November 2019

Hello, I'm Contributor321. I noticed that you made one or more edits to an article, University of Alabama at Birmingham, concerning the updates of review statistics, box office numbers, sports statistics, or some other frequently updated data with a fixed web address, but you did not update the |access-date= parameter in the citation template. The |access-date= parameter is the full date when the content pointed to by the URL was last verified to be working and supporting the text being cited in the article. This means that the parameter needs to be updated whenever the content is updated. The reason left by DGG was: This submission is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: This is an advertisement, not a Wikipedia article. It very much resembles what would be a web page for the School.

The draft uses exaggeration and puffery not just to the point of absurdity, but to the level of inaccuracy:

I. #20 in tihe nation of Physical Therapy Schools. #25 for Occupational Therapy Schools., #37 for Physicans assistant, is not "among the best in the nation" when the rank is not one of the top 2 or 3, it is not noteworthy, however the list may be worded. All ratings are to some degree puffery, and any that are really important belong in a small section at the bottom of the article. Putting this in the introduction is deceptive.

II. every program that can be ranked is ranked" means only that it is not among the really low quality ones at the very bottom.

III. "top young university in the nation" is equally meaningless, as top universities are not generally young ones.

IV. Listing the multiple professional certifications as affiliations in the infobox is not the purpose of the box, which is to highlight a few basic facts. That a university's programs are certified does have to be stated somewhere, because the very lowest or newest sometimes are not, but it is not a basic distinction.

V. "for entry into one of the fastest growing occupational sectors." is puffery. "Students gain a comprehensive understanding of ...." is what every academic course about anything says about itself; ditto for "to disseminate technology development through education, training and collaboration with private sectors.["

VI.Listing multiple tracks within a degree program is suitable only on your website, and this applies even more to lists of courses for each degree , especially when they are perfectly standard and nondistinctive.

...I could continue, but this shows the problem.

What would belong here, and what matters, and is of general interest in an encyclopedia , is a list of current of past members of the faculty who are notable enough tat they have articles inWikipedia. The same is true of alumni.
