[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ferhat Mehenni. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. M.Bitton (talk) 15:39, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for edit warring.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Acroterion (talk) 15:52, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Normally I'd make it a 48 hour block for first-time edit-warring, but your first and third edit summaries, and your apparent intentions via your usename, cause me to think that you're here to antagonize other editors. You'll need to convince me I'm wrong for you to be unblocked, or the term shortened. Acroterion (talk) 15:54, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My answer for Acroterion

[edit]

Well since I can’t write a topic on your page and that I know that my edits will be reverted soon I write you a message here @Acroterion:. My nickname has nothing to do with the edits I made, I choose it 10 years ago and I still use it and that’s it. As you have seen it, I tried my best to correct the serious mistakes that was made on the “Ferhat Mehenni” English article, because not only does it not respect the Wikipedia methodology, but also it has big neutrality issues. The author(s) wrote in the very first paragraph before we even get to know who he is that he is “accused of terrorism by the Algerian authorities” (government well known for its democracy, and which of course makes 0 propaganda and has no corruption). not to mention he mentions his "controversy of his support for israel" at the beginning of the article as well.

These problems are in no way present in the French version of the article, which has managed to remain perfectly neutral and describe as it should be in an encyclopedia like Wikipedia. It seems perfectly obvious to me that the authors of this article in English are deliberately making propaganda to demonize this personality and that I had at least to add some clarification and precise that the accusations are based on 0 proof and that the Algerian government is trying by all means to discredit and demonize their opponents. I hope you will take notice if this is not already the case and that you will do justice as soon as possible. Ryanwarriorzz (talk) 20:57, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You forgot to mention that you were blocked indef on the French wikipedia (for a reason). M.Bitton (talk) 22:19, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
