Splitting these is valuable, there's over a dozen list pages. Right now they're mixed in with individual character pages and it's not helpful, please restore it. Ranze (talk) 07:32, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- It's not "valuable". There is no point in splitting this set off from the others when they will be the only pagesthat exist after several merges.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 07:33, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- That's anticipating that no Kamen Rider character could ever be important enough to deserve their own article. Currently there is a use for such list categories, discussion of simplifying a list-only category name should come after any possible merger of individual character articles into lists by remaking them into redirects.
- In the many cases where this has already occurred, shouldn't we organize these redirects on the basis of their being redirects of fictional Kamen Rider series character names? This way a master list would exist and could be used to navigate the lists of KR chars in a different manner, on a per-name basis in addition to per-series. Ranze (talk) 07:54, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- No. This is not how Wikipedia works.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 09:19, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
TV series importance
Since you know a lot about this stuff, do you know how Wikipedia determines whether characters/episodes get individual pages (like the Simpsons) or can only have list pages (like you say for Kamen Rider stuff)? Is it based on ratings or how much money the show makes? I would like to try to look up this information in case some stuff might deserve the depth that isn't getting it. I would like to drop this name, Taco-Sauce89, to the sock puppet pile attributed to the user 166.205.49.97 (talk · contribs · WHOIS). It seems pretty obvious from the writing he created the identity to post on my talk page. I could very well be wrong but judging by what I have found concerning this user I wouldn't put it past him. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thefro552 (talk) 16:57, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

Power Rangers Super Megaforce-related
Ryulong, while visiting the Power Rangers wiki to find any info on when it is going to air, I followed this link which confirmed that the foot soldiers for the Warstar's Armada branch are called X-Borgs. Are you looking forward to this part of Power Rangers Megaforce when it airs? Rtkat3 (talk) 6:22, January 14 2014 (UTC)
- Samurai Cast is not a reliable source and I will not acknowledge it here. Also, I do not live in a nation where Power Rangers airs currently.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 04:09, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
- At least be ready to add the Armada information once the Super Megaforce season airs. Then will have official confirmation on the Armada's foot soldiers. Rtkat3 (talk) 11:47, January 15 2014 (UTC)
- I don't have to. Why don't you put some effort into fleshing out the Rangers' section.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 17:04, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Category:Lists of Kamen Rider characters
Hello Ryulong. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Category:Lists of Kamen Rider characters, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Category redirect is not eligible for C1 speedy deletion. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:58, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, then I'll make it not a redirect.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 06:20, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
Reverts today
I'm inclined to start a discussion about your edits today at WP:AN or WP:ANI but before doing so, I would like to hear your thoughts behind the reverts you made. Thanks in advance. Nick (talk) 17:32, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- If you're referring to the edits made by Sturmgewehr88, he decided to create a "WikiProject" on his own and left several malformed not-quite-made project templates across several talk pages. I've cleaned these up and left him a message regarding my concerns about his edits on his talk page. I am discussing this editor's actions with Kwamikagami as well. I haven't done any edit warring that I can discern, so I don't know what issues you believe must be raised because you certainly don't spell out exactly what reverts you have issue with.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 17:43, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- The Sturmgewehr88 reverts are my main concern, yes. I've seen no evidence of discussion with the user, you appear to have reverted all of their edits, left some messages on their user page, but there's no evidence of a two way discussion to agree on a way forward. Nick (talk) 17:51, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- I've only just discovered Sturmgewehr88's edits within the past hour. He left a bunch of raw templates across several talk pages, uploaded a non-free photo that if I had the time and energy I could go out and reproduce, and created a WikiProject that falls within the topic area of another WikiProject without consulting anything or anyone there. I've suggested to him a better way to move forward and I hope that when he comes back to the computer I can assist him in that way by helping him in the task force.
- And as an aside, I think his username is a little inappropriate. The Sturmgewehr is a Nazi German assault rifle and his username includes the number 88 which is used by Neo Nazis (see 88 (number)#In white nationalism).—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 18:00, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Since this is about me, I'll throw in my two cents. About the templates, I'm obviously inexperienced with them. I saw that WikiProjects "mark" any article's talk page that falls within their scope, so I simply started to do what they did. If you found fault with them, then you should have fixed them.
- As I already explained about the photo, it's not as simple as you make it out to be. Just because someone can do something does not mean they will, which is why the only photo I could find for that article was in an online newspaper article.
- While my WikiProject falls under WikiProject Japan, how many other WikiProjects have parent WikiProjects?
- actually, the Sturmgewehr44 was a Nazi German assault rifle, but "Sturmgewher" is just how you say "assault rifle" in German. The 88 is representative of the 88mm gun on the Tiger and King Tiger tanks. I've used this user name with variation for at least four years, and attacking my user name to discredit me is highly unethical. Sturmgewehr88 (talk) 19:41, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- I couldn't fix things because you had made them all wrong in the first place.
- Anyone can go to Nanjo and take a photo of the castle.
- There is no such thing as "parent WikiProjects". Just start a task force within the Japan WikiProject.
- And it's an odd combination of names is all: a machine gun first developed during the Third Reich and a number highly representative of the Neo Nazi movement. Saying it's just German for assault rifle and the calliber of a completely unrelated gun is still suspect.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 20:31, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- If I had made them wrong, then explain how to make them right.
- I'll do just that then.
- Parent WikiProjects.
- If you so strongly associate the word "assault rifle" with Nazism, that's your issue. Assault rifle is a very ambiguous word, and is very different from a machine gun. And the caliber of a cannon has no relation to Neo Nazism whatsoever. Sturmgewehr88 (talk) 21:37, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Well if you do go to Nanjo and take a photo of the castle, be sure to upload it to the Wikimedia Commons so all Wikipedia projects can use it.
- I do not have the time to explain how templates work. I'm sure Help:Templates exists. However, I would implore you not to re-create all of these because there's no point in having a Ryukyu WikiProject. It would be better to just form a Ryukyu/Okinawa task force within WP:JAPAN. Please start a discussion thread there. And that "identify parent projects" sections means you should seek out assistance first before going off on your own. So please, there's no real point in having a separate project for this.
- And I will think that using the German word for "assault rifle" combined with a number that has a certain connotation is circumspect regardless of what reasoning you may provide so perhaps we should not focus on it further.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 21:48, 20 January 2014 (UTC)

Your last revert
Regarding your last revert in HappinessCharge PreCure!, here's a part on Miyuki Kobori's offcial blog regarding her role as Glassun:
新番組「ハピネスチャージプリキュア!」にて、
キュアフォーチュンの妖精、ぐらさんの声を担当させて頂きます!!
Usually all voice actors gets a copy of the script on the show they were gonna voice. Toei gave her one and assigned her to voice the character before she announced it officially today. If it came from Toei, Bandai, the official magazines and from the Seiyus themselves, then they're considered official. If you still think it isn't then I don't know what's wrong with you.--BlackGaia02 (talkpage if you dare) (talk) 12:41, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

List of Pokémon characters
Why did you revert my edit? The Frontier Brains do appear in HGSS. Your rationale (Platinum came out before HeartGold and SoulSilver.) makes no sense to me. Transcendence (talk) 23:06, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
- Because the characters in question originate from Platinum and not from HGSS. They happen to appear in it but are not from it to be exact.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 04:54, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
- I don't see any claim made anywhere in my edit that asserts the Frontier Brains originate from HGSS. Transcendence (talk) 08:13, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
- The original order of the content implies that. Also, the linking to the games was still wrong.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 09:07, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

I don't know much about this sort of stuff, so I'll defer to your judgement. Can you answer the second part of my MCQ – is the file's "home" country actually NZ? How do we define this for a file? Adabow (talk) 04:08, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
- It is effectively owned by the record label but it is probably better to just keep the file locally as very few other projects use album covers to begin with.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 04:56, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Yoda
There are certainly aspects of religious allegory in the Star Wars universe and Yoda's position in it. I restored the category. If you disagree, it should be taken up at the Talk page. Dwpaul Talk 13:09, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
But I see now that the category has been deleted. Nevermind! Dwpaul Talk 13:12, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- I was cleaning out some bullshit categories all made by one dude. Optimus Prime was considered a "religious figure".—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 14:53, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Well, that may not be completely unreasonable; remember, we could be talking about fictional figures associated with fictional religions (not just fictional figures related to "real world" religions). "Within his chest is a mystic talisman, known as the Autobot Matrix of Leadership or the 'Creation Matrix', carried by all Autobot leaders." - @Optimus Prime But even so, I don't have the time nor motivation to argue for the resurrection (bad pun) of the category. Thanks. Dwpaul Talk 17:17, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

Bullet points
For future reference I was just wondering if the use of Bullet points together with character lists, is an outdated format? Some examples where I've seen it used are on List of Fairy Tail characters, A Town Where You Live and a couple other places in the project. I think in some places it looks good to group small numbers of characters though. —KirtZMessage 23:00, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- I haven't seen it before myself. It's probably better just to make sections for everyone.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 23:05, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
