The article Latest News Worldwide has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

What is this? An unencyclopedic list of selected news topics?

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing dated prod will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Boing! said Zebedee 10:02, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You said, on the Latest News Worldwide page, "no it is a list of new information about general knowledge which could be useful"

That describes a large part of Wikipedia in general. However, the English language Wikipedia currently has over 3 million articles, and new information should go in the relevant articles (eg, if you have new info to add about Bollywood, it should go in the Bollywood article, etc). We simply can't have a single page for "new information about general knowledge which could be useful". -- Boing! said Zebedee 11:50, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Latest News Worldwide, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Please use talk pages, please read guidelines

I have pretty clear instructions on my talk page and user page for contacting me, so it's really not encouraging that you blanked my userpage. We've explained over and over again why your page creations were deleted. You have a welcome on your page with links to policies and guidelines, so it would be very helpful if you would read them before creating anything else. Hi, I'm talking about your most recent Latest News article, but I'm posting it here rather than on the article's talk page so it isn't lost when the article is inevitably deleted again. People have already explained the problems with all of your previous articles that were deleted, and I think you really need to listen to what we are saying. Basically, there are two big problems...

Firstly, personal "news channels" just aren't the way Wikipedia works, and are contrary to Wikipedia's policies - see WP:NOTNEWS and WP:OR for some guidelines.

Secondly, in an encyclopedia with over 3 million articles, a single article with some bits of information about various unrelated subjects just doesn't make any sense. If you have, for example, new information about Bollywood, it should go in the Bollywood article. Same with Wrestling, and all the others.

I suggest you simply stop trying to add all this, because if you continue you really will only waste even more time. Instead, perhaps spend some time just reading about the subjects you're interested in. Get a feel for how encyclopedias in general work, and how this one specifically works by reading about its policies - there are some useful links in the "Welcome" message above. After that, you might be ready to try making small improvements to existing articles, and then take it from there. Best of luck, and best regards.

Latest News was deleted yesterday, and you've recreated it again, so...

A tag has been placed on Latest News, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Hi there, looks like you want to contribute updates about latest current events to Wikipedia. In that case, please contribute to Portal:Current events, instead of creating a new page. utcursch | talk 10:26, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. Tonywalton Talk 10:31, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you are receiving regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, such as Worldwide News, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. -- Boing! said Zebedee 11:42, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

<<hangon>> it is is me if you dont like my page then dont look at it because i have some poeple who do like it and i am really getting tired of you deleting my pages now do yourself a favour and me and look at other pages because this page is more useful than all your pages put together so dont delete it.

You can't justify the existence of a page on Wikipedia just because you personally know some people who like it. Wikipedia isn't a free-for-all blog, and people are not free to add whatever they like with the justification "If you don't like it don't read it". New articles need to adhere to Wikipedia's rules and polices, and yours does not. The policies you keep breaking have been explained to you a number of times - please see my detailed explanation above, and follow the links you have already been given to help you understand Wikipedia article creation. It has been suggested that you should consider Portal:Current events if you wish to add "latest information", so I really do suggest you try there. But if you keep ignoring our friendly attempts to help you understand Wikipedia, and carry on recreating these pages like this, others will keep deleting them, and you probably will end up with your account blocked if you don't stop. You definitely can contribute constructively to Wikipedia, and I really hope you do so, but it most be done in accordance with the appropriate policies. Your contributed article, Worldwide News

[edit]

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Worldwide News. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - :. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at : - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Quantpole (talk) 13:01, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

I have blocked you from editing Wikipedia for a day in order to get your attention.

You are repeatedly recreating the same article that does not fit in with Wikipedia's guidelines for inclusion. We've given you advice about this, but you've ignored it and gone on the attack instead. This is not the way to get things done here.

Spend the day you have off editing reading the following links. Then, having read the links, you can come back and edit collaboratively without the disruption. If you don't follow this advice, the next block you get will be permanent. Okay?

Welcome!
