If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2008 NRL Finals series. Thank you. A tag has been placed on Brisbane Broncos Toyota Cup Honours, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also want to move the page to EverythingWiki. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 05:34, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

March 2009

[edit]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Template:Nrl2009ladder. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. "Canterbury" was officially dropped ten seasons ago. Please do not continue to vandalise this template.  florrie  07:14, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to National Rugby League season 2009. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. - Please do not remove active templates without an explanation. And while we are at it, again, desist from replacing Bulldogs with Canterbury. Your edits regarding the use of this name is not a content dispute, it is vandalism.  florrie  22:59, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles"

[edit]

A page you created, Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a club or other organization, but it does not indicate how it is important or significant, and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for organizations in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. CTJF83Talk 04:57, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nrl ladder on Brisbane Broncos 2009

[edit]

Is there any particular reason why you keep placing the NRL ladder in full form rather than a template {{nrl2009ladder}} on Brisbane Broncos 2009 article? You can reply here, I will watch, thankyou,  The Windler talk  10:17, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NRL template - again

[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Wests Tigers 2009, you will be blocked from editing.  florrie  22:01, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • The purpose of the {{nrl2009ladder}} template is to make sure that one edit changes the ladder in the multiple articles in which it appears. Please do not substitute this template, at least not until there is discussion and consensus that all the template references should be substituted. —C.Fred (talk) 16:17, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Good Friday Clashes

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Good Friday Clashes, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Useless article, unreferneced, original research, it is not a hoax, but it is not notable enough as a clash to have notability, just a tradition that happens each year but no real significance to it.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  The Windler talk  12:11, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Another attempt

[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to National Rugby League season 2009. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing.

  • Please stop, this is beyond ridiculous. You know how to edit the template {{Nrl2009ladder}} to update it on all linked pages, you've done it plenty of times before 1, 2, 3, - why are you mucking around now? So far you have ignored all attempts to discuss the matter. And get over "Canterbury". Seriously.  florrie  03:45, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeated disruption of the National Rugby League season 2009 article and others with the transcluded ladder template by substituting the template without discussing the edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. —C.Fred (talk) 13:15, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Sydney Roosters 2009

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Sydney Roosters 2009 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 03:11, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NRL ladder

[edit]

May I ask and could you please reply why you repeatedly substitute templates unnecessarily. Do not substitute the template {{nrl2009ladder}} on Brisbane Broncos 2009. You may now be blocked from editing for a period of time.

The purpose of {{nrl2009ladder}} is to avoid the updating of 10 or more ladders used around Wikipedia. If we had 10 substituted ladders, then users would have to update these ladders regularly, and would be annoying. The use of the template mainspace is to enable the use of that template on an endless amount of articles. By having one template, it only has to be update for all transclusions to be updated.

It seems to me, that you substitute the template as to update the version on Brisbane Broncos 2009 because the template is not updated. Perhaps, you should consider updating {{nrl2009ladder}} instead of substituting the one use on Brisbane Broncos 2009. It is considered vandalism to substitute the template now, as you have been warned numerous times.  The Windler talk  00:10, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Also, I believe you used to be User:SJB689 considering similar username and similar editing patterns, and SJB689 created {{nrl2008ladder}} ([1]), so if you are SJB689, then there is no excuse. SJB689, Sbc689, Sjb06, S6j8b9, Sjb1989, Sjb7, Sjb89 and Sjb007 have all edited {{nrl2008ladder}}. Now while I am purely skeptical and nothing is conclusive about these users, I believe you are connected, and you seem to edit this ladder just fine then.  The Windler talk  07:55, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NRL Grand Final names

[edit]

Hi, nice work on the 2006 and 2005 articles that you've created! One minor thing is that the naming format we are gradually moving everything to is for the title to have the year first. So rather than NRL 2005 Grand Final it would be great if you could either create the page at e.g. 2005 NRL Grand Final or turn existing redirects into standalone articles. Thanks! Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Sjb007! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 2 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:02, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013 Brisbane Broncos season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Corey Parker (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
