Flop
Yeah, but to be honest I don't care that much. If the video is good (it looks EPIC) it might go gold in the US. But really, that's kinda what you get for heavily sampling singing over a track, especially as it was popular before B redid it. Oh well. She'll be back soon with a song that's more her. I want another power ballad a la Dangerously in Love or Halo. And I haven't heard JAK, but I'm not really a country fan, sorry... Adabow (talk · contribs) 04:32, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

According to the guy at RIAJ that emailed back, it's probably a misprint that the album's not there, and he'll fix it up after double checking. So expect it sometime next week to appear, probably! --Prosperosity (talk) 07:45, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
Ayu
Lol i really don't know if im replying the right way, but here goes. First off hello ^^ im kaleido37 and to answer your question, Yes i do have sources RIAJ certified her album I am... and Duty 3 million ill be sure to link the page. Her album secret was certified triple platinum, and i put down both the official sales and what was announced according to avex's magazine. Avex keep track of their artist album sales when they stop charting on the oricon chart and they also count album sales that are sold outside of Hamasaki's concerts and fan sign events, while oricon does not.
Thats was long sorry =P are you an Ayu fan? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaleido37 (talk • contribs) 15:09, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

Helloooaoaoaoao==
Sorry I hadn't replied, ugh just been so all over the place lately, but yes, the sample was great! I love your work on "Just a Kiss." Its always good to get an article done while the information is freshly coming out then having to go all the way and dig up stuff lol. I haven't heard the studio version, but I saw them on American Idol, and I was less than enthused, so perhaps it'll be a grower lol! Well I'm so busy now, and it will probably get worse, but do you wanna go ahead and set up a sandbox for Cali Gurls? I thought we discussed this before or not maybe I forgot, but perhaps I do Background, composition, and critical reception, and you can do the Music video, Live performances, and chart performance? Tell me if there are any you'd like to swap with me :) Candyo32 18:52, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
Radio adds archiving
You know that you can source future radio adds from [1]? They are gone once the date arrives, so be sure to archive them at [2]. I am telling you this because Just a Kiss may have been (or will be) sent to radio. Adabow (talk · contribs) 04:07, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
- It's failing for me at the moment, too. The archive thingy might be overloaded or down or something. Try again in a few hours. Adabow (talk · contribs) 04:49, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Hey :)
Hi there Mags. Sure I will get to that Peer review. Honestly, forgive me but I think I can help you more if I first try and give you some kind of a copy-edit. Is that okay? I've gotten better at prose :D Also, LOL, WTF was that? I swear some people are so loony, not to mention he stole my signature design! lol, that should be against policy ;) Of course, I will get to CB right away! I actually completed TEOM (you guessed it! By myself....Hehe, but I'm happy with it!) what do you think? I really think after a GA review, PR it could be FA. As for the photo. I wish Whitney would just post a damn photo of herself! lol, of course its better than what we had before...nothing!--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 12:26, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- Haha, I mean really, I don't know who that is lol. Sure, I'll give it a c/e, if you don't like it or agree feel free to revert :). Thank you! I gotta tell you though the background and development were Candy's sections lol, gotta give credit where its due, especially when its so rare :S Those albums are killers! Only a few more left, I only really have Glitter, CB, E=MC2, Memoirs and MCIIY (Easy) for studio albums left. Her compilations and etc. will be cake. Yes, I get such a sense of excitement every time you tell me there are new pictures :D I forgot again, which sections are we doing? Lol?--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 12:47, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, the BG sections don't bother me, so I'll handle that :) I'll switch it for another of mine. Do you think we will be able to gather enough info for a recording and development section? Those are usually the trickiest unless you got books :S--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 13:06, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

DYK for Here We Go Again (Ray Charles song)
On 21 May 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Here We Go Again (Ray Charles song), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that although Ray Charles and Nancy Sinatra solos of "Here We Go Again" made Billboard's Hot 100, Charles' 2004 duet with Norah Jones became the second Grammy Record of the Year that did not? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Oh no! I am sorry if you were working on the Hawaiian Music article already--I assumed you had the actual article on your watchlist and would jump in while I was expanding it if you had the time and interest. You are certainly welcome to work on the actual articles rather than your sandbox, but the choice is yours! I will try to see what other lists you are working on. Feel free to use the Grammy task force talk page to ask questions or let project members know what you are working on. Others may want to join in and help! Sorry again, but keep up the great work! --Another Believer (Talk) 15:36, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

- Sorry, the book only gives the release date (January 25, 1986, page 150) in the UK, but not in the US. According to Billboard magazine, their review of the single "How Will I Know" is on the November 30, 1985 issue (review) and the next week (December 7, 1985), the single debuted at #60 on the Hot 100. I just guess that the release date might be one day in the fouth week of November in 1985 but don't know the exact release date of it in the US, either. Question
Hey, do you remember that Spanish album that I wanted to revamp the article for? Well, it's complicated release format really complicates everything. At first, the first the album was supposed to be released as whole. Then, a 7-song EP with "First Part" in its title. Now, a 14-song release with "Second Part" in its title is being released, but half of the songs are the one's from the EP. What is it considered, a re-release of the EP, a studio album in its own merits, or a compilation? Are they separate or are they one whole release? If so, is it an EP or a studio album? What do you think? Also, the singles are being released unitedly, meaning... the first single was in the original EP. the second was in the "Second Part". And the third was in the original EP also. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 20:05, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- I understand your points. It's pretty much what I had thought. But time can only tell what happens, because if the EP and album chart separately then... it will complicated things further. o.O -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 21:13, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- Lol, I don't why any artist would something like that? -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 20:10, 27 May 2011 (UTC)
- It's just a weird concept because all the material was ready by the time she released the first part. She could have just released a full-length album to begin with. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 04:19, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah. She put up previews on YouTube from January to March of 2010. And she said it was to make the initial price cheaper and more affordable to fans so that they didn't have to buy pirated copies (since it's not illegal in Latin America, it's the main seller). -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 04:43, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yep. Yep and Mexico too (where she's from). Throughout most of Latin America. That's why CD sales are so low over there, yet the population is so large. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 17:08, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, if not... Mexico would probably sell more CDs than the U.S. Mexico is just really populated. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 06:49, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Irresistible
Hey, you know I'm not fluent in Japanese, right? :P Google Translate gave this: ""Irresistible" is a song I'll become a habit. So I'll fall in love with music as you listen is "Irresistible" in love. And with sexy, fun, and really, I'm a best song. The man called helplessly fell in love with anyone because I think that, in this song I'll think everyone can relate." So I think you could write about the song's theme (hopelessly in love) and the fact that she thinks everyone can relate to it. Make sure you don't add any direct quotes if they are translated from a foreign language. Hope that helped. :-) Adabow (talk · contribs) 21:14, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

- Great! BTW, I'll get to those books tomorrow :) I'll be paying the library a visit! Just been so overwhelmed with finals.--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 14:04, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- To which books are you referring? No no, I am already 70% of the way to my Bachelor's degree :) I graduated high school a year early, when I was 17 (2008). That is actually one of the big issues I am facing now, I have no idea what career I would like to pursue! I wish I has it chosen like you :(. I gotta figure it out soon though, time is ticking! Well, here we have high school until around 18, then 4 years of college to get your bachelor's degree, and then a masters if you choose to pursue one. Usually another 2-6 years. Let's see where life takes me :D--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 15:04, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
Hmmmm, I don't remember which books lol. I can recall that I have all the available books for her :S Thanks for the support Mags :) I really hope I can figure it out soon! Also, can you take a look at the "Underneath the Stars (song)" page. For some reason the new photo I uploaded won't come up in the infobox. Care to take a look? :)--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 21:00, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking a look :)--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 06:26, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
Jessica Simpson
You're a big Jessica Simpson fan... I was looking at of her performances for "I Wanna Love You Forever" that was absolutely amazing. She was belting all over the place. And one comment said she hurt her voice and can't sing like that anymore? Is it true? What happened to her? Also, I wanted to show you this If you get bored, skip to 3:30. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 05:00, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- That performance I saw made me think much higher of her. Previously, I just thought she was an airhead who couldn't sing, but then I saw a video of her singing and it was so amazing, I was like, "WTF? This girl is seriously underrated." It is a difficult song, but if she went through the process of vocal training, I bet she could do it again. And, yeah, that's exactly what I meant. I was completely blown away when I saw that. She has whistle register hidden within her. She should also really get vocal training to get her voice to its full potential and stop the nasal in concerts. Also, by when do you think you'll have some sources for the background of Fearless? I'm desperate to start :p -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 17:28, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- Haha, you might kill me, but I've never heard any Faith Hill songs. I'm actually gonna hear some right now. And great I thought you did. lol And who are you're favorite female singers? Mine are obviously Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Shakira, and really liked this Spanish group RBD (I was obsessed with it). -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 16:42, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
- Lol. I had no idea you liked country that much. I also really like Guns and Roses, The Beatles, admittedly Miranda Cosgrove and Selena Gomez (I'm not proud these two), I'm really liking Adele right now, Beyonce of course (I have two of her albums), and yeah the old Shakira is the best. Her new Sale el Sol stuff has a lot of influences from before, Kelly Clarkson, John Mayer (too bad Taylor hates him lol), Avril Lavigne, Luis Fonsi, Demi Lovato, and I likED Hilary Duff (IDK why). I'm mostly really pop rock oriented, but I'm really eclectic. I'm pretty much open to anything. I really liked Faith Hill's "Breathe". I really haven't gotten myself into hearing anything old by Mariah Carey other than "Vision of Love" and "Always Be My Baby" (they're pretty good though). -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 16:14, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- Also, can you try to find information like the one you have for the Speak Now album. That's the sort of information we need and yeah the Bee article would really help. Thank you so much for helping me with this :) -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 17:10, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

It's funny cuz I read this interview when she said John Mayer's music was inspiring her sound on Speak Now. I was like what? The interview was in 2010 and she went out with him in 2009. Anyways, do you listen to Spanish music? Probably not, you don't speak Spanish. If you do, Shakira's old stuff is like MORE than amazing. Kelly is AWESOME! I don't have her albums though... :( I have most of her songs. I dont have the Sasha Fierce album because tbh some of the I Am... songs were really boring and some of the Sasha Fierce ones were just plain out pointless. I have the good songs (Single Ladies, Sweet Dreams, Broken-Hearted Girl, Scared of Lonely, etc.) on my iPod though. I have two Hilary Duff albums and as much I listen to them I can't help but to hate 95% of the songs. On Metamorphosis, the good ones are So Yesterday, Come Clean, Anywhere but Here, the title track, and of course Why Not. The second album is pure trash... Fly is the only good song and SWOM and Do You Want Me? are acceptable. Looks like my response is even longer. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 05:03, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- Lol, Dignity. I like "With Love" :) Do you like Lady Gaga? I like most of her songs, but she's too eccentric for me. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 19:40, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Hi
Hi. Hope you are fine? Are you online? Jivesh • Talk2Me 05:46, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
- Do you have "1+1" and "Best Thing I Never Had"? Actually, the composition sections of each article require a sample. Jivesh • Talk2Me 06:17, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
- I have both Jivesh. I an do them both for you now. Tell me what parts of the songs.--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 06:20, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

Sheet music
You're welcome! I kinda like adding that info... I dunno why. Have you heard that 4 leaked? D-: I'm pretty mad. Anyway, I gotta go to sleep now I have school tomorrow and then a debate (I get nervous with these things lol). See ya around! Adabow (talk · contribs) 10:18, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- I BET than "Love on Top" will be your favorite song from 4. I will not tell you why because i want you to give me the answer. Jivesh • Talk2Me 16:44, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- After you started User:Novice7/Irresistible (album) at 06:39, 5 June 2011, apparently by copy-and-pasting from Irresistible (Jessica Simpson album), while you have been editing User:Novice7/Irresistible (album), other people have been editing Irresistible (Jessica Simpson album), thus creating parallel histories. It would be useful if you could redirect User:Novice7/Irresistible (album) to Irresistible (Jessica Simpson album), and then do your editing work directly on page Irresistible (Jessica Simpson album). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 08:22, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
I think samples of "Irresistible" and "Forever In Your Eyes" would be good, as they have quite a bit of info about them. Adabow (talk · contribs) 07:08, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
RE
Mags :) I'm so sorry, I completely forgot :S I promise first thing tomorrow I'll go to the library! One more time, what is it I'm supposed to get? :D I believe you want me to get two books and scan you the Whitney pages. Correct? Sounds good, you can paste it any time you'd like! My sandboxes are your sandboxes :) Great job on Irresistible BTW! I just noticed it a few days ago, I didn't even know you were working on the parent album (I kid, I kid, I'm a stalker I knew :P). I'll hope to hammer out Charmbracelet in the next two days. You know, I've actually gotten really good at analyzing prose! I just started noticing my talent hehe ;) BTW, you'll prolly like one, maybe two songs from 4 :P Its kind of crappy :S--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 11:22, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- I bet you will love "Love on top". I will not tell you why. You will tell me why. And maybe "I Miss You" as well (It's my favorite). Jivesh • Talk2Me 11:59, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Then you'll have to wait till its official release Jivesh :P I'm waiting till the official release :) Novice7 (talk) 13:10, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Haha, its not worth waiting Mags, it really isn't. I like 1 song from it :S "I Was Here" by Diane Warren. Of course! It will be done by Friday :)--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 13:14, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- I do! :) Its from R&R in Septemberish 2002 :D--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 13:39, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Yup! Ah yes, those vocals are just crazy! I don't know how and why, but her notes on CB are so high and thin, have you heard the end of "Subtle Invitation"? Its like shes in falsetto in her normal voice, its nuts! lol--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 13:43, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- (In a drunken Nippy voice) Baby, its not Mimi you should be praying for, its Whitney lol. Did you not like MMIIY? I thought it was great following the dreadful and vocally weak Memoirs. Yes, CB is pretty good, but not radio friendly I guess. Have you heard the news BTW? Mariah is going back to her pop roots for her new album, says Nick. Hopefully she'll be bringing back that voice again and those good tunes! New song should be out before the years over!--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 13:54, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Yes indeed, you are a betrayer :P lol. Yup, Perez :) But also, DYK that she is collaborating with Nicki again? Hopefully though a much better song this time! Lol, I don't like Nippy from 1992- :( But she remains one of my favs still! So you didn't like TEOM? What about MCIIY? Also, are we able to use these?--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 14:05, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Believe me Novice, it is worth waiting. I don't care what others say. Jivesh • Talk2Me 17:37, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Ok Jivesh. Yes Nathan, I heard that too. 1992+ Nippy had a lot of "soul" in her voice... I like TEOM, but don't love it. "Mine Again", "FLAB", "SS" etc are cool, but others... MCIIY is nice too, but nothing when compared to the super awesome Merry Christmas. Novice7 (talk) 05:39, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

- Good job on "ISSTBE" :) I see Avi is going to c/e it. Should benefit greatly from it! Yes I agree, its not a comparison, you have to look at it as a successor. Damn! I hate Flickr. All MC pics are unusable :( Yeah, i don't like an excess of soul lol.--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 00:03, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
- Really!? Omg, that is awesome Mags! :) How did you even get a reply? I always comment and post and get ignored :( lol. Okay, so I will use that photo for the E=MC2 Promo section when I do the project! :). Care to upload it? I don't know how to upload a Flickr file, only my own work or samples :S. I do like soul, of course, just not an excess of it. You know, just like too much R&B can be revolting lol. IMO Whitney went too gospel and soul later on in her career. BTW, I just finished collecting sources for CB, so I should be starting now :) Lastly, this source talks about the albums title, so it should help with your "recording and development" section.--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 04:19, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
- Wonderful! Thank you for that :) Ah, yes, I never really figured Flickr out. Asking them for permission pisses me off! lol. I am gonna finish up the "Music and Lyrics" section tonight, once I get into the mindset I don't stop :) I just wanna get these studio albums out of the way, they are long and tiresome! Yes, another diva who has very much lost her voice is Dion, do you ever listen to her? Her voice is not damaged, but its very weak and older in comparison to her earlier years. Yup, those two have a lot of info! I do that too :)--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 06:34, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

- Yes very much so! Thin, nasal and weak. Now its even worse. She's got to be crazy to do another Vegas, she won't be able to speak soon! lol. Aw :) Great! I would love that! Don't worry, I know you are no Candy lol. When are you leaving BTW? Yes, I believe she is a Soprano. I'll e stopping at the library in about 6 hours, so I'll let you know very soon on the status of those magazines! :D--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 06:42, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
- Ah really!? Great :D I was sad from the news of your extended leave, you are my pretty much my best friend here :) I'm glad you are staying! I actually want to get into hyper mode and finish off her discography within the next three months lol. I like it, my writing has significantly improved from Wiki, and my computer and research skills have of course, gone through the roof! No problem Mags, you know I am always here :D--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 07:09, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
- Haha, no way! I never paid for one of those articles :) I just copy some of the text into google or the news archives, and usually a link to some fan site or another article pops up, and has the full text! :D Like 80% of the time. If not, then I dump the article and find another lol. That trick never works for me, it takes a long time and usually doesn't reveal more than another line or two :S Do you?--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 08:09, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
You got all the fansites covered :) BTW, just curious, did you upload the photo? Also, I wonder, what do you like about JS? Her music? Voice? Acting? Shoes? lol Her? Lastly, I've done "Background" (kinda took some from EOM lol), "Music and Lyrics" and now "Critical". What others am I doing? :)--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 12:03, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, many thanks :) I see. I agree, although ditzy and bozo, she seems nice, fun and down to earth. While I never liked her voice, she does have vocal talent, which sets her apart from many acts today. So we are sharing Promotion? I could take on that section wholly if you like, its easier so we don't get the same sources and mix it up lol. That would leave you with "lead", "recording and development", "Commercial", and "Singles" correct? It all sounds peachy :D Lastly, can you take a look here and remove the black two black line without altering or ruining the picture? I hate the fact that it looks like from a movie lol. Also, I went to the library and they are ordering the two magazines for me :D--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 13:06, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

- Hey I'm done with the copy-edits, the last portion seems fine. I also wanted to ask you, cna you find me some info regarding the recording or mixing of Madonna/Gaga songs? I saw the Prosound link which you gave to Ipodnano05 for the "Love Story" article, something along that line? — Legolas (talk2me) 06:27, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
Baby is a 10...
I'm so sorry to do this to you again, but do you think you could create a sample for Beyoncé's Countdown (Beyoncé Knowles song)? I've never herd the song because the album was not officially release in my country (U.S.), but would it be possible for the sample you create to contain the lyrics "My baby is a 10/We dressing to the nine/He pick me up at eight/Make me feel so lucky seven/He kiss me in his six/We be making love in five/Still the one I do this four/I’m trying to make a three/From that two/He still the one" plus whatever follows afterwards in the time allowed for the sample. Please let me know if i'm not being too specific or anything, and thank you so much for this! :] Theuhohreo (talk) 17:50, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
- Strike my last comment, i found someone else to make the sample. sorry for the confusion :] Theuhohreo (talk) 04:35, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

May i ask where you were all these days? I was so worried. Jivesh • Talk2Me 11:20, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

Hey
Thanks! :D. Yes I did go, it was last April. No i didn't take any pictures, to be honest, it wasn't very good :/. I can say I have seen Whitney Houston, but her voice was a mess. What do you mean the key shift? Are you talking about her vocals? lol, {http://www.youtube.com/user/calvin9999999999?feature=mhee I know quite a lot about music]. Calvin • 999 14:20, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
- lol really? You knew that was my account before I told you?! Hhmmm, at 3:20. All she does is belt a bit higher, while an saxophone sequence comes in, then she goes into the final chorus. Not sure if you are talking about the instrumental or her voice? Thanks for taking on the Only Girl (In the World) Peer Review by the way :) Calvin • 999 20:55, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
- Lol there isn't really a name for it, she is just belting higher. An example of when a singer changes the key in which there are singing would be Mariah's Emotions. She never sang the song live in the same key as it was in studio, she always lowered by a semitone (half note) or sometimes even lowered by a whole note. Also, in the final chorus of We Belong Together, the song has an octave jump, where she starts belting one Octave (an Octave consists of 8 notes, hence the 'Oct') above what the rest of the song is written in. Calvin • 999 10:43, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
- That's okay :). When will the Peer Review be done btw? Calvin • 999 14:12, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

Hi Novice, Im fine, everything is great how are you? Yes I have the book, the problem is that I don't have it with me, it's at my parents house, I could probably send them in a week or ten days when I go there and pick the book up. But I don't know if you need the scans ASAP. Let me know. Ohh and by the way, the book only covers from the 40s to mid-1996, so you won't see Faith Hill's album, I believe all the others are there. Grammies
I'm glad that I'm not the only one struggling to find sources. I've done this much (1986-present) on one of them... but you already have them. We really should have a list of the sources that have all the nominees at WP:GRAMMY. Adabow (talk · contribs) 09:50, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Only Girl PR
Thanks for reviewing it. I'll post questions I have here section by section
Background and composition
- So are you saying that I shouldn't mention who wrote or produced the song at all? Even though other GA articles mention who wrote and produced?
- I've looked for a description of the lyrics in Only Girl promo interviews and on websites but I can't find any.
Calvin • 999 13:41, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
Critical Reception/Awrds
- How else am I supposed to re-write "Rihanna was competing against Goldfrapp's "Rocket", La Roux's "In for the Kill", Lady Gaga's "Dance in the Dark" and Robyn's "Dancing on My Own"." ?
- What do you mean by: "Also, archive the MuchMusic link as it may rot soon." I don't know what rotting means in Wikipedia language lol.
- Also, Rihanna did win one out of two nominations at the MTV VMA Japan, but no one seems to have officially reported it. It's listed on her awards and nominations page, but there are no sources.

The checklink says ref #85 is wrong, but I can't work out what is wrong with it, because the link does work. The website provided on the dead link checker is actually ref #125, i don't get what is going on lol. Calvin • 999 17:38, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
- Okay thanks. Once you have can you close the review so i can GA nom. please? Calvin • 999 11:16, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
- The problem link is not in the year end section, it's in the charts table section. German Media chart one. But i don't know what to do with it, because the link works, it's not dead. Calvin • 999 11:27, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
- So ref #82 isn't showing up as dead for you? Okay thanks, how come all the date refs have to be e.g. "7 September 2010" instead of "2010-09-07", I didn't think it mattered? Calvin • 999 11:37, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
- thanks. can it be closed now? Calvin • 999 11:56, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

Grammy Awards Task Force Update
I'd like to offer an update of the Grammy Awards task force. The task force was established 3 months ago with 26 featured lists and 8 good articles. Since then, the project has increased the number of featured lists to 39 and good articles to 10, a major accomplishment for a small task force in such a short period of time! There are currently 2 Grammy-related lists at FLC (Latin Grammy Award for Song of the Year and Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance), so be sure to offer feedback/comments if possible. Also, a Sources page has been set up to provide reliable sources for future use--this tool will be very helpful for finding references quickly. Keep up the great work, task force members! ··· Another Believer (Talk) 15:45, 7 July 2011 (UTC) |

Always on repeat: "1+1", "I Miss You", "Best Thing I Never Had", "Party" (before Andre's rap, love him as a rapper, but not on the song), "Countdown", "End of Time". I love the whole album, though... Irresistible
So, you're stalking my talk page edits now? :P You must be Obsessed (lol forgive me, I just saw it the other day and love it even if the critics hounded it). I bet if I waited for him to do his half on Mimi, I'd still be waiting lol. I thought you didn't like post-2005 Mimi? "Mine Again" is good! Yes, I'm going to finish "DFAU" and "Get Your Number", then finish Candy's half-ass job on "Shake It Off", and re-do "We Belong Together" (really deserves a better page) and pressure Avi for "It's Like That" lol. Questionnnn
How do you nominate an article for A status? I can't find out where to do it. Calvin • 999 22:46, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
- Not every WikiProject supports A-class/A-status. The Song & Album WikiProjects don't but Military History WikiProject does. Which article do you want to nominate? As I said, if it's a song article, you can't since WP:SONGS doesn't support A-class. You can go upto GA and then FA :( Novice7 (talk) 03:34, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- There are thee A class articles on the Wikiproject Songs, but two are video game theme tunes and the other is a national anthem or something, look here. But there aren't any proper songs, (what I mean is, what I would define as a song, like by a recording artist) which are an A class. I wanted to nominate S&M, so that people could use that as a guide to what an A class song article would look like. Calvin • 999 12:19, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Video games & Games WikiProject have A-class assessment section. So, when the article was submitted for A-class assessment and passed, the Songs banner might have inherited the A-class. R&B Soul WP, Songs WP, Albums WP, Country WP, infact most Music WP do not support A-class assessments. As for "S&M", it has passed GAN, so next stop is FAC :D Unfortunately, no A-class :( When I first started out, I also thought of nominating one of the articles for A-class assessment, but then learned that it is not supported. Novice7 (talk) 14:33, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- So how come those 2 video game music articles have been rated A class from the Wikiproject Songs? Okay, I will do FA instead. Thanks. Calvin • 999 14:41, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- What I said above: The WP:SONGS banner might have inherited the A-class from the Video Game WP Banner. It can be a very long process. Good luck with the FA. Novice7 (talk) 14:45, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Ohh okay. I don't want to wait for FAC, and I know you didn't do the peer review for S&M, but could you close it by any chance? Calvin • 999 14:48, 21 July 2011 (UTC) Don't worry I've done it lol. Calvin • 999 15:22, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
