra/Kula or Clan name of my caste. And you wont find any Historical book showing Gotra/Kula or Clan name. Now can you please Undo deletion of Gotra/Kula (Clan name) section in the article. Thanks, --Jalaj Singh (talk) 11:47, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
- Well at least that clears things up. Your edits are what we call original research - they are based on your personal knowledge, not what has been published in reliable sources. If there is no book that contains the information then it can't be included here. SmartSE (talk) 12:24, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
GMOs are just as often not transgenic.
The only GMOs that are not transgenic are the product of selective breeding, which iz a different article. "Artificial Mutants" is a term that avoids the confusion. For that reason, it iz more clear. There iz no point of view in two words, Unless you hav difficulty distinguishing fiction from fact, "Artificial Mutants" avoids confusion. 142.59.48.238 (talk) 14:52, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
a4add was my first article but its deleted by you. I dont understand the actual reason. I didnt intentionally added anything in page. I created my personal website www.jaisonje.com using a4add and I thouhgt to refer it using wikipidia. Could you please help me to add this page again. I am requesting, Please.. I appreciate your help. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.242.136.8 (talk) 11:26, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
- Hi. The main problem is that the article was written like an advert - sentences like "One site in one place!" and "Our Package includes all the necessary features and add-on’s to get your on-line business succeed." is not neutral. Using "our" makes it appear as if you were deliberately doing so, but maybe it is because your English is not so great... Even if that was resolved though, it is unlikely we should have an article about the site as it is not notable. WP:WEB explains what you need to find to create an article - unless newspapers have written about the site, then we shouldn't have an article. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks SmartSE (talk) 11:46, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
Hi Smartse,
I understand the issues and I think you were right :) I was actually used some contents from other marketing websites. I think thats was the problem. They are also known as Pal Kshatriya, Pali Rajput, Rajpal or Rajpai, Rajpali, Baghel in Northern part of country. In certain districts of Haryana and Rajasthan, they referred to as Maratha Rajput ( Maratha / Mahratta:Singular or Marathe / Mahratte:Plural derived from the word Barhatta or Barhatti, i.e. Hatkar / Holkar ) A well known title for Rajputs was: Rajpali / Rajpai. Some believe it be a race, under the names of Rajpalika or simply Pala, and is mentioned by many genealogists, especially those of the Saurashtra, to which in all probability it was confined. This tends to make it Scythian in origin- a conclusion strengthened by the derivation of the name, meaning Royal Shepherd; it was probably a branch of the ancient Pali. Some think that this was not a race but honorific title for Rajputs.

They also call themselves Nikhar / Naikar which is corrupted form of Nayak, means Commandant (????). As in case of Holkar Maratha of Indore, they also call themselves as Assal / Asali Dhangar. How the word Nikhar came in existence, there are two theories: During the sixth and fifth centuries, when Buddism was on rise in India many Kshatriya converted to Buddhism, Later in the 8th century, Adi Shankaracharya gave the call for purification. Meanwhile differences arose between the Hinayana (??????) and Mahayana (??????) Buddhists. Consequently, those who took to Buddhism rejoined the Hindu faith.
1.Those who rejoined through the purification began to call themselves Nikhar (????), i.e., purified. 2.Those who didn't accept Buddhism and remain Hindu are considered Pure / Bleach. Thus, the word got mixed with purity and Nayak / Nayakar became Nikhar (????). (Holkar Maratha are Hatkar or Bargi-Dhangar, they also use titles Naik / Nayak or Rao / Rav).

They are also called GadhArya or GaDri / GaDeri. It is believed, since they were Custodian or Defender of Fort, they are called GadhArya ???-???? (Gadha from Hindi: ??? Fort + Arya from Sanskrit: ???? Custodian / Owner).

I noticed that you posted it on the talk page as well so hopefully someone more familiar with it can take a look. Questions about a deleted page - Chet Holmes
Hi SmartSE, It looks like you deleted the page that I contributed on Chet Holmes. It looks like you thought it was too much promoting his speaking career, however because he has just passed away this will obviously not help his speaking career at all!! Could you re-activate this page and let me know what needs to be taken out, added or changed so that it fits your criteria? Would it help if I removed the quoted section from All American Speakers, and contribute original content?
Thanks SmartSE!

- Hi Kurtis. Sorry for the delay in responding. There were several reasons for deleting Chet Holmes. First, the content was copy and pasted directly from other websites, making it a copyright violation. The content was also not neutral and in fact, way too positive also qualifying the article for deletion as spam - whether he is deceased or not is irrelevant (presumably his estate could still have something to benefit from). Because of these problems I won't be reinstating what I deleted. If you want to have another go, take a look at how to write your first article and start it at User:Kurtis N S B/sandbox (I just had to delete a draft that was there too as it was copy+pasted). Keep it short, write in your own words and stick to what you find in high quality newspapers. Drop me a note again and I can take a look without the risk of it being deleted. Hi Smartse, I've been working on our Meth mouth article recently and have it up for peer review now. This is the first drug-related article I've worked on, so I'm hoping for feedback about how I did with it. Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education
Hello!
I wrote a page for HKAGE. However, since the page of Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education is locked, the page of HKAGE could not uploaded successfully.
The article of HKAGE is different from the article of Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education. The unnecessary information in Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education as suggested by editors and administrators has been removed. Reliable sources from newspapers and govenerment papers in Hong Kong are quoted. These can justify the notable and reliability of the article.
Besides, HKAGE is a non-profit organisation targeting 150,000 gifted students, their teachers and parents in Hong Kong. I think it is important enough for an entry. The stakeholders are a lot more than high schools in Hong Kong. Even some high schools contributed the article, so I don't think it is not necessary to have an article like HKAGE.
If you think the article of HKAGE is promotional, would you please kindly show me an example of how to rewrite by using the content in the article, so as to demonstrate the standard of non-promotional required by Editors/ Administrators? As I checked out different sites, they have listed many products or quoted from their own websites, but those websites are not deleted. Please see below examples-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sony_Ericsson_products
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Kong_Bird_Watching_Society
I'm looking forward to your reply. Thank you.

Hi Smartse. I'm leaving you this message because you have previously been involved as an adopter with Wikipedia's Adopt-a-user program. A clean-up of this program is currently underway, and as part of the process I am trying to find out who is and isn't still interested in remaining an adopter.
If you would prefer not to be part of the adoption program anymore, you need do nothing; when the overhaul of the project is completed your name will be removed from the list of active adopters. However, if you have current adoptees, an active adoption school or an interest in adopting in the near future, then please let us know by signing here.
If you want to remain in the project and can currently take on more adoptees, there is a serious backlog at Category:Wikipedians seeking to be adopted in Adopt-a-user; it would be enormously helpful if you could take on one or two of the users there. Please do keep an eye on the project for upcoming changes, we could use your opinions and your help! Yunshui 雲水 09:21, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Notwithstanding there are thousands of articles, tens no doubt, of lesser substance which don't even come close yet have somehow managed to avoid Speedy Deletion. I'm not sure how that works.Wikiuser100 (talk) 16:06, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
- Well yes, speedy deletion is a bit like British Bulldogs - most articles that should be speedily deleted are, but some slip through the net. In the past it was easier for articles to slip through which means we're left with tens of thousands of articles that need deleting. If you come across them tag them. SmartSE (talk) 11:48, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
I hear, and generally accept, that. But click down this list (as but one example of many similar on Wikipedia): List of mountaineering equipment brands. Many with pages are but a few brief paragraphs functionally the same as the Metolius "starter" I produced (and was given no opportunity to flesh out), while longer ones often tend towards promotional tones.
I am not asking that you tag short ones for deletion (or take on de-gunking the longer). I frankly believe the Metolius article was deleted in error. What is the appeal process to get this reversed? Yours Wikiuser100 (talk) 17:36, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
- I should really have linked to 'other stuff exists' before. I don't see how adding more short articles about small non-notable companies helps the project. If you disagree then you are absolutely free to move the userfied version back into main space using Special:MovePage/User:Wikiuser100/Metolius_Climbing and I will tag it for review by another admin, or if you prefer go straight to AFD. 21:21, 10 August 2012 Smartse (talk | contribs) deleted page Underearners Anonymous (A7: Article about a company, corporation, organization, or group which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject (CSDH))
thanks Petersam (talk) 19:36, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
- I have userfied it per your request to User:Petersam/Underearners_Anonymous. It looks very unlikely though that the organisation will pass the general notability guideline so please make sure you find some good quality sources before moving it back into mainspace. Thanks SmartSE (talk) 20:24, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
- thanks for reply and guidelines Petersam (talk) 20:53, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
Hi, seems the article was speedily deleted Oct 2011 and moved to User:Eweinber/Underearners_Anonymous. the editor added references from WSJ and AOL; but did not have the article moved into mainspace. I have also found new references from Harper and USA Today and another WSJ article this year plus Steppin Out Radio interview with the founder.. Before i do more work, does it meet the guidelines now? thanks, Petersam (talk) 21:40, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry for not replying sooner - I've been busy and somehow missed/forgot about your second message. I've had a quick look at the draft and it looks reasonable enough, but it could do with more secondary sources - have you checked google books and google news? I'm not sure that the header "success" is neutral, but that's not a major concern. Feel free to use the move function to move it back into mainspace. SmartSE (talk) 19:37, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
Request for desalinization
Hi Smartse, a while back, you salted The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education, which was unambiguous promotional material at the time. Since then, it was recreated and survived AfD at another title. Per an RM, it's been moved to Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education, so I think you'll agree that the original title should be de-salted and made a redirect. I'll happily make the redirect myself if you just de-salt, or you can do both. Requested per WP:RFUP. Thanks, BDD (talk) 05:46, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
- It was actually SarahStierch who salted the page, but as the article up now is fine, I have recreated The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education as a redirect. Thanks for letting me know. SmartSE (talk) 19:34, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
Antisect
Hi Smartse,
You'll maybe remember we talked about this a while back when the above page was temporarily protected. Since October 5th new, defamatory edits have begun to appear (This time from the ip address of 94.8.223.199 and citing as a reference a web page that we know has been set up by the ex member).
We thought it best to draw it to your attention this time, rather than begin the whole edit/revert process again and would be grateful if you could look into it once more.
Many Thanks,
Antisect — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.205.213.70 (talk) 22:38, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the note. I've removed what was referenced to the facebook page and left a note there asking them to stop. I will lock the page again if it is necessary. SmartSE (talk) 23:24, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
- My carrot didn't work, so I've now gone for the stick and locked it for unregistered users for another 6 months. SmartSE (talk) 08:49, 9 October 2012 (UTC)

Attribution
Dear Smartse,
I would like to use the picture [Eukaryotic flagellum http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Eukaryotic_flagellum.svg] in my thesis. Therefore I would like to know how to cite your name. --Scholich (talk) 15:07, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. You can just call me SmartSE from Wikipedia. You might also want to cite the text book I used to create it. It's listed at File:Eukaryotic_flagellum.svg#Summary. SmartSE (talk) 19:22, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
- I will do that, thanks for pointing to the book. --Scholich (talk) 13:05, 10 October 2012 (UTC)
Question
Because I recently did a very rough trim of the Coty Inc. article, I noticed an IP that was adding large lists of fragrance products to a bunch of different articles.[3][4][5][6]
I deleted the Coty Inc. one, but then I wasn't sure, should they be deleted? In my mind, ideally we would have a paragraph-form summary of the fragrances, but until someone writes one, a list is potentially better than nothing. Corporate 17:05, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
- Hmm... tricky. I'd be inclined to remove them per Wikipedia not being an indiscriminate collection of information - should our articles about companies list every single product they've ever made? If someone has written about them then it would be good to include them in the article, but a long list isn't really much use IMO. SmartSE (talk) 19:28, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll get to cutting. It is not unlike how many subjects have a long list of vendors, rather than a "business" section. What about a list of brands? (see this discussion) Corporate 20:42, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
- In depends a bit on the size of the company and notability of the brands, but as Cantaloupe noted on your talk page, if someone wants a huge list they are better off heading to the company's website rather than here. Kraft_Foods#Brands is a good way of doing things, but obviously most companies are not so huge! Looks like you did a good job with the clean up btw. SmartSE (talk) 22:27, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. It seems like Cantaloupe is on some campaign against me now - a good example of why COIs are better off not disclosing. Considering the circumstances I'm no longer interested in improving it, so I'll just leave it. Corporate 14:25, 10 October 2012 (UTC)
Hey Smart. I asked for help in the IRC channel RE some of my old, outstanding request edits and they suggested if I have waited a long time already and they are mundane edits I should just go ahead and make the edits.
You have commented on this one and I wanted to make sure you feel ok about me putting it in first. Corporate 19:40, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
- I'll reply there. SmartSE (talk) 21:24, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
Protect my user page permanently so I can only registered users to edit it. Greeting! --Kolega2357 (talk) 22:10, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
- Zdrȁvo! Is there any reason to do that? WP:UPROT says that user pages shouldn't be protected without good reason and there hasn't been any vandalism of your user page. SmartSE (talk) 22:29, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for the barnstar!
Very kind of you to take the time to do that! The articles needed and still need work, and while I have been bold I have tried to follow the Five Pillars.... but am always unsure if I am doing well. So I greatly appreciate your taking notice and providing happy feedback - I welcome critical feedback too!Jytdog (talk) 14:12, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- No probs. I have a lot of the articles watchlisted as I used to try and improve them a few years ago (cisgenesis was one of my first articles) and they often attract POV editors. From the edits that I've seen you make you're doing very well in what is obviously a controversial area. Unfortunately I don't have much/any time to edit content at the moment, but if you want a second opinion on something feel free to drop me a note and I'll get back to you asap. Abbott thayer countershading.jpg
Hi Smartse,
is it possible to move Abbott_thayer_countershading.jpg from en.wikipedia to commons.wikimedia? Regards, --Episcophagus (talk) 15:32, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- Sure. I can't believe it was 3.5 years ago that I uploaded that! Can you see the second duck btw?! SmartSE (talk) 16:02, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks! And the duck? Well, only parts of the steel-wire, so far... --Episcophagus (talk) 16:48, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
Trichoderma / Aluminium phosphide poisoning
Hi Sarindam7, I have reverted your additions to Trichoderma as the information was copy and pasted from this article making it a copyright violation. It is very important that you only add information to Wikipedia that is written in your own words. Please reply below if you're not sure why this is a problem. Thanks SmartSE (talk) 11:26, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- This is much better - thank you!
SmartSE (talk) 16:00, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- Welcome. Had to rush midway during editing. I tend to copy first, then rephrase. Bit quirky :) Sarindam7 17:26, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- I also noticed that a large proportion of Aluminium phosphide poisoning was copy and pasted too so have had to remove that. SmartSE (talk) 11:36, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- Aluminium phosphide poisoning rewritten. Sarindam7 18:02, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
Product Red
Thank you for the commendable work that you put into this page earlier this year. As you know, there is a heap of content on Wikipedia that has been entered without enough consideration and thought; this is of particular importance with pages covering issues of considerable significance, such as the Product Red page. On a side not, I have spent a fair amount of my adult life working in HIV prevention, so I need to admit that my perspective on this page goes beyond the Wikipedia realm. Anyway, what is more important is that you put time and effort into strengthening the integrity of a contentious page and I thought it appropriate to send you a small token of thanks.--Soulparadox (talk) 15:04, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
Heads Up
You have been mentioned by Cantaloupe2 at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard#Request for admin action per Civil, AGF, Hound. Specifically, a diff from your talk page was included in response to a complaint. You may at least want to take a look and ensure that what was said mirrors your intention at the time. --Nouniquenames 04:29, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
Please help me understand. It's an announcement of an unreleased debut album. What in it is not unambiguously promotional? What in it is encyclopedic? --Stfg (talk) 18:21, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
- The thing that stops it being spam is that are no superlatives or hype. I delete a lot of stuff under G11 but there's no way that the current version qualifies. SmartSE (talk) 18:33, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
- Well, there's a bit: "Afterwards, they released two music videos for the leading singles of the collaborative studio album, Thuggin' & Shame which were huge success." But I accept it's not excessively hyped. However, advertising and promotion don't have to involve superlatives and hype, do they. They can be very low-key and objective and still fulfil not other purpose than promotion. G11 is about promotion, incuding advertising, isn't it? It doesn't mention anything about tone. What am I missing. --Stfg (talk) 18:47, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
- That could easily be fixed through editing rather than deletion (which I have just done). Speedy deletion should only be used in clear cut cases where almost everyone would agree with the decision, and just because an article has been created it does not necessarily constitute advertising. Take a look through Category:Candidates_for_speedy_deletion_as_spam and you'll see what qualifies as spam and why this doesn't. Continuing to argue isn't going to get us anywhere. SmartSE (talk) 11:18, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for the explanation. The intention was not to argue, but to understand. This was my first G11. Probably my last. Sorry you found me argumentative. --Stfg (talk) 12:33, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
A cup of coffee for you!
Thanks for your prompt attention to--and action on--"The Lawyer Market" that was so desperately in need of it! I'm still amazed it languished as long as it did without deletion, as well as that it had been deleted once already and was re-created without opposition. Clearly, we need people like yourself as awake and aware as possible, so here's a cup of coffee for you! ;) Besieged talk 19:21, 23 October 2012 (UTC) |
- Thanks and no problem - I enjoy spam fighting! Unfortunately there are many, many articles like this which take a long while for us to deal with: Category:Articles_with_a_promotional_tone. SmartSE (talk) 10:37, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Removing backlinks
Hi, perhaps you usually remove backlinks after deletions, but you left a couple after deleting the hoax page Nullo Space. Please remember to sort out the redlinks – Fayenatic London 20:36, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the note. I do tend to check for links, but as most of my deletions are new pages there rarely are any so sometimes I get lazy... I'll try my best to remember to check more! SmartSE (talk) 20:16, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks! – Fayenatic London 11:51, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
