Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Kinross, Western Australia, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ~Matticus TC 10:37, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Mrd.jpg listed for deletion

[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Mrd.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. ~Matticus TC 10:39, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to 4th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment. Your edits have been automatically marked as unconstructive/possible vandalism and have been automatically reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: 4th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment was changed by Sharkshoooter (c) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2007-11-13T10:42:07+00:00 . Talk pages

[edit]

Please use user talk pages to communicate with other editors, not their user pages. Thank you. ~Matticus TC 11:13, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, now you've got it. Please remember to sign your comments on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~) after them though - it makes it easier to see who's saying what. Thanks. ~Matticus TC 11:17, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am not a vandal

[edit]

i just do not know how to properly use this site and what was wrong with my picture? have u got a "personal problem" with me, will i now have you embuggering me everytime i make an edit? can you not tolerate Humor? :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sharkshoooter (talkcontribs) 11:17, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to learn how to use Wikipedia properly, I have put some useful help page links at the top of this talk page. I have no personal problem with you, but your edits were not helpful - Wikipedia is here to document things which are notable and of interest to the world at large, not for people to write what they think about their friends, teachers, boss, etc. As much as someone might be important to you, it doesn't mean the rest of the world is interested in reading about it, or that any information you add can be verified (this is of paramount importance) - this is why Wikipedia has notability guidelines. The same goes for the picture - Wikipedia is not here to host pictures that cannot be realistically used in Wikipedia articles. If you want to make test edits to try out the MediaWiki interface and markup, there's the sandbox. If you just want to make jokes, there's Uncyclopedia for that. ~Matticus TC 11:30, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  1. Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
