Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Totnes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Liberal Democrats (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:13, 5 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Charles Sobhraj, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page New York.

(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 06:26, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I had intended to link to the page for New York City, though that link is not essential for the piece. I shall remove the brackets. Sjshart (talk) 08:41, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have been blocked from editing pages when I use my iPad, and no reason has been given, either in my own Talk page or when I try to make an edit. I am told 'There are multiple blocks against your account and/or IP address', but without any detail. It is odd, because I am able to make edits when I use my computer instead. If there is a real problem, please let me know. Otherwise, may I please have the block removed from all equipment. Many thanks, sjshart Sjshart (talk) 11:39, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

The issue seems to be resolved, but I didn't notice that and looked into it. Some of the IP addresses that you're using are registered to VPN services. Since you're using an Apple device, this could be related to Private Relay. Follow these instructions to turn it off you end up on blocked IP addresses again. If you're not using that, and you continue to have problems, check for an app that advertises greater privacy or internet security. A lot of the time, these are just snake oil and don't do much but route your internet traffic through some VPN. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 17:43, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Does your iPad connect to the internet via cell towers or WiFi? 331dot (talk) 13:09, 15 July 2024 (UTC) Hi, 331dot, thanks for your reply. My iPad connects through my home Wifi. (BTW, I was not able to reply to your query on the iPad at all, and on this computer only by adding to this comment, not by using the Reply option.)[reply]

Thanks, 331dot, that seems to be working all right on my iPad now. Best regards sjshart
