Reuben Foster edit
[edit]Do you have a citation for the middle name of Rueben Foster being Burdon? I cannot find that information anywhere else and would like to verify authenticity.
Someone has removed the middle name. Calibus78 (talk) 16:00, 25 November 2018 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Jonnu Smith
[edit]Hello, Slasher405,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Jonnu Smith should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jonnu Smith .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,

Your revert; ledes
[edit]Per wp:lede, your addition was not appropriate. --2604:2000:E016:A700:4817:7C35:95FE:6A92 (talk) 21:33, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
- Please see the previous reversion. It could be considered point-blanking, and that could also be inappropriate. Slasher405 (talk) 21:37, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
- I do not understand what you are trying to say. The material moved from the lede to the body did not belong in the lede. Per wp:lede. But you keep restoring it. Without an understandable explanation. I've linked to wp:lede for you. --2604:2000:E016:A700:4817:7C35:95FE:6A92 (talk) 21:47, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

- Given the input from other editors in this ANI discussion, I will revert. Nobody else seems to understand your rationale, or accept it, and I above gave you my rationale. I agree with the other comments at ANI (except for the one asking why neither of us opened up talk page discussion - as you pointed out, I did). 2604:2000:E016:A700:584:4549:565B:AFCB (talk) 16:39, 21 April 2017 (UTC)

I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Kimberley Garner, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Hi Slasher405. Thanks for helping out. In this case, it would have been better to use increasing levels of the uw-unsourced warning template (see Wikipedia:WikiProject User warnings/Usage and layout for more info) after each edit and then reporting to WP:AIV after the final-level warning. Also, a new editor has to be warned about WP:3RR and reverted after the warning before they can be reported to WP:ANEW. --NeilN talk to me 01:46, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
Curtis Samuel contract
[edit]You posted Sterling Shepard's contract on Curtis Samuel's Wikipedia page. Your reference said Samuel may receive a similar contract, but that does not mean you post Shepard's contract numbers on Samuel's page. Its wrong and very misleading to users who do not check your reference. Toeknee44 (talk) 00:42, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 15
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Zack Greinke, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Depression (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Could you please reconsider your message on that admins noticeboard? It's really misleading this way. I'm not doing "foul play", if you would check my edit history. And this forgery thing is obviously just a misunderstanding. It was a common practice to just copy text to the other users' talk pages. Many other users also do this. I didn't intend to "imitate" or something. And btw, in the edit-warring noticeboard that IP account is obviously doing some witch hunt based on personal reasons, since there is no edit-warring going on in that article. [edit]Mistake.--Yankees10 22:53, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
- Listen, it's all right. We all make mistakes. It was a good edit, and that's all that matters. You have been quite a veteran on Wikipedia, knowing a lot about football and baseball. Every editor has a right to voluntarily help out and type up what exactly what was true in the past games. In the meantime, just about every edit has to cite a reliable source and reference in the aftermath, so it reflects on those events properly. Slasher405 (talk) 22:58, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
Removing Plot tags
[edit]Please be more careful. In at least one case you removed a Plot tag claiming the summary looked like it was between 400-700 words, when it was over 800 words. It should be easy enough to get a word count before de-tagging, but please let me know if you need assistance. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 15:09, 18 December 2017 (UTC)

Julian Edelman
[edit]I don't what went wrong, but you added a reference saying the title was Julian Edelman suspended 4 games
. At least the article I can see has the headline Julian Edelman facing four-game suspension for PEDs
. I don't know if the article at one point had that headline, but the actual reference URL itself, which you used, says ....article/julian-edelman-facing-fourgame-suspension-for-peds . If that was a deliberate replacement of the title with one you preferred, please don't do that, it creates confusion. Tarl N. (discuss) 01:52, 8 June 2018 (UTC)

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Robert Trujillo. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 23:55, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
- Please see the article in the Spanish Wikipedia. I don't know why you are leaving messages like this on my talk page space, but it seems that you're trying to bait me into a plethora of trouble. If you look at the full name of Trujillo on the Spanish Wikipedia article, you just might have my permission to post it on this English Wikipedia. But, if you still think it is libelous or violating the BLP policy, you could be on the wrong avenue anyhow. But I will let it go this time, so that we can avoid committing an edit war. [edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Some were unnecessary cosmetic changes that were counterproductive, and another had grammar issues. Several IP editors have also added the "impaled by a Triceratops skull" to the plot summary just as you did, but this has been discussed on talk and removed from the article multiple times. Discuss further on the article's talk page if needed. Thank you. GoneIn60 (talk) 19:42, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
Tagging user pages
[edit]It's really not your place to be tagging socks, only the blocking admin or an SPI clerk/CU should be doing the tagging. Also tags such as this are incredibly unhelpful, because (a) the user isn't banned, and (b) it's bringing the troll the attention they crave. Some vandals revel in the idea of their userpages getting tagged; see WP:DENY, so all you're doing is giving them what they want. If a sock doesn't have a tag, that's almost always intentional. I know you mean well, but these tags are unhelpful and often inaccurate, and there are so many other ways you could be spending your time, so I suggest you give tagging userpages a rest. Sro23 (talk) 02:35, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, what Sro23 said. I came here from my watchlist entry for the page they linked to tell you the same thing. Please don't tag socks like this without a reason; as Sro23 said, it's almost always on purpose that they're not tagged. Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 03:21, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
- Just for reference, I've deleted all of the similar user pages you created for IP users; apart from the (still valid and relevant) concerns noted above, none had edits that were anywhere near recent enough to warrant tagging. None had edits more recent than two years ago (User:165.24.246.245), and one had edits that dated back to more than thirteen years ago (User:70.48.244.88). Please don't do this again.
