A Few Quick Notes
[edit]Hi! Thanks for working on expanding some the anime/manga company articles. You might notice I came behind and did a little modification to some of your edits though, and I wanted to explain a little further. When putting a date in an article, only a full date, such as March 12, 2008, should have wikilinks added. This is done so the date will format per a registered user's prefences. Partial dates, like "March 2008", and standalone months or years like "In March" or "In 2008", should not be wikified as months and years are common terms. This is in keeping with the Wikipedia MoS for dates. Also, when including the title of an anime series, manga series, or any other television series, film, or book, the title should be italisized. :) I look forward to seeing your future contributions! -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 20:27, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Notability Tag Spamming
[edit]Why are you spamming so many h-anime articles with the notability tag? Many of which, it seems, are perfectly as notable as any movie or TV series (Lyon Flare, Angel of Darkness, Beat Angel Escalayer). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sevds (talk • contribs) 14:27, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- I am tagging articles that appear to fail the notability guideline because of a lack of third-party coverage. In fact, many of them do not have a single source. It is part of the standard cleanup procedures to tag articles with notability issues. Such tagging it to encourage other editors to provide the sources that demonstrates notability, thus improving the article. Just because it is an anime doesn't mean that it automatically receives notability. TV and movies become notable because they are reviewed by reputable reviewers for newspapers or magazines. The same can't be said for hentai anime series. --Farix (Talk) 21:04, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- I'm trying to figure out why you did this only for hentai series, some that are very clearly notable. Beat Angel Escalayer has been released in the US and is based on a game and has sources in the article, that, alone, makes it notable enough.
- Because the article did not state why it was notable nor did it have any references by reliable sources that would permit the article to pass WP:NOTE. If there are no third-party reliable sources cited by the article, then the subject isn't obviously notable. Also, just because it has been released the US doesn't mean an anime/video game is notable. I'm also less incline to support an adaptation from video game to anime without further courage by independent sources. As to why start with the hentai articles, you have to start somewhere. But also, there is a smaller set of hentai articles, which makes sorting through them easier. --Farix (Talk) 23:15, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- Besides, if something is "clearly notable," then it shouldn't be a problem citing the reliable sources that demonstrate that notability. --Farix (Talk) 23:56, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Cobracover.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Cobracover.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NanohaA'sYuriTalk, My master 03:49, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Gall Force DVD Cover.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Gall Force DVD Cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 00:26, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Sevds! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 260 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Katsuhito Akiyama - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Proposed deletion of Metal & Lace: Battle of the Robo Babes
[edit]The article Metal & Lace: Battle of the Robo Babes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- NN game
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The Dissident Aggressor 00:54, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
