Sprecher von Bernegg moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Sprecher von Bernegg, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. - CASSIOPEIA, If you would've looked, you could've seen that it has a link to the German article. The only reason it exists is because User:Wbm1058 created the page as a redirect from the disambiguation before I could translate the German article, and it was too much of a hassle to request a deletion for me to just create it again. Again, if you just looked at how there was a link to the German Wiki for the same article, you could've seen that it is in fact a notable house of European royalty. ----Schwiiz (talk) 13:08, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Schwiiz, Good day. Thank you for writing to me on the abovementioned. Wikipedia sister sites (diff languages) operate independently from each other, for such, each has their own guidelines and policies. For such what is accepted in DE Wikipedia might not be accepted in EN Wikipedia main space. I moved the page to draft space because the page was no sourced. Article content need to be supported by independent, reliable source (pls provide 3 sources) for verification. Sources would be in any languages (you would use the source from DE Wikipedia). Once you have done that, click the submit button for review. As the backlog for new page or article for creation is huge, it might take a little while for the reviewers to get to you page. If you want you can ping me when you have provided the source and I will do it to at soonest. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:20, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry if it comes off as rude, CASSIOPEIA, but I don't think you understand why the page was made. It wasn't supposed to be created, but Wbm moved the page to the location and created a redirect, of which it shouldn't have even existed there. Also, my point of the German Wiki was that it IS notible, and that I am currently translating/writing an English version of that German article. I also will not be using the review system, as no other page I have created has needed a watching eye on it. Again, sorry if it comes off as rude, I just like giving the details, and I feel it comes off as rude sometimes, I mean you no disrespect. Cheers, --Schwiiz (talk) 18:32, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Schwiiz, Greetings and thank you for your explanation above. I understand the subject (topic) is notable. However, in regardless the page was created via redirect or created anew by any editor, the article still needs to have independent reliable sources to backup the content claimed for verification. All the article needs is to add sources to it. I think THIS-1 and THIS-2 would explain better than what I have tried above. In all, we, the Wikipedian community, appreciate your contribution especially for those like you taking the time to translate pages from other sister sites to EN Wikipedia. Cheers. Hello, Schwiiz. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, Draft:Sprecher von Bernegg family.
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it. — JJMC89 (T·C) 01:30, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Thilmany Ahlstrom.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Thilmany Ahlstrom.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 18:30, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:User Sabaton Fan.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:User Sabaton Fan.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://web.archive.org/web/20170310211817/http://fungyung.com/sabaton-wallpapers.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Ирука13 11:39, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 2
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Thilmany, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joseph Thomas. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Hello, I'm Sumanuil. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Thilmany, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 01:43, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
