Speedy deletion nomination of Hospitality Management Holding
[edit]Hello Siobhan.mcmorran,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Hospitality Management Holding for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

[edit]On 20 January 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Lygon Arms, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that both Oliver Cromwell and Kylie Minogue have stayed at the Lygon Arms (pictured)?" The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Lygon Arms. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Lygon Arms), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Lygon Arms
[edit]Hello Siobhan, thanks for creating this article! The building clearly seems to be a notable topic, and I've filled out the article by citing the listing, linking to a Wikimedia Commons category and adding some categories.
However, I'm a bit concerned by the sourcing. Much of the information about the hotel's early history seems to have come from the hotel's own branding material, which presumably was not written by a professional historian or by a disinterested author. I've got to be honest, I've reviewed a lot of Wikipedia articles and such information is often misunderstood even if it's not wholesale fabrications. I notice that the listing dates the building to the seventeenth century with no mention of any earlier history, and this local history book dates it to the sixteenth.
Is there any chance we could have some more professional sources, in particular more details of what this 1377 document is and where it can be found, or references to specific biographies of Cromwell or Charles I which discuss their stays? Blythwood (talk) 17:34, 21 January 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of The Croke Park
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Croke Park, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 2600:6C4E:580:46B:0:E653:2549:B879 (talk) 17:10, 27 July 2018 (UTC)

Conflict of interest warning
[edit]Hello Siobhan, thanks for joining Wikipedia! I notice that all your edits are on the topics of various hotels and their management companies, and this leads me to wonder if you have some connection, or "conflict of interest" with them, such as that you are an employee or contractor or being paid for editing Wikipedia to market them. I notice also that you were asked if you have any such connection in December 2017 and July 2018 and did not respond to either message.
If you are editing Wikipedia for commercial purposes this isn't necessarily a problem, but if this is so, you must immediately file a disclosure statement explaining any conflict of interest to ensure transparency-this is indeed a legal requirement that you have already agreed to under section 4 of the Wikimedia terms of service, which both you and your business could face legal action for failing to comply with. Here's an example of what a disclosure statement looks like - but let me know if you have any kind of questions about this, privately by email is fine if you’re having problems.
You should also ensure that all your edits are factual and could not be considered in any way promotional, and are backed up by citations to reliable sources demonstrating them to be true. Please respond to this message before editing Wikipedia further. An automated message explaining this more formally is added below. Hope this is OK, let me know if you have any thoughts or questions.
