[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Love and Sex and Magic has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b (links: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_yhfrotuskoo/sz-jreovlbi/aaaaaaaabjo/bzpnww9byau/s1600-h/official+promo+cover.png). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 13:17, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image permission problem with Image:Paradiso Girls.png

[edit]
Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Paradiso Girls.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 72.88.65.246 (talk) 02:48, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Alive.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Alive.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:05, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Paradiso Girls.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Paradiso Girls.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:37, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Girlicious MMVA09.JPG. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:House of Harlow 1960, Clandestine Industries & Switch Boutique Fashion Show.JPG

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:House of Harlow 1960, Clandestine Industries & Switch Boutique Fashion Show.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Lәo(βǃʘʘɱ) 22:41, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Overcome (Alexandra Burke album)

[edit]

Stop, your recent edits to the article for which you added a possible and recorded songs section is unnacceptable. Wikipedia clearly states that songs are only notable if they have received extensive independent coverage. "Perfect" was a leaked song and there is no credible source that it will be included for the album or the she actually recorded the song for the album it could have been sung as a demo. Furthermore just because the album is called Overcome you cannot state the claim that a song of the same name will appear on the album even if one did leak. File source problem with File:SugababesFourthLineUp.png

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:SugababesFourthLineUp.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:37, 5 October 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 13:37, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated I Am... Sasha Fierce era Singles, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/I Am... Sasha Fierce era Singles. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Replaceable fair use File:FeNixNewLook.jpg

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading File:FeNixNewLook.jpg.

Better source request for File:Fenixswaggavid.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Fenixswaggavid.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

Images

[edit]

Hello
Reviewing your file upload history, it is clear that you need to take far more care with your uploads. For example, a recent upload you made was File:LadyGaGaMonster.jpg, a copyrighted image uploaded under a claim of fair use. However, since there are free alternatives available and it was only used for illustration of the person depicted, such a fair use claim is blatantly invalid on Wikipedia, per the non-free content policy. Also, a number of song cover images seem to be fan made and not actually official, so they both fail the verifiability policy and the fair use policy
I very strongly urge you to inform yourself about image use on Wikipedia before uploading any more, and to make sure that they comply with policy before.

The article Girlicious Second Studio Album has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:RS, WP:CRYSTAL.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  fetchcomms 20:30, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Inside Out (Kat DeLuna album). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Inside Out (Kat DeLuna album). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:14, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Request reason:

I would like to request an unblock. I accept I was in the wrong, and promise tokeep to the guidlines and rules. There have been allegations of me creating multiple accounts, which are all not me. I have been unable to edit for quite some time, so please may I be unblocked

Decline reason:

Not by telling falsehoods. It's quite obvious, for example, that User:Sammate21 and User:Samm2o1o are also you. --jpgordon::==( o ) 23:28, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I would like to request an unblock. I accept I was in the wrong, and promise tokeep to the guidlines and rules. There have been allegations of me creating multiple accounts, which are all me, which I am deeply sorry for creating. I have been unable to edit for quite some time, so please may I be unblocked, as their are many articles I can improve or increase their credibilty

Decline reason:

Duplicate request; you may wish to review our guide to appealing blocks for additional guidance; if this request has been declined once, it's not going to help to get a second opinion. Your better course of action would be to discuss what specifically you did wrong, how you should have done it differently, and what specifically you plan to do if unblocked. AfD nomination of Fe-Nix

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Fe-Nix. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fe-Nix.

--Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
