The article Cranium Browser has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable software. Does not meet WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kolbasz (talk) 09:32, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- Regarding Speedy Deletion
- Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia.
- I'm sorry, but this has been deleted as meeting one or more of the Categories for Speedy Deletion.
- Generally, articles are speedily deleted when there is no assertion of significance or they fall into things to avoid or what Wikipedia is not.
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written about the subject.
- Sometimes articles are deleted because they contain content copyrighted elsewhere. Such content can be used as a source of information, but the content here must be completely rewritten from scratch.
- Any deficiencies with notability, sourcing, or things to avoid should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.
- If you want to try again, consider using the Article Wizard to guide you through the creation process and use the following links to find sources.Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

COI
[edit]Hello, Saurabhsuresh4s. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Cranium Browser, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Kolbasz (talk) 09:32, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Saurabh Suresh
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Saurabh Suresh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Kolbasz (talk) 09:43, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
Autobiography
[edit]Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Saurabh Suresh. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Kolbasz (talk) 09:43, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making nonconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Cranium Browser with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Thank you. – Zntrip 10:17, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Hi Saurabsuresh4s
[edit]Dear Saurabhsuresh4s,
welcome to Wikipedia! I'm sorry your first articles have been deleted. Please do not create any more articles about yourself or your software, because such articles will be deleted again. This is why:
- First, all Wikipedia articles must be about subjects that are notable. This basically means that other people must have "noted" the subject, and written about it in newspapers, books, or on major, reliable websites. Personal websites, blogs, Facebook and Twitter don't count.
- Second, we should never write about subjects we are closely involved with. This means that we shouldn't create articles about ourselves or things we have created. If a person is notable, or has created a notable piece of software, somebody who is independent of that person will create an article about them sooner or later.
Finally, please read this information for young editors, and don't post your email address to Wikipedia pages, ever. At best you risk being spammed by a million spam robots that pick up your address from Wikipedia, and at worst you put yourself at personal risk. This is true for all editors, but in particular those who are young.
Have fun, and happy editing! If you have questions about how to edit, or anything else to do with Wikipedia, you could visit the teahouse where lots of friendly experienced editors are happy to answer questions from newer members of the editor community.
All the best, --bonadea contributions talk 10:32, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Once again you have added your email address to a Wikipedia page. Please don't do that! It is not allowed in Wikipedia, and it creates more work for the people who have to remove it so it can't be seen by anybody. Please do not add your email address to Wikipedia again. And please click on this link and read the information there. Thanks! --bonadea contributions talk 12:56, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
