Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to List of data-erasing software. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 12:10, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Shujakhan88, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Shujakhan88|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. bonadea contributions talk 05:58, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Shujakhan88. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Bitraser, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. - RichT|C|E-Mail 12:55, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

BitRaser moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, BitRaser, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. bonadea contributions talk 05:58, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Bonadea: this draft already exists as Draft:Bitraser (lower case r) which was already declined twice. Maybe the one you just moved to draftspace should be redirected? - RichT|C|E-Mail 06:03, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Insaan1986, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Apology, Clarification

[edit]

Hello, As advised I have added the COI disclosure on my user page, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Shujakhan88 (doing this also put me into trouble as I had another account which was not being used by me but with similar COI disclosure. Finding it really really difficult to not appear like thief and the wiki police behind me) for draft page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:BitRaser Please if you can guide on which citation to be removed, so that I will remove and it will give me a fair idea on those citation allow, so that I can bring similar credible citations. this page talks about a software that has been widely spoken in the media. But just that I am really newbie to really make sense of right citation. Please help on this. Thanks Note: I have been really thrashed on my user page, not because i intend to do something mischievious. It's just that I am caught into my noviceness, my hurry and my impatience. Will try to work on all. Need support!

Blocked for sockpuppetry

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Shujakhan88. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~TNT (she/they • talk) 20:10, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

accepting of the offence and declaring that it was made given lack of knowledge and awareness that creating and editing with multiple user id is an offence. The only reason for unblock could be my request to be given another chance which I am sure if repeated can certainly be undone and my account be re blocked or dumped. I didnt know how to edit, i didnt know how to work out multiple declines and deletions, i only knew that Ican try and change it by creating other ids, and now I really dont know what to say but accept my mistae and offer an apology hoping for an unblock.Shujakhan88 (talk) 20:45, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You admit you didn't know how to edit. Nothing here convinces me you know now. Nothing here convinces me you understand our policies now. Yamla (talk) 12:45, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Unblock Request

Request reason:

Yes, I still have to learn and I still am learning the wiki policies, and I request to not block me just for being new or having little knowledge. My block for being an offense to wiki policies is accepted wholeheartedly by me. I am right now asking for reinstatement and with an honest promise of not indulging in activities like sockpuppetry, or adding advertorial content, or writing without a proper COI on userpage. I urge for reinstatement with a clear understanding that I be blocked if any offence is further noticed. I rest my case here as I have no defense more to present as I have accepted my mistake. Decline reason:

Your best bet is to go six months with zero edits, then apply under WP:SO. Yamla (talk) 11:07, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
