Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Everett Blakely, from its old location at User:SLO David/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. -Liancetalk/contribs 01:44, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To Clarityfiend

[edit]

Thanks for your comments on my Wikipedia Page on Everett Blakely. I hope I understand your critique of my draft. I think you are telling me that I need to find more direct public sources that specifically relate to Everett Blakely. Is that correct? If it is correct I will add those to this project and hopefully meet with your approval to get this information published on Wikipedia. Thanks for all of your efforts to make Wikipedia the wonderful resource it is. SLO David --SLO David (talk) 22:18, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Review by Clarityfiend

[edit]

Clarityfiend- As per your request I have edited and added several source documents that speak specifically to the entry on Everett Blakely.

I am anxious to get this article published as it will be timely information when the new "Masters of the Air" Apple TV mini series will be released. Everett Blakely has a significant role in that series which is being produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. There is already a wikipedia entry on the upcoming show. [of the Air on Wikipedia] There is also a listing on the imdb https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2640044/

It will follow up on their acclaimed series "Band of Brothers" and "The Pacific". The wikipedia page on Richard Winters from "Band of Brothers" has been a model for me in creating the page on Everett Blakely.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Winters.

I hope you look positively on the work I have done and if I still have more work to do it would be helpful to me if you could specifically let me know what else I need to do so I can get this published on Wikipedia.

Thanks for all your time and effort in making Wikipedia the wonderful resource it is.

Correction to previous election announcement

[edit]

Just a quick correction to the prior message about the 2022 MILHIST coordinator election! I (Hog Farm) didn't proofread the message well enough and left out a link to the election page itself in this message. The voting will occur here; sorry about the need for a second message and the inadvertent omission from the prior one. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 17:41, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
