User talk:Skysmith/Archive 2007
Skysmith, I have noted your comments concerning my editing of the Brigade of Gurkhas site and added relevant references supporting/confirming some points, although I have not as yet re-edited the page. I will not be re-submitting the other points as they are from Original Experience (personal knowledge) rather than Original Research - I find the former far more accurate! I have noted and been suitably impressed by the diversity of your submissions, but only took the time to check two which took my eye. In kukris you have repeated all the known myths about kukris but omitted some detail which would be known by anyone who has used one or served with those using them, rather than read about them: the only kukris made from leaf springs are those for sale to tourists as souvenirs in the market in Kathmandu - originals (never designed or intended to be used as weapons) are made from old railway line. There are two very different blade shapes: those from the east (Dharan area) are longer and thinner than those from the west (Pokhara area), which are shorter and heavier, reflecting the different vegetation they are used to cut. Kukris with longer, heavier blades (around 50cms) are not used as swords (unbelievable!) but are kept for de-capitating goats or, if available, cattle, especially prior to the feast of Dasheera - hence the need for a blood groove and the lack of any requirement for any type of handguard. In sipahi you have strangely overlooked a direct translation in Nepalese - soldier - which appears to be far more relevant to its origin and use than sepoy, etc, which while they may fit the bill conveniently are of very dubious connection at best.--Whygurkhas? Persepolis Fortification Archive
[edit]I see you created an article on the Persepolis Fortification Archive, I've made some additions there. Could you revew my English, if you please?--Amizzoni 02:20, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- Certainly. Seems worthwhile. - Skysmith 13:59, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Well, thank you for your corrections and for your list of missing archaeological articles, it seems useful. --Amizzoni 15:20, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit]List of ethnic and social groups
[edit]I ran across your User:Skysmith/Missing topics about Ethnic and Social Groups, which is a useful list but seems to have a number of misspellings. I created redirects for several that I was positive about, but there's a few I want to check with you first. If Daru (tribe) and Taron (tribe) are the same, then there is a link for the latter (it doesn't mention the alternative name). Is the Zhuan ethnic minority in China perhaps supposed to be Zhuang? Toba is also done. Rigadoun (talk) 20:11, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- I collected the names from various sources and some of there are bound to be mispelt. You are right with Daru/Taron (the other name came from a book of genetics and apparently the writer wasn't sure what name to use). I am not sure about Zhuan since that tribe has spread to neighboring countries like Vietnam (one source claimed that they were related to Hmong but I do not know enough about them). I would definitely appreciate your help - Skysmith 20:23, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

missing topics in chemistry
[edit]Your list of missing topics in chemistry is a good idea. Thanks for doing this. I just need to point out that in all likelihood the entry Combinational chemistry actually refers to Combinatorial chemistry which does exist.--Nick Y. 18:10, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Baseless claims
[edit]Dear Skysmith: yesterday was my first and last wikipedia edit. Its my estimation that the narrative that i offered of Spartacus being a soldier of rome and knowledgable of the Campanian countryside are at least as insightful and contain more realistic conjecture than the limp wristed, tired explaination you replaced it with. Which is fine, but to call it vandalism! Not necessary. All my worries of 'wikipedia' confirmed my first ten minutes into it (btw, the 'i have no penis' thing was not me). unsigned by 58.186.43.249 (talk · contribs)

Hiya,
You might consider looking at the membership page of WP:ENLANG to see those who listed an area of specialization, then dropping them a little note to ask for input/insights etc. I'm sorry I can't help too much (see user page for expl.).

Your missing articles lists
[edit]Please don't revert without at least reading and acting on my edit summary!
The main WikiProject category is not to be clogged up with such lists which are likely to be of minority interest. If you need the lists to be categorised within the WikiProject please place them in the subcategory Category:Missing encyclopedic articles (biography). However, if they're for your own use only they shouldn't be categorised at all, and if they're for collaboration they ought to be in project space somewhere. All this was explained in my edit summary :) --kingboyk 19:47, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- Based on the amount of use I have seen these lists are not of "minority interest". The categories were there specifically to attract such interest, not to mention that the pages fall into the policy of letting non-disruptive userpages be (unless somebody has changed the policy lately).
- As for your suggestion for other category, you could have mentioned the fact to me directly instead of summarily deleting the categories - some of which are not connected to WikiProject Biography at all. I have you know that another editor added them a while ago (as you might have noticed from the page history) as a good idea - Skysmith 19:57, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- Put them in Category:Missing encyclopedic articles (biography). However, user pages generally don't get categorised. I'll turn a blind eye to it if they're hidden away in Category:Missing encyclopedic articles (biography) :) --kingboyk 20:02, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hey there. I noticed your additions to the article New Philadelphia Town Site I was wondering if you could tell me your sources, here or on my talk page, so I could insert inline citations for your additions. Arts lists
[edit]Hi, I saw your post to caravaggisti & have linked a couple & will do more later. Is it ok to add new missing ones, many of which are not on yours - I have my own little missing list? I don't have the encyclopedia refs. I notice lots of yours use a full 3 names where WP does/would only use 2, so I suspect there are many others that actually have articles. cheers Johnbod 14:44, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- You can add the missing ones to their proper places, just let me purge the blue links. As for the full names, I noticed the same thing when I was purging the lists earlier but for some reason I couldn't find more. I just used the names the books I used as sources did. - Skysmith 14:48, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- OK thanks Johnbod 15:02, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- I've done some more, but you would (maybe) get more help at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Visual_arts - these are easily the best VA missing articles lists I've seen! Johnbod 01:05, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Astro subjects
[edit]Hello, I think your list is missing Chinese Constellations as Chinese Constellations are still used to identify things in the sky in East Asia (ie, China, Japan, Korea) in popular media. Disambiguate John Matthews
[edit]Hi, Can you add a disambiguation page for John Matthews. I found three writer, footballer and soda fountain father. And I am hesitant to do it myself as I am a newbie. It would help to add article for soda man. Wikicrawler 17:11, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- It's not that hard, see here. You can use titles like John Matthews (football), John Matthews (writer and John Matthews (businessman). And you already know who you are talking about - Skysmith 22:13, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, My problem is that John Matthews for the writer is already the top level page. So how should I move it to John Matthews(writer)? Wikicrawler 06:42, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Click the "move" link above the article to open the moving dialogue page and chance the name of the article. The move also creates a redirect page with the original title; If you cannot find the link, it's in your contributions list or you can find it through "what links here". You can edit this redirect page to turn it into disambiguation page. For further info about moving pages see here - Skysmith 09:49, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Missing article lists
[edit]I have been notified of the existing of your media and journalism missing article list. I am in the process of creating at least one other similar list at Wikipedia:WikiProject Saints/Missing articles, and wonder if you would have either the time or inclination to maybe help with missing articles lists for any of the other projects that exist out there. Thank you for your work and for any response you may see fit to give this. John Carter 18:11, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- I have linked many of my missing topics pages to relevant Wikiprojects (if I could find one) but my resources to help all of them are limited. I have merged some of the information to other missing topics lists (like this). - Skysmith 14:49, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- I am stunned and deeply gratified at the amount of work you have done so far. It does make me feel really puny in comparison, with only one missing articles list so far, and that one still in construction. However, I will find knowledge of the ones you have already created very useful, so that I can avoid redundancy. Thank you for all of your work to date. John Carter 15:03, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Reputation Management
[edit]Peter il Pinguino says: thank you for your clarification. I still believe that the links might be appropriate there, as content-driven reputation sytems are quite general in their applications (even though in the paper we give data only about the Wikipedia). Missing Business and Economics articles
[edit]Skysmith, many thanks for your thanks on my efforts! I've added a few notes tonight, but couldn't make much progress on your list. I think some terms need new categories. --SueHay 01:23, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- That's quite possible. What do you suggest? - Skysmith 13:32, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry so slow in answering. I was away. Last week I noticed that category:companies by industry doesn't cover all industries, so, for instance, funeral industry would be difficult to place. There's a list in North American Industry Classification System that gives you some idea how industries could be classified in Wikipedia. There are also the Standard Industrial Classification and Industry Classification Benchmark (used for the Dow Jones Industrial Average). I'm not sure if we should just be adding industry categories as they occur to us, or if there's some sort of system we should follow for categorization. The category companies by industry doesn't have all that many industries in it but it could get awfully big if it's not made logically hierarchical. I don't think I'm suggesting anything as much as wondering what to do! --SueHay 22:28, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- I think we'd have to include references to those systems (ie. manufacturing NAICS 31-33, SIC 3390, ICB ?) but the safest choice could be to simply put them in alphabetical order. But it may be that you know more about that than I do - Skysmith 09:30, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Missing Articles on Samurai warfare
[edit]Hello Skysmith. Thanks again for compiling this list and for bringing it to our attention. There are certainly some items on there which I was unaware were missing, which is excellent to know, as I can now add them to my own personal "to do" list. I have converted a number of your links to redirects - you're welcome to remove those from your list, I suppose - I didn't want to presume to do such editing on my own within your user space. Many of the items on the list are simply misspellings or alternate spellings, for example "junchi" instead of "junshi", or missing the "no" which is common in older names, e.g. Minamoto no Yoshinaka instead of Minamoto Yoshinaka.
So. I'd be happy to help you continue to figure out which of these links on your list actually refer to things already created under another name, or of course you're welcome to work with it on your own. Keep up the good work! LordAmeth 16:00, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you. Many of the spellings are based on Turnbull (though not all of them). And I do prefer to remove the blue links myself - helps me keep track of progress. - Skysmith 17:16, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
Missing articles list
[edit]Actually, I intend to try to set up missing articles lists for the other "philosophy and religion" articles as soon as I finish the saints list. Unfortunately, with all the calendars of saints we have out there, that might take a while. With any luck, I might be finished with that by the end of the month, although that might be a bit optimistic on my part. John Carter 14:16, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- In my experience, new subjects always seem to appear when you think the list should be finally finished... However, as far as I am concerned, you can use my lists if you are so inclined. Thanks anyway. - Skysmith 14:20, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- I've noticed that myself, but am very much trying to set them up. As noticed above, though, the number of calendars of saints is rather huge in this regard. But my particular focus is more or less on the philosophy/religion articles/projects anyway, and I actually have every intention of getting to those projects and others. Like I said, though, I don't really want to start one other major undertaking while still having others incomplete. John Carter 14:23, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Missing Topics pages
[edit]Hi, there are duplicate lists of missing insect and nematode pages on "Missing topics about Biology" and "Missing topics about Animals". Should I go and unify these lists at the "Animals" page? All other animal page requests are already there, and having 2 different lists for the same topic may be confusing.
I have already done this with the Coleoptera list, but left the code in the "Biology", merely out-commenting it so it won't be shown. I did not want to do such a hefty edit without asking first.
Drop me a line on my Talk page if I can go ahead. Dysmorodrepanis 13:13, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- Ah. User:RCP added those to Biology page a while back and I recommended that he transfer them to Animals page. Afterwards I seem to have forgotten the whole thing. As far as I am concerned, you can merge them. - Skysmith 16:14, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
BBPR
[edit]Hi. I notice you recently moved the article I started, BBPR, to the full names. Apart from the spelling mistake (Banfi, not Banffi), the firm was actually best known simply as BBPR. Most architectural writings refer to them as such. Also, they are listed in this way in the Italian Wikipedia. If you agree, I will revert your move. Mariokempes 17:41, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- Fine with me, but I suggest you retain the (possibly corrected) full-name redirect in case someone tries to search by that name. And could you by any chance help with this? - Skysmith 20:11, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
The global comprehensive encyclopedia
[edit]I saw that you put in the article about the latest game of Beytar Jerusalem a template that means that the subject of the article is not important enough to deserve an article in the English Wikipedia. I assume that you, sir, are not an Israeli, and you didn't hear in none of the newscasts of the English-speaking countries about the event that happened in the end of the game. But the English Wikipedia is not the American Wikipedia, the Wikipedia of the West or the Wikipedia of the English-speaking countries. People who think that this is the English Wikipedia are those who responsible for the disrespect that is demonstrated in the English Wikipedia towards official titles and correct names in languages that are not Germanic or does not written in the alphabet which is used in the English language, that as part of it the "Legal adviser of the government" had been changed to the "Attorney General of Israel", the name that had been written in the article about the legal adviser of the government as "Gid'on Hauzner", as it is pronounced in the original language, had been changed to "Gideon Hausner", the form to which the original name is translated, and not the form to which it is transcribed, to the English language, and in this manner, "Khayim Kohen" had been changed to "Haim Cohen", "Me'ir Shamgar" had been changed to "Meir Shamgar", "Yitskhak Zamir" had been changed to "Yitzhak Zamir", "Mikha'el Ben Ya'ir" had been changed to "Michael Ben Yair", and the list is still long. The English Wikipedia is a global Wikipedia, a comprehensive encyclopedia of the sons of all lands, cultures, religions, nations and countries and their knowledge. We shouldn't suit the English Wikipedia or the information that appears in it to the English-speaking countries, nor to the rules of the so-called "transcription" of the Germanic languages, nor to anything that enlarge the distance between them and the truth and the origin. Please accept my words in tolerance. Es257 06:13, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- After that complex explanation it is hard to say what you actually intended to say. However, I am not American, either, so your comment is mistaken. Many Wikipedia biographies actually have non-English names as a title thought I do not know those you mention. - Skysmith 08:08, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

'Polska (dance)' edit
[edit]I made substantial changes to this entry. My first effort and I am very open to correction. You marked the artical for clean up and I'd be glad to work more. Can you point me to the best focus, for example, a) Provide a simple definition before getting into history, b) Break the article into several separate entries, c) structure the article with headings, d) other. Perhaps best if you could point me to an article of similar scope that better fit the wikipedia model? Cpgruber 16:48, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Contentwise, the article is fine. What it needs is the defition in the beginning, wikification (adding internal links) and the headings you mentioned. For more info you could look at the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. You could also have a look at the Wikipedia:WikiProject Dance - Skysmith 17:44, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Prod summaries
[edit]Just a friendly reminder to use an edit summary when proposing deletion for an article. Edit summary usage is always good, but it is especially important that edit summaries are used when proposing deletion. The reason for this is that articles proposed for deletion that later have the {{prod}} tag removed should not be proposed for deletion again, but rather sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. The only easy way to check if an article was previously proposed for deletion is to look at the edit history and the edit summaries people have left before. Thanks! I've just deleted quite a few articles you prodded, and you don't tend to mention adding the prod in the edit summary. It'd be appreciated if you could bear this in mind in the future. Hiding Talk 23:21, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Recent edits....
[edit]Hello Skysmith and to general people,
I'm new to this so I don't know if I have done the right thing. I just wanted to post a discussion.
I noticed that you recent added an edit (comment) on the article on commodity broking service. I just wanted to say that I have full copyright authorisation to represent that company and all my sources can be backed up and referenced, however I am not a computer programmer and I do not know how to use the sandbox function properly.
Basically, I wanted to post the commodity broking service article in the same format as Saxo Bank, which the company has an alliance with. I have tried to make it a neutral as possible as well. I do know that Saxo Bank is a special project under WikiProject Denmark and because we are allied to them I was hopeing that we can reference them as a 3rd party thus increase the reliability of sources.
I tried to include the company logo as well, but that didn't work.
The category of the commodity broking service is under financial or banking. I don't know how to add that category into sandbox.
I hope you understand and if you or other people can help edit the format of the article it would be great.
Thank you.
Stormlimits.

Re: list of missing topics of Japanese history
[edit]Skysmith, I've added a bunch of notes to your list of missing topics; many items on the list do exist, but are misspelled in your list (e.g. Chikamatzu instead of Chikamatsu) therefore yielding red links and no search results. Missing nobility topics
[edit]Hello. Of the topics you mentioned there are already articles for Duke of Buccleuch, Marquess of Hertford, Marquess of Linlithgow, Isabella of Valois, George Mountbatten, 2nd Marquess of Milford Haven, Henry Stuart, 1st Duke of Albany and Lady Mary Wortley Montagu. I presume by Duke of Gloster you mean Duke of Gloucester? Orders of India - Order of the Star of India, Order of the Indian Empire? I have quite a large database on members of the British peerage. However, my knowledge on court offices and nobility and royalty in other countries is very limited. For help with the other topics I suggest you contact members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Royalty and Wikipedia:WikiProject British Royalty. I hope this can be of some help. Found: Missing Music Articles
[edit]Hi I've located approximately 20 articles that aren't missing after all. Although many are typos as you expected, there is a pattern with the Russian-style names which might be worth checking for elsewhere. Missing the patronyms out located a lot of articles. And there are also variant tranliteration schemes. The best known difference is whether to use a double-f ending or a v. I think you had Rimsky-Korsakoff and the article was Rimsky-Korsakov. --Peter cohen 22:43, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Missing articles request?
[edit]Hello, I was very impressed by your lists of missing articles by subject. I know it's something of a long shot to judge by your subject matter so far, but would it be possible for you to make a missing LGBT articles list? We at WP:LGBT would be very grateful. DevAlt 11:46, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm. I can try but it's going to take some time. I can remember only couple of things I know that Wikipedia does not already cover (couple of writers and one US cartoonist - now paraplegic). And couple of red links I've noticed with dubious validity (like "lesbian rule")... Any suggestions beyond the project? - Skysmith 17:49, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
- I can only think of British eccentrics, and I think that's rather too narrow. :) Please, take your time. We're all volunteers after all. DevAlt 17:28, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your work on the list. I think the guys at WT:LGBT are right, a number of them are really redirects, but some I think we could do with articles on. I will go create redirects of some of them now. What do you normally do then? Remove them and find new articles, or keep them or what? Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 17:17, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit]A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Chad DeKoven, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}

Sockpuppets?
[edit]I saw your comment on the talk page for WP:CVU. Are you trying to imply that Zapsteel and Swirlex are my sockpuppets? Or was it the fact that he edited my comment? If that's the case, then let me explain. I know Zapsteel and Swirlex personally, and I told them about I time when I was a victim of a personal attack by RITZ. As you can imagine, we sort of got off on the wrong foot, and Swirlex's saying that was just a prank between friends. Supernerd 10 23:25, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Your list of "missing topics about music"
[edit]Hello, I'm wondering if I'm misunderstanding this. Most of the articles that you are saying are "missing" are already covered if you use the correct name (ie what most encyclopedias would call these subjects) for the topic in question. I'm wondering if you're suggesting that these are needed redirects? If so, then why don't you add them? Just a friendly question. Gretab 19:40, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- The list is, in effect, what remained after I tried to find proper redirects. So I assumed that the article is missing. Some of those names are full names, some apparently different transliterations (some of them from the 1960s). If people who know more about these things than I do can add redirects to right articles, all the better - Skysmith 20:45, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for your very good answer. I just realized reading this that my own question was very stupid. What I probably should be doing is doublechecking the names and adding appropriate redirects myself! Thank you for doing this work. Gretab 22:00, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

CRD
[edit]You recently undid my changes to CRD and I'm wondering if you would care to discuss this some more. I am new to editing Wikipedia but I really thought I had made a good change. Thats why I'm interested in some discussion. I don't know if you had reverted my changes because they broke some Wikipedia standard or rule in which case ignore this message. My reasoning behind the change was because there is growing mention of common rail diesel in the media outlets. The media refers to it as CRD and says things like wave of the future... 55mpg... not a hybrid... and so on and so forth. When I searched for CRD I got the disambiguation page and in it was a brief definition of common rail diesel but no link to the common rail article. I created a link to the article and went back and studied the other items on the disambiguation. I found that none of the others have good length articles nor have more popularity. So I redirected the page to common rail and setup a link on top of common rail to the disambiguation. As common rail grows in popularity and becomes noticeable on the streets of 2008 I hope that you reconsider your decision. Thank you. --Wasimk 06:32, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Eight Saints = "faulty redirect"?
[edit]Could you please explain your issue with this? Savidan 15:51, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- In my opinion, since the Otto Santi were political positions, they should have their own article, instead of just a redirect to the article of a war that is only nominally connected to them. Not to mention that it was not the contemporary name of the conflict. - Skysmith 17:33, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- So nothing is better than a redirect? I'm going to recreate it with the {R with possibilities} template. In my opinion, there is unlikely to be enough information about the Otto Santi to make up their own article in a manner which would go significantly farther than what would be required in the article about the war (even if a daughter article existed). That it was not a contemporary name is irrelevant; it's used by a lot of historians and people typing it would likely be more pleased with the article about the war than any other content on Wikipedia. Take it to RFD if you have an issue with it. Savidan 18:10, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
James Randi
[edit]Just wondering why you removed the information about Randi's treatment of one of the big names in the psychic community. Wouldn't it be good to have both sides of the story of his one million dollar challenge?
- Because of the usual misinformation circulating within the said community. Nothing new - Skysmith 19:47, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- So because you personally don't believe it you removed it? I thought it was Wikipedia, not Skysmithpedia. Considering the challenge was set out by Randi to people who make supernatural claims, its pretty convinient you can just call anything they say "misinformation" because its "nothing new" there is a difference between rational skepticism and irrational skepticism.
Florence Nightingale was born in Florence, Italy. So categorizing 'People from Florence' is correct.

Hi, it seems that failing to sign in, has put my contribution to Capoeira article at the same level as link spam. But, maybe, by looking in the link I provided: [1], you'll be able to make a better judgment.
The link is probably the only existing wiki project (AKBAN-wiki) that demands no money and sells nothing. They have more then 1000 videos of techniques, out of these 40 Capoeira techniques, or so, were added last week.
I believe it is of value, but as an edit war is out of question, I will abide by your judgment. [edit]Hi there...thanks for all your contributions to Wikipedia. I was just wondering, do you edit your "missing articles" lists? I figure you're probably busy, and also you've got many such lists, so there's not enough time to go through them all...just was wondering, that's all. At any rate, thanks again, and keep up tbe good work. -Tadakuni 17:26, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks,
[edit]Hi, I note that you have reversed vandalism on Ein Hod, thank you! ..However: note that some of the vandalism consists of removing all categories, which is quickly followed by a bot (..stating that the article has no cat)- This makes it difficult to spot the vandalism. Therefore, if you, now and then, check the history of the article it would be great! Thanks again, Huldra 14:09, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Crepuscule
[edit]Hi Skysmith. You added a prod to the redirect Crepuscule, calling it "faulty". I am curious as to your reasoning on this, in particular as it may pertain to WP:REDIRECT#DELETE. Thanks, --Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 13:38, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Requested articles/Business and economics
[edit]Heya Skysmith,
It looks like you've made a lot of edits on Wikipedia:Requested articles/Business and economics but did not leave any description of what you did in the edit summary. It's like coming home from a long vacation and finding the house reorganized and finding sticky notes all over the place. It was a big surprise but thank you for the cleanup and comments! It'd be nice to know "why", but I don't expect an answer, as I believe that is the hardest question ever to answer. :) -- Emana (talk) 18:16, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
PROD: Labor of love (redirect)
[edit]I'm wondering why you feel that Labor of love is a "faulty redirect". A second, minor point is that Redirect should go to WP:RFD rather than being addressed via WP:PROD ... based on a strict interpretation of Wikipedia:PROD#How it works. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 23:18, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

San Theodoros
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article San Theodoros, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of San Theodoros. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 23:23, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
