Overlinking
[edit]I have reverted a few of your edits, at Naigaon, for overlinking - so I have come to explain the reason.
As explained at WP:OVERLINKING we do not add circular links back to the same page, and we only link the first use of a term in an article, and we do not normally link:-
- Everyday words understood by most readers.
- Names familiar to most readers, including;- major countries, major cities, major languages, major nationalities/ethnicities and major religions
- Common units of measurement and dates
There are many articles where these are already, incorrectly, linked; however, city, north, south, east and west are clearly common words, and are not capitalized (unless they are at the beginning of a sentence) and India is a major country, so should not be linked - Thanks - Arjayay (talk) 15:20, 27 November 2021 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 27
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cuisine of Odisha, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fish curry. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:00, 27 January 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Biju Janata Dal, you may be blocked from editing. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 15:57, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
Hey, the citations given from the ref states the given edits. Can check on those and give the party manifesto a look. The word economic liberalisation is stated in there. Sawantmumbaikar (talk) 11:57, 29 January 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Kiran891. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Borivali, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Kiran_891 (TALK) 21:58, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Borivali. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Kiran_891 (TALK) 17:16, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Borivali does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Kiran_891 (TALK) 17:17, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Mumbai City district, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Kiran_891 (TALK) 17:22, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Eastern Suburbs (Mumbai), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Kiran_891 (TALK) 17:27, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
Hey kiran! The Mumbai linguistic census report claims certain suburban sprawls in the northern suburbs and western suburbs are predominantly gujaratis while not mentioning any claims of other ethinic background have no to little presence, they do, Borivali, Vile Parle and Ghatkopar are considered as the Gujju zone of the city. Regarding one of your edit summaries at Mira Road
[edit]Hi! I came across edits to Mira Road while watching recent changes, and saw that you were accusing another editor of sockpuppetry. That's a pretty serious allegation to throw at someone in an edit summary, and I'd recommend taking the accusations to WP:SPI if you have solid evidence. Otherwise, there's not really a reason to accuse others of sockpuppetry unfounded over what seems to be a content dispute. I've warned the other editor in question for ownership of an article.
