Disambiguation link notification for April 18
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Progressive Majority, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Nichols. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

April 2015
[edit]Hello, I'm Lightsout. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Random (band) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Lightsout (talk) 21:57, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
- Lightsout: I didn't use an edit summary because I marked my edit as minor. I was removing an instance of "the the" [1], which looked grammatically odd to me. You have reverted my edit so it now reads "won the first series of the The X Factor (Australia)." Do you believe that is more correct? Thanks. Safehaven86 (talk) 22:00, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
- Oops, sorry about that. I've fixed it back :) Lightsout (talk) 22:06, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
- You know, I meant to do what I described above (remove a duplicate "the") but I actually introduced an error with my edit. Le sigh. I think I've finally fixed it now. Thanks for noticing, and happy editing! Safehaven86 (talk) 22:07, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Issue One
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Issue One requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. reddogsix (talk) 03:50, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
Bruce Forat company infobox
[edit]Hi - Thanks for the edits. Regarding the page: "Bruce Forat", I've restored the company infobox because "Forat Electronics" redirects to "Bruce Forat". If you would prefer, I could make them two separate pages. Please advise. Thanks again. - Eric
Speedy deletion nomination of Ilyse Hogue
[edit]Hello Safehaven86,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ilyse Hogue for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Rhumidian (talk) 14:36, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
