I have a draft article in my user sandbox including, amongst other things, categories for the draft article in question. Someone has edited the Sandbox to remove the categories citing USERNOCAT. Is their edit correct? If so, what is the best way for me to keep a full draft including features such as categories?

- The edit's technically correct (article categories shouldn't be used outside the mainspace), but it's rude to just outright remove categories from someone's draft like that; the way to go is to prevent them from including the non-article page. This is either done by commenting them out or by disabling them through adding a colon before the word "category" as in
[[:Category:Example category]]

- You're welcome. By the way, there's apparently now a third way of handling these categories, the all-new {{draft categories}} template created 2 weeks ago that I wasn't aware of. I'll incorporate it into your draft, it's really nice. 78.28.45.127 (talk) 16:38, 20 May 2018 (UTC)
