Speedy deletion nomination of 포항공대 싸이트 즐겨찾기

[edit]

Hello Shengzhi86,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged 포항공대 싸이트 즐겨찾기 for deletion, because it doesn't seem to have any encyclopedic content.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, dci | TALK 01:17, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Solid State Device (IIT Madras) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Eeekster (talk) 01:54, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that you have been reported at the administrators' vandalism intervention board. dci | TALK 02:00, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to me that "vandalism" is the wrong word here, as I see no evidence that you intend to do any harm. However, you seem to have misunderstood the nature of Wikipedia. I am not sure what the articles you created were supposed to be for, but they certainly did not look at all like encyclopaedia articles. Since there was no explanation to readers of what they were for, I wonder if they were not, in fact, intended for readers of the encyclopaedia, but were for your own use. If so, you need to realise that Wikipedia is not a free web host for you to store pages for your own use. Also, your user page is questionable. While we do allow a considerable amount of leeway in user pages, the content of such a page should essentially relate to you as a Wikipedia editor. Your user page seems to be a CV/resume, without any reference to contributing to the encyclopaedia. Once again, Wikipedia is not a free web host, and must not be used for hosting a personal page, unrelated to the encyclopaedia, for a user who is not contributing to the encyclopaedia. If you do, in fact, intend to contribute, and you have unfortunately got off to a bad start because of a limited amount of understanding of how Wikipedia works, then I do hope my remarks will not discourage you, which is certainly not my intention. I am posting a "Welcome" message below. This contains links to various pages which may help you to have a better idea of how Wikipedia works. Don't try to read and learn all of it before you do any editing, as there is far too much there. However, do have a look at the pages which seem to be most relevant to your needs. Finally, please feel welcome to contact me on my talk page if you have any questions. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:32, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
