Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, SeluxRedaktion, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

we are representing the official editorial office of the company. We are now working on all sources and references to publish really authentic staff.

Decline reason:

That's inappropriate. See WP:PAID, WP:PROMO, and WP:COI. Note, though, that the only reason for this block is your inappropriate username. Please pick a new username. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

SLXwriter is obviously still intended to represent your company; try again. Just Chilling (talk) 13:24, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Is it ok to use a kind of metaphorical name like "Lichtgestalten"? SeluxRedaktion
'Lichtgestalten' 'Light design' is also promotional. If you want a metaphor 'Lichtschwert' is available! Just Chilling (talk) 18:02, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. Nomination of Selux for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Selux is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Selux until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Cabayi (talk) 13:29, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It is ok to use German sources for English wiki page? there are a lot of German references. SeluxRedaktion

! Please don't delete anything until tomorrow evening, since we have to leave for now and will continue to work on it tomorrow. We will read all the guidelines in even more depth and will work on detailed sources. Thanks! SeluxRedaktion 13:37, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • It's a week-long discussion, so nothing is going to happen immediately. Don't panic! On the other hand, the longer you leave it before improving the article, the more Delete !votes will likely have been cast.
  • "we" - part of the problem with the username, besides representing the company, is that it seems to be a shared account. Using names which indicate the company or its business, or which suggest shared use, or use of "we" will only cause you more problems.
  • German sources are OK - not brilliant - but definitely OK.
Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 13:45, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I've speedy deleted this obvious company spam, unsourced, but looks like a copyright violation. You have a conflict of interest when editing this article, and you must declare it whatever user name you use. Since you work directly or indirectly for the company, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. Regardless, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:SeluxRedaktion or any replacement. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=SeluxRedaktion|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please provide the required disclosure.
