Exter in der englischen WP
Hallo Schwede 66.
Danke.Schwede66 (talk) 21:46, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Alles bestens ... --Gwexter (talk) 15:45, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Avon Rivers in New Zealand
Hi Schwede66, just a note to say that i've moved the pages on the two Avon Rivers in New Zealand to comply with New Zealand page naming conventions - when NZ rivers need to be disambiguated, the pages always take the form "Foo River, Region", never "Foo River (Region)". Grutness...wha? 22:52, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, sorry. After I had done everything, I came across some discussion on naming conventions and thought 'oops'. Thanks for fixing it. And thanks for the redirects. Schwede66 (talk) 23:18, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
- Any time. BTW, I've redirected Avon River, New Zealand to the Canterbury one and used a hatnote to link to the Marlborough one. The river that runs through Christchurch is definitely the primary topic of the two. Grutness...wha? 00:33, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, I can see what you've done to the various pages and redirects. Good to know that that's how it's done. Still only dabbling with WP really. Schwede66 (talk) 01:18, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Cycle Friendly Awards
These Cycle Friendly Awards; are they handed out by SPARC or CAN? Abductive (reasoning) 07:56, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- Have shifted the page to my user page - it wasn't anywhere ready for publication. I created it in the wrong spot. Schwede66/Cycle Friendly Awards is where it's now. I'll clarify this.
- I've created worse. The awards definitely have lots of stories in newspapers, so don't let anybody tell you they aren't notable. Abductive (reasoning) 21:11, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- The Cycle Friendly Awards page has now been published. Schwede66 (talk) 21:37, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park nomination
Ahh I see, now I understand how it works. Thanks for explaining. --Rochelimit (talk) 11:51, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

Christchurch meetup
Hello to all Christchurch based Wikipedians. It must be high time that we all got out from behind our computers and had a meetup. Somewhere with free wireless access would be ideal so we can get our caffine/sugar/alcohol/nutrient fix along with our Wikipedia fix!! Reply at Wikipedia:New Zealand Wikipedians' notice board#Christchurch meetup. Please let any other Chrischurch Wikipedians who not listed at Category:Wikipedians in Christchurch know of this event. Cheers. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 08:43, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
Kopu Bridge
Hi there. Have a look at Kopu Bridge and if you feel like it, maybe you can suggest it at WP:Did you know for me. I know you are allowed to do your own submissions, but still... Cheers, Ingolfson (talk) 07:08, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for asking - it's been my pleasure. Done! The fact that I nominated wasn't actually stated in the given references, so I will add a source that I could find on the Transit website. Also, there should be a space between digits and SI units. Schwede66 18:18, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- Have you seen the DYK feedback? Schwede66 16:48, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for nominating it - sadly, I don't think I can drag out enough material to make those remaining 1.2 multipliers (or make myself drag enough stuff up). Might feel a bit forced and padded in the article too. Ah well, it's okay. Thanks in any case! Ingolfson (talk) 08:55, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- I didn't check the word count myself, but it looked sufficient to me. So the feedback came as a bit of a surprise. A good article anyway! Schwede66 09:01, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
NZ naming convention - Breaksea Island
No worries, Schwede66. Thanks for letting me know. Cheers. Maias (talk) 00:33, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
Mangarewa bridge
Saw the image you uploaded on Commons. Are they really planning such a massive bridge just for the cycle trail? Only way this could be anywhere in the budget would be a swing bridge, and even then it would be COSTLY! (probably have to be enclosed, too - what with the depth...). Cheers Ingolfson (talk) 06:59, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
Hiya. You need to fix your request as you have the standard template in producing lipsum. Ta! Pedro : Chat 21:41, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
- As it goes, I've added te rollback flag anyway as you can clearly use the bit, but you still may want to fix the request! Pedro : Chat 21:46, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. Have added the reason. I'm not sure what happened there. I've copied the line as per the instructions and then filled out the text. I assumed the lipsum displayed because the page is currently semi-protected. Schwede66 21:51, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
- No probs. I think you left the {{lorem}} template in, but - hey - who cares! Happy to add the flag for you and thanks for your cracking contributions! Pedro : Chat 22:05, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

David and Alison Wright
Hi Schwede66 I was responsible for the articles on Alison Wright and David Wright - a husband and wife team I thought deserved mention on wikipedia for their sporting achievements. I thought Alison Wrights material was sufficently referanced. But if not could you assist with what additional information you require. As far as David Wright is concerned I have spoken to him and he knows of no incorrect information and certainly nothing defamitory in the item on him. I would be grateful for any further clarification on what needs to be done to clean up that post.
- Thanks for getting back to me, MoragCopland. I'll reply on your talk page. I can show you the ropes - no problems. Schwede66 18:03, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

We talked about that recently. Technically, they are actually twice-removed from the Ministry of Tourism. Worth approaching over the cycleway at some stage though, I think. Ingolfson (talk) 10:15, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

Provinces of New Zealand
Guten tag! Yes, you're right that the map is inaccurate. Perhaps an animated GIF of the provinces by establishment/disestablishment date? I can do SVGs for each period, but that wouldn't help in terms of understanding how the provinces came into being. --Lholden (talk) 01:13, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- Something like this [1]? --Lholden (talk) 01:16, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- Wouldn't that be nice? Let me know if you want me to do anything (e.g. draft the words that go with the graphics). Schwede66 02:33, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- If I get a chance I'll do something over the weekend. --Lholden (talk) 04:36, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- Nice one! I've never played with gifs, so don't know what controls speed. In some of the slides, there's a lot to take in. Is it possible to slow the show down a bit? Maybe half the current speed? But only if it's not too onerous. Schwede66 08:47, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, will do. --Lholden (talk) 09:43, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Looking even better now. Well done!
I see that you once posted something about elections in the Provinces. I've got it on my agenda to look into Provinces in more detail. We should have a lot more detail on this. I'll put some thoughts together on WP:NZG at some point. Schwede66 09:55, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
Re:Bishop Julius Hall
Whoops, I just looked at the name, and thought that Hall was a surname. Thanks for that! :) Adabow (talk) 09:10, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

re:DYK
No problem, I only added infobox, parlbox and succession boxes - more visually enhancing rather than informatively so. Anyway, why is Francis James Garrick not bolded in the DYK, but the other three are? Adabow (talk) 09:58, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
- That article is a few weeks old already. When I wrote it, I had no idea about his brothers in law. It was only when I worked my way through Peacock's history that I realised that. Anyway, Francis James Garrick was a double-DYK, too, as his brother James Francis Garrick was an MP as well, just in another country. That ended up being an interesting hook.
