My apologies for not including a summary of the edits made recently. I have updated the demographics section of the article on Kochi with some information released in 2008, with verifiable sources. Please review this information and reconsider your reversion. Shree90 (talk) 20:14, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The goal of WikiProject Christianity is to improve the quality and quantity of information about Christianity available on Wikipedia. WP:X as a group does not prefer any particular tradition or denominination of Christianity, but prefers that all Christian traditions are fairly and accurately represented.

What Should I do ??
These are lots of things you can do to improve the quality of Wikipedia coverage of Christianity in India and this project :-
Place the WPChristianity banner {{ChristianityWikiProject|class=|importance=|indian-work-group=yes|indian-importance=}} on the head of Talk Pages of relavent articles.
Look over the recent changes list for recent improvements to articles, other changes, and vandalism.
Attract interested Wikipedians in Christianity in India, its history and other related topics. Welcome New Members.
Improve the WPChristianity banner that goes at the head of Talk Pages to handle tags for unreferenced, copyedit needed, cleanup needed, expansion needed, and POV warning.
Article Review, for articles nominated by members for wider review. In this case the new ones go at the top and sink as new ones are added.(see here).
Add more reward templates (barnstars), and have people in the task force actually watching logs and rewarding key contributors to the project.
Look over the recent changes list for recent improvements to articles, other changes and vandalism.
WikiProject Christianity Coordinators : The project coordinators are generally responsible for maintaining all of the procedural and administrative aspects of the project, and serve as the designated points-of-contact for procedural issues. They are not, however, endowed with any special executive powers, nor with any authority over article content or editor conduct. The Lead Coordinator bears overall responsibility for coordinating the project; the Assistant Coordinators aid the Lead Coordinator and focus on specific areas that require special attention.
The following Coordinators were elected after Elections 2008
There is also a discussion regarding whether any new subportals dealing with Christianity should be created here. All inputs are welcome.
Bot Assisted Assessment was used for the unassessed project articles. Should you need any manual reassessment , kindly request it here.

Welcome to the Sixth issue of the WikiProject Christianity newsletter! Use this newsletter as a mechanism to inform yourselves about progress at the project and please be inspired to take more active roles in what we do.
Luckily, you all won't have to see my comments very often, as very little I have to say is really that important. But I would like to take the opportunity to say that I hope everyone finds the new General Forum page useful for discussing ideas relevant to Christianity in general, and feels free to make any additional comments regarding general Christianity there. Also, if any of you feel that you want to place a comment here in the future, please let us know what you want included. We would encourage all members to get more involved and if you are wondering what with, please ask. Use this newsletter as a mechanism to inform yourselves about progress at the project and please be inspired to take more active roles in what we do.
We are initiating a new feature here. Every month, we will list one misisng article. The first person to start the article will be mentioned by name in the next newsletter, as well as any others should they help get included in the Main Page DYK's section.
To stop receiving this newsletter, or to receive it in a different format, please list yourself in the appropriate section here.

We now have 53 featured articles 6 featured lists, and 130 good articles, with the recent promotions of Thomas Cranmer to FA class, List of encyclicals of Pope John XXIII to FL status, and Hugh de Puiset to GA level. Thanks to all those who worked on these articles!
Welcome to the Eighth issue of the WikiProject Christianity newsletter! Use this newsletter as a mechanism to inform yourselves about progress at the project and please be inspired to take more active roles in what we do.
As many of you will know, we currently have several articles relating to the same basic topics. The articles in the Category:Baptism are one example of such. It is really in the interests of all of us to try to place as much content in the main article of such topics, and then have the other articles "branch off" from there and making the central article as good an article as possible. We also now have a proposal for a new general "Christianity" related award, similar to the Military history project's chevrons, at Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity/General Forum. Newsletter challenge
Last month's new article challenge, Church of Daniel's Band, was begun by User:Jack1956 and was included in the Main page's DYK section on June 15. Thank you to Jack1956 for his great work on creating this article!
I understand that Kochi page was a FA article, but it lost its status, due to few vested interests. Anyway, my intention is to ensure that the page comes back to FA Status soon.
First of all, I wonder why you revert all transport related matters, when many other cities like Chennai etc have classified into separte heads. Moreover many informations there are outdated. For example, JNNURM Buses and KSRTC Buses have became more popular than private buses since 2010. Hence stating that private buses are only option, its a wrong information
Several industries like FACT, HMT, TCC etc operates in Kochi. You may argue that they are located outside official city limits. But in any metro, be it Chennai, Pune or even Trivandrum, many of industries reported are actually outside official city limits. But their existence is dependent on Kochi city limit, not U/A. For example, Vallarpadom Port is outside official city limit, but its essentially part of Kochi City, which cannot be denied.
See, in Trivandrum, references to Port, Airport, VSSC, TERLS etc are all located outside official city limits. But their existence is simply because of city. Hence must be reported. Likewise for Kochi city too.
Brahmapuram waste management plant belongs to Kochi Corporation, but located in Thrikkara Panchayat. Hence restricting the article only to official limits, can make the city putting a false light.
Hence, I wish, you to assist me in putting up the page more updated and better in light, rather than keeping it in 2006 version, stating that its a stablized version--- Arun
See Samuel, I clearly know about the vested interests. I didn't allege upon you or any single individual. But there was a clear move against Kochi once in Wikipedia, which was observed by several Kochi based netizens and reported in many online forums, which I too have observed many times since 2006.
Well coming to transport, I still wonder, why you wish to stick to 2006 era data as far as transport is concerned. When cities like Chennai or Mumbai or Pune, have different classified head, why you seems to be particular when keeping it cluttered all. Moreover the tone in main page of Kochi-Transport, looks bit negative, as it doesn't talk important areas, say which all Highways touch Kochi, which are the public transport options, importance of railway stations etc. I think, thats not fair. It must be reverted to current data. Okay, you or others may edit it to make more simple or short, which is welcome. But reverting it and keeping the 2006 version, is really not good. I am once again going to revert that transport side again, probably a shorter version. I hope you can help me and others in keeping things short and simple, but I request you, kindly donot revert and maintain 2006 era datas.
