To Saebvn, for his/her notable new article and thoughtful consideration of suggestions from the peanut-gallery of how to improve it! S. Rich (talk) 22:53, 27 October 2010 (UTC) |
Hi. I have removed the plot summary from this, which was a copyvio, and de-peacocked it by removing the word "gripping"; I think what remains is neutral enough to escape a G11 speedy. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 19:13, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- No objections here. Thanks. Saebvn (talk) 19:18, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- One note, could you check authorship? Is Tilly Bagshawe, the purported author of After the Darkness, the same as Sidney Sheldon? Saebvn (talk) 19:20, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- No, it seems Sheldon is dead and Bagshawe is writing under his name, as various people wrote James Bond books after Ian Fleming died. That's the reason for the rather odd article title. I'm not sure what the technical publishing term for that is - "rip-off" springs to mind. Incidentally, I am about to block the article author for two weeks, because after a three-day block for copyio on a first version of this article s/he came back and did it again with the plot summary of this one! JohnCD (talk) 19:28, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- I see now; it does appear that she's kind of picking up where Sheldon left off. Looks like it's all sorted out now. I may go back in and crosslink the new author's name. Thanks. Saebvn (talk) 19:34, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

MfD
Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:WikiProject North Korea (2nd nomination) Hello, this is to invite you to a previously held discussion on MfD that had been closed but was recently revealed to be a vote fraud following the discovery of a big sockfarm operated by that particular individual. Appreciate if you could voice your opinion on this matter there. Best. --Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 13:15, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Zhao Jingmin. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
