Stressed, in need of Wiki friends

I’m being mistreated over at the noticeboard. They’ll try to get me for edit warring they haven’t proven, claim I’m incompetent, and reprimand me for being defensive when I’ve had random homophobia accusations thrown at me and been targeted for harassment by an IP. They’ll overlook those, but they claim that my pointing out their own wrong behavior isn’t an argument because I didn’t cite policy. It’s completely unfair--CreecregofLife (talk) 06:37, 25 March 2022 (UTC)

What exactly happened? – SirDot (talk) 14:18, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
Here's the noticeboard section for what's gone on there. I just don't think they understand why they're getting such pushback for how they're trying to portray me. My harasser's contributions, start at the Discovery stuff, jump ahead a month. And for a bunch of additional ignored personal attacks against me, there's here CreecregofLife (talk) 16:38, 25 March 2022 (UTC)

TheDailyBugle.net

Season 3 episode 4. Full title is "A super creature spotted in New York City! Could Dr. Michael Morbius be involved? @nicquemarina reports from the safety of her closet.". You can see it here - DaylyBugle. St least you must privide a source, that it is no part of title before you delete it. Lado85 (talk) 14:07, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

That's just a description from the TikTok account. – SirDot (talk) 17:35, 10 April 2022 (UTC)

Horror film

Dear SirDot I need your help someone vandalized the horror film and history of horror films articles merging the 2010s section and the 2020s section for no reason can you restore the 2010s section and the 2020s section for both articles and make sure for the history of horror films article that you move the list of horror films of the 2020s link back underneath the 2020s section. 23.150.64.24 (talk) 18:20, 15 April 2022 (UTC)

IP That isn't vandalism? –SirDot (talk) 19:18, 15 April 2022 (UTC)

Your Personal Quest to Remove ALL mid/post credit scene mentions on Wikipedia

Personally, I find it to be UTTERLY STUPID! If a scene is in the mid or post credits, it should be addressed as such! It's people like yourself who are RUINING Wikipedia for everyone! Please, grow up or get lost! — Preceding unsigned comment added by David31584 (talkcontribs) 01:19, 16 April 2022 (UTC)

@David31584: I'm not suggesting to remove all mid and post-credit scene mentions on Wikipedia. I reverted your edit because the mid-credit scene, already covered, is connected to the ending and is kinda unnecessary to classify as a mid-credit scene. — SirDot (talk) 01:22, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
I beg to differ! I recently watched the movie and was confused at first as to where that last scene was to take place when the credits started and as to why it wasn't labelled as a mid credits scene, if you see OTHER articles on other movies from both Marvel and DC, you can clearly see that these scenes are listed as such in their synopsis. D31 (talk) 01:29, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
David31584, WP:FILMPLOT, a Wikipedia guideline by the way, states:
  • Mid- and post-credit scenes should generally not be included in the plot summary. Exceptions are made for these scenes if they provide key relevant details for the film itself (the identity of the villain in Young Sherlock Holmes), are part of sourced discussion in the rest of the article (the reuse of the post-credit scene of Ferris Bueller's Day Off) or if the film is part of a franchise and the scene helps establish details for a known future film in production (such as many Marvel Cinematic Universe films).
  • Other stuff existing, such as the MCU and DCEU pages having mid-credit mention, is also not a solid argument per WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS.
  • Editing detail. If you cut the credits, the scene will play immediately after Eddie and Venom go on the run. Not saying mid-credits scenes shouldn't be noted as "mid-credit scenes", just an example. — SirDot (talk) 04:00, 16 April 2022 (UTC)

Thanks

Wow, I completely forgot there was an RFC about this the other day! Thanks for the catch. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:24, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

No worries! – SirDot (talk) 05:39, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

Goblin copyedit

Hi. I'm the anon editor you wrote on the page of. I'm writing you to express my interest in collaborating with you on your Norman Osborn copyedit. I held back on contributing to the mainspace article again since I didn't want to contradict your intentions. While I have no problems with anything I see on your sandbox, I specifically wanted a few more references that pertain to the 2002 film in the thematic analysis section (since there's currently only one) and I wanted a note in the "Legacy" section that Morbius director Daniel Espinosa has expressed interest in having the Goblin interact with Morbius in a future SSU movie. I can submit such material in the talk page first to see if you want to use any of it. I'm also interested in collaborating with you on Doc Ock's article, specifically a characterization and themes section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:46B0:3840:C98C:A214:11E1:36A8 (talk) 08:12, 9 May 2022 (UTC)

Hey, that can work. I'll see what I can do for 2002 analysis #2. You can find the source for the Morbius director wanting Goblin around the references sections of Draft:Adrian Toomes (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and Draft:The Sinister Six (film). I added the Chris Cooper TASM 2 portrayal to balance out and mention further portrayals of Norman/Goblin in film after Dafoe's one. The material you want to be added to either the article or my sandbox, add it to which one you want. (define the references over at the References section if my sandbox) There might be Doc Ock bits over at Spider-Man 2. – SirDot (talk) 08:26, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
Reping. Presumably, editing a user mention does not ping. – SirDot (talk) 08:59, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) FYI, pings don't work with IP users. So if you want to catch their attention you'll need to put a {{Talkback}} notice on their talkpage. InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:15, 9 May 2022 (UTC)

Sonic Part 2

Is a movie about a hedgehog, fox, and echidna, so why did you remove those categories? 2601:98A:201:8C90:0:0:0:F98E (talk) 21:11, 26 May 2022 (UTC)

Moon Knight episode reviews

The last 4 episodes still need reviews added. I think that's all that's holding the finale back from the mainspace and maybe the same for other episodes. Do you want to split the episodes with me and we each do reviews for 2 of the episodes? -- Zoo (talk) 05:13, 14 May 2022 (UTC)

Sounds like a plan. I'll see what I can do. I'll do episode 5 and 6. – SirDot (talk) 06:05, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
Sounds good. -- Zoo (talk) 15:42, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
Don't forget to add that DoG gave Asylum 4.5/5 stars -- Zoo (talk) 01:09, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
Done. – SirDot (talk) 10:17, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
I think we should have at least 4 reviews for each episode. At least that's what I've been doing. 2 reviews per paragraph usually. -- Zoo (talk) 22:52, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
Thumbs up iconSirDot (talk) 22:55, 27 May 2022 (UTC)

Before

You're making edits which are questionable.Pictureperfect2 (talk) 04:39, 4 June 2022 (UTC)

How? MK isn't a movie (Isaac was confirmed to be in the movie, it's a series) and I simply changed the Atlanta linking to [[Atlanta, Georgia]] so it is a singular link. — SirDot (talk) 04:41, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
Listing your wrong edits, I suppose. There is only one major city named Atlanta. You don't seem to listen well. You edit incorrectly and you revert when you shouldn't.Pictureperfect2 (talk) 04:56, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
You are not in the industry. There is no such thing as alters. The term is alter egos. Deadline and other places use this terminology ONLY when they refer to casting. CONFIRMED for a movie or tv show. Not to. You do not know what a doppelganger is.Pictureperfect2 (talk) 04:58, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
Okay, alter egos is not the case for Grant. In the DID system, alters (not alter-egos, also known as personalities) is the term for the multiple identities a person diagnosed with DID has. This is reliably sourced in the article. — SirDot (talk) 05:00, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
One point for you, alters can stay. You are still wrong about every single other thing and how you talked to other users.Pictureperfect2 (talk) 05:05, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
You could link to Atlanta, Georgia while leaving Atlanta in the text. You separate the terms with |.Pictureperfect2 (talk) 05:08, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
Restored the simple Atlanta. Mind elaborating on me how I'm "wrong about every single other thing" though? (except "confirmed to be") Also "how [I] talk[ed] to other users"? Which users are you talking about? — SirDot (talk) 05:11, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
Each of the other reverts. You were debating about credits.Pictureperfect2 (talk) 05:16, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
Confirmed for not confirmed to and confirmed to be.Pictureperfect2 (talk) 05:17, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
Checked my reverts and don't see any debating on credits. (Was it "at the time" being perfectly fine?) Anyway, about the No Way Home reversions, this current plot synopsis was agreed upon at Talk:Spider-Man: No Way Home/Archive 3#Plot copyedits. Start a discussion on the talk page to properly form a consensus on a restoration (you boldly edited, I reasonably reverted, and you can discuss at talk). Have a good day. — SirDot (talk) 05:22, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
