[edit]Hello Samantha Herbst. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Mint Group, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Samantha Herbst. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Samantha Herbst|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Sulfurboy (talk) 23:48, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Sulfurboy
My apologies, I had assumed that I had submitted the Paid Contribution template but obviously did so incorrectly. I've inserted it below, but please note that I am still a third-party contributor and not an advocate for the company. I've also made changes to the sources and only included reliable third-party sources in the Draft:Mint Group page.
Please advise if the Paid Contribution template is correct here? I couldn't add it onto the draft page and the interface on my Talk Page is different...

AfC notification: Draft:Mint Group has a new comment
[edit](talk) As this is all new to me I could really use some patience from the editors' side. Thank you for your comment. Please advise if I can resubmit for review IF I whittle down the type of language that seems to be offensive at this point. If this piece were a basic "this company exists... it was founded in... and these are the public accolades it has been awarded..." By writing "please stop" on my page what did you mean? I can always change the piece to suit what Wikipedia is looking for but I definitely need more helpful guidance than "please stop". I hope you understand?
Samantha Herbst (talk) 14:37, 25 May 2020 (UTC)
- I would suggest spending about 6 months editing other areas of Wikipedia to get a feel for how things work here. You are being PAID to edit I am not, why should I give you any help whatsoever? My "please stop" comment refers to using Wikipedia to promote a company. Theroadislong (talk) 15:10, 25 May 2020 (UTC)
It may take a few minutes from the time the email is sent for it to show up in your inbox. You can {{You've got mail}} or {{ygm}} template. at any time by removing the

[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:The Rethabile Project, from its old location at User:Samantha Herbst/sandbox/The Rethabile Project. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Nathan2055talk - contribs 19:51, 14 September 2020 (UTC)
