Breast cancer classification

Hi, some mix up in this edit; papillary is in no way related to nipple. Can you please fix it? I would not want to revert the whole edit just because of a few glitches.Richiez (talk) 20:26, 21 April 2012 (UTC)

Sorry about that, the disambiguous page said papilla was related to nipple so I was just going by that. But for future reference it would probably be easier if you just went in and fixed that type of thing yourself manually, especially if your an expert on the subject.Sarahj2107 (talk) 21:13, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
Could have fixed the nipple thing but it was pretty many changes in one edit so another pair of eyes is good in case I have not spotted all problems. Richiez (talk) 10:14, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

Mohabbat Ke Dushman

Hi, Mohabbat Ke Dushman is a Bollywood movie and not an article of living people. Torreslfchero (talk) 17:41, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, I thought it was about a director, I must be seeing things. Thanks for letting me known, i've removed the tag.Sarahj2107 (talk) 17:46, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
Mistakes do happen sometimes. Thanks for removing the tag.Torreslfchero (talk) 17:51, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

A7 is a tricky category - but if you remember that there are two basic divisions of it, it's easier. One division is people - including companies, underwater embroidery groups, charities, bands (but not rubber bands), Churches (but not St Ethelfroth's on Acacia Avenue which is a building, unlike The Church of the Sixth Reincarnation which is a lot of people and a dogma they don't really understand), and similar. People includes named animals like Gertie the dancing turtle, but not the ninja hamster Hamsterus ninjaensis which is a species. The other division is web content. This includes greataukbrowser.com, a website, but not the Great Auk browser itself, which you can download for £49.96 but which is used on your computer. The tag here is me and them. If it's to be used on my computer, it's a product and not a7. If it stays on their computer somewhere in Upper Rubovia, it's web content and a7 applies. I declined your speedy request - have another go. If you can't think of a speedy, try prod. If you haven't got Twinkle yet, it's a good idea to get it. Makes prod and AfD simple. Always willing to help with queries. Peridon (talk) 14:48, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

This one has a confusing title - there are many companies called things like Three Gerbils Software, but this one is actually the product name not the company. Peridon (talk) 14:50, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
I am using Twinkle, I must have clicked on the wrong category. I still think it isn't notable though so I will find a better tag. Thanks for pointing out my mistake.Sarahj2107 (talk) 14:55, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

Hi, I've nominated this for speedy deletion--it appears the subject keeps attempting to introduce an article about himself. If you think his importance is established, feel free to remove the speedy template. Thanks, 99.12.242.126 (talk) 20:26, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

Kim Weston

Sarah...What happened to the photo I just uploaded? And why am I not able to remove the link from AllMusic.com containing inaccurate information? (Steve Huey @ AllMusic has Kim's middle name wrong, information about the history of the song "Dancing in the Street" is wrong, as is the mention of a release of an lp, "Talking Loud" in 1992, which never took place.)

Can you help me to place the photo within the article, please?

Thank you,

~Erik/ Kim Weston Fan Page (Authorized source from a close, personal friend of Kim Weston.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Weston.kim1220 (talkcontribs) 16:32, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

The reason I reverted your edit was because you just removed the reference list and {{reflist}}tag. This can create problems on the page. If you feel the AllMusic.com source is inaccurate then you can remove the individual references to it in the main part of the text, but remember to give a reason for their removal in the edit summary so other editors know why.
As for the photo, where did you upload it to? If you place [[Image:filename|thumb]] on the page and replace 'filename' with the name of your photo (photo.jpg) for example), then it should show up. Replace 'width' with a number (eg. 250). If you have any problems just let me know and i'll try to help.Sarahj2107 (talk) 16:46, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

Sarahj2107 - Thanks for fixing Halberstam cite in Bergesch article

I don't rally know how to work the edit functions. This article is about my father, so I'm pretty certain of most of the details. As it was perviously written, it was not particulary accurate. Not surprising, but we might as well set the record straight. He was pretty satisfied with his career, but especially proud of his association with Bob Gibson, whom he considered to be a friend for 50+ years. I believe Mr. Gibson felt the same way. - Thanks again. Bxwkr (talk) 03:37, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Sorry about the mess at Chester Brown. I was called away from the computer while I was in the middle of reorganizing things. It's fixed now. CüRlyTüRkeyTalkContribs 20:58, 28 April 2012 (UTC)

Automatic {{Reflist}} Addition

Hello. Since you like fixing cite errors, I would like to invite you to try a new "gadget" (or rather, a javascript enhanced webpage) I created to automatically add {{Reflist}} templates to articles. Like I said, it is very new. Check it out at User:TheJJJunk/ARA. -- JJJ (talk) 15:19, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

Linking to a Wikipedia Image in a Wikipedia page is a Violation?

Look, there is an image of Lieutenant Colonel Yujiro Yutani but no page for him. I can't be in violation of Wikipedia's rules if I am linking to a Wikipedia page. I'm sick of this. You fix it! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bofors40mm (talkcontribs)

Michael Budd Refs

Hi sarahj2107, I have now added references to my Michael Budd page, after you flagged that there were none. Would you be able to check to ensure these are added correctly and the page is not deleted? thanks Louib1986 (talk) 08:58, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

C.K Tang Refs

Hi Sarah2107, I don't have much English version references to C.K Tang (Chiu-Kwai Tang,my father), that's why I want to create one . However, his name is listed on Hong Kong official Public Art website, www.publicart.org.hk/works_details_eng.php?id=21, as I am new to Wikipedia, pls advise what do I need to do next.I just want to list my father's details,thanks[[File:--Ganjiedeng (talk) 11:15, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Example.jpg]]

Someone has deleted this page under G11:unambiguous advertising and unsourced biography of a living person. If the page was to be created again it would need to be written in a neutral point of view, without seeming like an advert. There would also need to be at least one reliable reference, the one you mentioned above seems good. If there are references in another language, it would be OK to add them as well. However, I should warn you against creating an article about someone you have a close connection to as this goes against Wikipedia's guidelines on conflict if interest (WP:COI). If your father is a notable person I'm sure someone will eventually create a page for him.Sarahj2107 (talk) 11:52, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Antony Price

Please can you stop re-editing Antony Price.

Gavin has done the interview at my request and the information you are replacing it with is not factual and not what I want.

Antony Price

I don't firstly understand why you are aggresive but you are seemingly getting very upset and irrate.

Antony instructed me to do an interview for him on the basis that he wants the information on Wikipedia to be as accurate as possible.

What you keep replacing it with is not accurate and not to Antony's wishes which I think should be respected because afterall the article is about him.

Kind Regards,

Gavin — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaslett (talkcontribs) 16:12, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

I'm not being aggressive, I am following Wikipedia guidelines. I am also not upset or irate. Please see WP:COI for conflict of interest guidelines. And Wikipedia:Ownership_of_articles for information on ownership of articles, or lack thereof. Sarahj2107 (talk) 16:28, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Pulpfictionstories

Hi Sarah. I had added the reference to Google Books as one you had suggested. Can you tell me why it was removed, and maybe what the correct way to do the citation is? I'm a bit new at this and appreciate your help. -Phil Pulpfictionstories (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:33, 14 May 2012 (UTC).

Hi, the link you added, to Google books is referencing the same book as is already cited in the reference section of the article (Hubbard, L. Ron (2008). Branded Outlaw. ISBN 978-1592122585.)It doesn't need to link to an actual web page because the ISBN is provided and clicking on it will take you to a page that provides multiple online sources for the book. What the article now needs is 3rd party references, like reviews or mentions in newspapers. An independent source that supports that it was first published in the October 1938 issue of "Five Novels Monthly" magazine would be helpful for example. I know these are sometimes hard to find so if you leave the {{reflimprove}} tag on, other editors will see it, it will be added to a maintenance category and they can help find references. I hope this helps, if your still not sure let me know. Sarahj2107 (talk) 22:47, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined

I have declined the speedy deletion on Bounce (JJ Project Album), A9 only applies to "a musical recording that does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject, and where the artist's article has never existed or has been deleted. As JJ Project has a Wikipedia page, the criteria doesn't apply. You will have to use PROD or AfD to have it deleted. Cheers, --kelapstick(bainuu) 23:19, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

No problem, but for the record that article was created after I placed the CSD tag. I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm an idiot.Sarahj2107 (talk) 23:23, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
Hmmmm, I usually check for that sort of thing, I must not have enough coffee in my system yet, I will have to remedy that. I may have to put my top Asian-popular-music-investigator on the case (surprisingly, I actually have one here). Cheers. --kelapstick(bainuu) 23:28, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

Antony Price

Dear Sarah,

I'm sorry for what happened re: Antony Price article.

I'm very new to Wikipedia and I feel that the route of the problem was that I should of been more well read on it before I put the Antony Price article up.

When I saw the article was removed it made me angry and I hastily sent a message to you saying ploitely please do not remove it.

I felt the responses were a bit harsh and our communication became heated however neither of us were abusive to each other, however I felt it was not pleasant as I felt bullied and I was not getting a clear understanding of why the article was being removed.

I will not edit the article again and I will only submit another article with links to all statements and references at later date for your consideration.

Again, it is not in my character to "vandalise" anything and I was horrified that was what I classed as doing, however I have to accept that if I did not read up on the rules. I just find Wikipeida in the way it laid out etc not very user friendly and also working a full-time job I just don't have much time to experience it. However it is a learning curve.

So please except my apologies and I will endeavour not to create havoc.

Kind Regards,

Gavin

Hello, Sarahj2107. You have new messages at Gaslett's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
Thank you for you apology and I'm sorry you felt you were being bullied, that was not my intention, I know sometimes it's hard to understand I persons tone when the messages are in writing. The messages I left on your talk page were pre-written templates designed to warn people when their editing goes against Wikipedia policy, they are esculted to a more stern message when they seem to be ignored. I know they can seem intimidating, maybe I should have assumed good faith and stuck to gentler hand written massages.
I know Wikipedia has a steep leaning curve and the instructions and policies are hard to navigate. However, I hope you understand that I was anoyed when I provided you with links to the relevant pages on 'conflict of interest' and 'ownership of articles' and you seemed to ignore them. Your repeated claims that it was your article (or that of you friend) and threatening to report me to the administrators if I edited it again made me angry as that is not the way Wikipedia works.
I'm glad the matter is solved and we can move on, I really don't like arguing with anyone. As for your article, you may want to use the sandbox to work on it before you put anything on the main article. You could also look at similar articles to see how they are layed out and what WikiCode they use, I find that really helps me when I'm having problems. Good luck with your future editing. Regards Sarahj2107 (talk) 12:07, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Thanks Sarah for your understanding, take care. Gavin — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaslett (talkcontribs) 13:08, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Sarah, you are invited!

Dear Sarah, thanks for your pieces of advice how to improve the article. In a first step I wanted to write down the most important aspects of the scientific achievements of Dr. Holick and it was extremely important to me to reference everything accurately. I've already divided the article in sections and partly rearranged the paragraphs. I'll try to work on the other aspects you mentioned. As this is my first article (plus the same article in German language), I still will might or probably will need some help! Already thanks for helping to improve the article. PS: What do you think about addig a section "bibliography" as he wrote several books that influenced the publich perception on vitamin D significantly? --Matthias3110 (talk) 22:34, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

I'm glad to help and if you have any problems just let me know. You could add a bibliography but I would call it something else, publications maybe?, because some articles use the term bibliography as a reference section and it could be confusing. A few examples of important books would be helpful, as long as it isn't a huge list. Sarahj2107 (talk) 22:44, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

SMGOONERATNE

Hi this is regarding your note about 'Nalaka Godahewa' page. The page has improved a lot now and thank you for your valuable advice all throughout . I noticed your earler comment and removed some external links( about 10) but kept balance. I also attached messege for you asking you to consider removing your comment. later I noticed that the comment has been taken off and I was very happy. But a day later I also noticed that remaining external links ( about 15) were also gone. I thought it was done by you but having seen your messege to me I understand that some one else has removed them. Any way shall we leave it as it is now without further comments. Several people in our country have been contributing and we all like it to see it remaining a nice page as it is now, without any further comments. However as per your suggestion I will look for about external 3-4 links o be added later on. Thank you very much. SM

I think the page looks ok as it is now. There a few minor things that can be done to improve it more, such as an infobox which I've requested on the article talk page but there is no hurry with that. If you are happy with it now with no external links then you can leave it like that, they don't have to be added. Looking through the ones removed the only relevant links seem to be Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority and possibly Completed Doctoral Theses 2008, if he has an official website, that could also be added. If there are any related wikipedia pages not linked to in the text, such as 'List_of_Ananda_College_alumni they could be added to a 'See also' section. You could take a look at the Tissa Wijeyeratne page as an example of a well structured article. Sarahj2107 (talk) 12:26, 16 June 2012 (UTC)

Portoviejo

Hi Sarah, I realized that you reported me as if I vandalized on Wikipedia. The page that I had changed was http://www.portoviejo.goV.ec I changed the letter V to a letter B, because in Spanish (Español) the word "goBierno" is written with a B AND NOT with the letter V as an English speaking person would think. Copy and paste the link at the bottom it will take you to the cached website http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:Ub1PY59jajIJ:www.portoviejo.gob.ec/+PORTOVIEJO+GOV.EC&cd=3&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca&client=firefox It informs you the proper link. Pay attention to: "This is Google's cache of http://www.portoviejo.gob.ec/. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on 13 Jun 2012 08:05:07 GMT. The current page could have changed in the meantime." Thank you for reading. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elimurzam (talkcontribs) 22:48, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

by the way i just changed to the new link http://www.manabi.gob.ec/cantones/portoviejo, no longer neither of the two previous. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elimurzam (talkcontribs) 22:56, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

You should use edit summaries in the future, then people might know what you're doing. As this is an English wiki and most government sites in English end it .gov, I assumed you changing .gov to .gob was vandalism. If you had explained why you were changing it in the edit summary, I wouldn't have reverted it.Sarahj2107 (talk) 10:15, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

Martin Guevara Urbina

A tag has been placed on Martin Guevara Urbina requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. I have provided, sufficient references, is there something else that I can do. I would highly appreciate your valuable feedback. I would be so thankful if you would take a look at the page, and try to help me out, so everything can be in place. Martin_Guevara_Urbina Sofia alvarez1 (talk) 23:58, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

An image on the page was deleted because it didn't have copyright permision. The page itself is not in danger of deletion. I can see it had been previously deleted due to G12 speedy deletion criteria and has since been reposted, but I guessing its been reworded as it doesn't meet G12 criteria now. If you want to replace the image that was deleted you will have to make sure it isn't copyrighted or that you have permission form the copyright holder. The page actually looks pretty decent and the cleanup tag could probably be removed, I will have a closer look at for you it tomorrow. Sarahj2107 (talk) 01:06, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
