—Preceding unsigned comment added by Kisuga (talkcontribs) 03:59, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Yoo Hyun, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Ahn Sung-Nam. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Proposed deletion of Ahn Tae-Yoon

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ahn Tae-Yoon, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Has been unsourced for 3 months, fails the sourcing requirement at WP:BLP

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Korean clubs

[edit]
  • Thank you for your help. I think the clubs that have competed in the Korean FA are probably notable and the other ones are not. However, we are currently discussing football club notability so I will wait until a decision is reached before nominating for deletion. Thanks again! Speedy deletion of R-League 2008

[edit]

A tag has been placed on R-League 2008 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Dates

[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you have been linking some dates at Football at the 2001 East Asian Games recently. This practice of linking dates for the purpose of autoformatting is now deprecated. Please see WP:LINKING and WP:MOSNUM. Furthermore, there is an temporary Arbcom injunction on mass linking/delinking of chronological elements, although there is no suggestion from me that you are in breach whatsoever. I'm happy to respond to any inquiries you may have about the matter. Thank you for your attention. Ohconfucius (talk) 05:13, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Seoul Martyrs

[edit]

Hi, I noticed your work on the 2009 K3 League page, after the remarkable performance of Seoul Martyrs (and our article) were mentioned in a British newspaper. I was wondering if you could check the source for this information - this source mentions a goal difference of only -175, with 193 goals conceded rather than 194. We wouldn't want to do them a disservice. :) HenryFlower 20:19, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Lee San has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about athlete who hasn't played in a fully-pro league (only in reserve teams) and which fails general notability guideline.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Saint9016! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 138 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Jeon Sang-Dae - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

A tag has been placed on South Korea at the 2010 Asian Games requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 21:50, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How to search Hanja writings of Korean people's name

[edit]

Hello I came from Japanese Wikipedia. Thank you for your creating lots of articles relating Korean women's football. I do not read Hangul words, so I'm planning to translate English articles if I create Japanese version.

There is, however, a big obstacle in this task. In JAWP, we have to use Hanja writing if we create Japanese articles of Korean footballers, but it is rather hard for us to search their Hanja writings, except famous players (like 池笑然, 李明花 and Lee Jin-hwa (李珍和)). We have heard that some players do not have the first name which cannot be written in Hanja (like 田가을), but we have no way to look up whose first name can be written only in Hangul.

Do you know something about how to search Hanja writings of footballers' names? If you do, please tell us the way. Thank you and best regards. --Ohtani tanya (My talk Page of JAWP) —Preceding undated comment added 05:12, 14 July 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Emblem of Daekyo Kangaroos.PNG

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Emblem of Daekyo Kangaroos.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Wushu at the 2009 Southeast Asian Games. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Edit summaries

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. As stated before, when you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to List of K-League 40-40 club members. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you.

Tip of the day...

Please summarize your work using the Edit summary box

If you make anything other than a minor edit to an article, it helps others if you fill in the edit summary. Edit summaries are visible in the page history, watchlists, and on Recent changes, so they help other users keep track of what is happening to a page.

If you use section editing, the summary box is filled in with the section heading by default (in gray text), which you can follow with more detail. You also can put links to articles in the edit summary. Just put double brackets around [[the article title]] like you would normally. The summary is limited to 255 characters, so many people use common abbreviations, such as sp for correcting spelling mistakes, rm for remove, ce for copy-edit, etc.

Multi sporting events calendars

[edit]

Hey what is your opinion on the following issue: Should the word "ceremonies" be centralized on calendars, such as the 2010 asian games calendar? I am having a dispute and would like to hear you opinion on here [1]. You created the calendar for the asian games and left the word centralized can you expalin your reasoning there as well. I am for centralizing the word, because ceremonies are not a medal event, and therefore should be centralized and distinguished from medal events. Thank you. A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Ahn Tae-Yoon is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ahn Tae-Yoon until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
