There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the
button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.

- I believe that there is a backlog as there are a lot of new drafts and not a lot of volunteers going through it, however I'm not aware of the timeframe. Before you even start, make sure that you do your research on Wikipedia policies on what makes a subject notable (see WP:NOTABILITY) and how you can show that using reliable sources (see WP:RS). Your article will go nowhere if it fails those two. Also, be aware of our conflict of interest and advertising policies. Best of luck! Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:42, 9 August 2024 (UTC)

how long does it take to get a submission looked at please? or is it just going to sit there forever?

- Hi @Sumanuil I've been reaching out for help for the last few weeks to fix the edits needed and haven't got any replies from my mentor or anyone so I tried to fix it myself. If you could please review as I have been studying all day how to do it and praying i got it right. if you see my talk page I keep reaching out and haven't meant to upset anyone i just wanted to fix it thats all and i hope I have done it right if you could please let me know.
