Good Article nominations

I noticed that you have nominated a couple of professional wrestling article for Good Article reviews lately. At Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling, we have a procedure we like to follow before nominating articles. We place them on a one-week waiting list and ask for other project members to look over the article. This helps to ensure that all of the articles we nominate are ready to be nominated and don't have any obvious problems with sourcing, prose, etc. If you would like to nominate an article, it would be great if you could give a week's notice at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Professional wrestling and list it at Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling#Waiting list. I would hold off in nominating Glen Jacobs for GA status. The article needs tons of work. Here are some things to fix:

• The lead needs to be expanded to about three full paragraphs summarizing his entire career. See Triple H or Amy Dumas for an example.
• It needs a thorough copy edit.
• There are several WP:MOS problems.
• Other media needs to be taken out of list form and turned into prose.
• There needs to be more about his life away from wrestling (like personal life).
• The article needs to be trimmed of week by week and non-notable feuds.

Yes, making two minor edits to Glen Jacobs is not enough mainspace. Looking at all of your contribs (about 150 total) there are 20 or less mainspace edits, so the warning was needed. King iMatthew 2008 23:12, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

I agree with iMatthew. If you do start contributing constructively to the mainspace (wikipedia articles), then ask me again to renovate your userpage. I've removed Glen Jacobs and World Wrestling Entertainment from the waiting list at WP:PW, as they are not ready for GA yet. If you'd like to nominate articles for GA, you should work on them first, and make sure they meet the GA criteria. Take a look at some of our good articles for examples of a GA.
