The article Utsav Lal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- not (yet) notable - unreferenced

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Sangita Lal! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 245 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Utsav Lal - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

- You have done the right thing to ask the deleting administrator, FreeRangeFrog, but having looked at the deleted article I can give you some advice: it was far too promotional in tone, fill of glowing adjectives: "strong Indian roots... innovative handling... His soulful renditions... Spellbinding original compositions... hugely successful India Tour... huge recognition... prestigious... "
- That was not an encyclopedia article, it was an advertisement, written to persuade and sell, not to inform. Anything like that is deleted from Wikipedia at sight. I am surprised that this lasted so long. Wikipedia requires a neutral point of view, no opinions, just plain facts, neutrally stated and cited to reliable sources. Read WP:PEACOCK.
- My advice is, start again with a clean sheet, and leave out all the adjectives. You are not writing for Utsav Lal, you are writing for Wikipedia about him. Don't say how wonderful he his, just what he has actually achieved. Don't copy from his website or his promotional literature: it would be a copyright violation, and also would be too promotional.
- Your name, and the tone of your article, suggest that you may be related to Utsav Lal or associated with him. In that case you have, from Wikipedia's point of view, a WP:Conflict of interest and should carefully read that guideline and the WP:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide.
