RE: newspaper articles
Generally I use LexisNexis for relatively new articles (since 1990 or so). I have access to the archives of a few big papers (NYT, Washington Post and a few others) via ProQuest and I primarily use ProQuest for articles from before LexisNexis has coverage. I have Factiva but find it doesn't have much that LexisNexis doesn't already have. GabrielF (talk) 20:17, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

Shrike, many thanks for getting me those JSTOR articles. Greatly appreciated, have a beer on me! Simon Burchell (talk) 21:05, 17 July 2012 (UTC) |

No gravedancing
Stay off of Altetendekrabbe's talkpage ... you're certainly not innocent here, and your actions there will merely inflame an already challenging situation. (✉→BWilkins←✎) 12:20, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
Question
Do you know how to set up page archiving on Talk:Babylon (program)? I've seen that on some talk pages, I don't have much time to learn how to do that, at present. Сол-раз (talk) 15:42, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
- I hope I did everything alright--Shrike (talk)/WP:RX 15:48, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
- We'll see. Thanks. What that page really needs is a moderator, since it is so forum-like. Сол-раз (talk) 15:59, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
Agree with you but
At Israeli settlement. The problem with my revert (see my page) was that it eliminated the graph. I gave the editor a few hours to fix the many problems, so the graph at least could stay. Still, I have no objections to your reconfirmation of my original revert.Nishidani (talk) 08:35, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
- The problem is introducing plainly not true information in to Wikipedia and this beyond the of I/P dispute. Also it appear that user knows his way around as evident from his edits--Shrike (talk)/WP:RX 08:37, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

RX templates
Template sounds good. It could be something like "your requests at WP:RX has been fulfilled. please go to (insert section name) to check" but we will need to do some coding/syntax for a template to be able to support "insert section name" in its field. Resolved tag is not a big deal. My major concern is what to do with all the requests that are a) completely unanswered, b) answered but no evidence whether the request person obtained the document (unless we do follow ups), or c) partially fulfilled requests. They're cluttering the page. OhanaUnitedTalk page 07:30, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- Those are pretty complex. We don't need something as complicated. Let me find some after I wake up in the morning (it's 3:30am at the moment) OhanaUnitedTalk page 07:34, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- I took a look and we could borrow the codes from {{Uw-vandalism1}} (or any other user warning messages) OhanaUnitedTalk page 04:05, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
- Sure, that seems reasonable. As for the month, I don't think it's a big deal since there're only 12 months in a year (not a deal-breaker if there's no bot doing so). OhanaUnitedTalk page 01:28, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
- But stalled requests and filled requests go to different page. And the bot needs to be able to identify which section is marked with resolve before archiving (it can run once a day). OhanaUnitedTalk page 17:24, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

Writing via my cell which doesn't support PDF reading. If you don't want them to hang out seen for everyone that long, you can email me, so that you don't have to worry about it. If it's fine... Then you're warned :-)
