DYK Nomination Reviewed

[edit]

Hello, just wanted to give you a heads-up that your DYK nomination at Template:Did you know nominations/Xochiquetzallia has been reviewed. There were just a few really minor fixes to take care of before it is ready for DYK, whenever you're available to check in on those is perfect. Let me know if you've got any questions! DYK for Xochiquetzallia

[edit]

On 25 February 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Xochiquetzallia, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the genus Xochiquetzallia was named after the Aztec goddess of flowers? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Xochiquetzallia. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Xochiquetzallia), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Garvellachs geology

[edit]

Hi Rupert, I've rewritten the geology section that you added to the Garvellachs article. I hope that by adding more detail I haven't made it too technical. I kept some of your text, but mostly I started from scratch. MacDui asked me to look it over and I thought that it would benefit with more information about the geology generally before getting into the zircons. Anyway, thanks for starting on it and I hope that I haven't offended you by the extent of the rewrite. Cheers, Mikenorton (talk) 21:21, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Mikenorton. Thanks for rewriting that section; it looks fine. I wonder if you want to more specifically note whether "the study" and "the research" in paragraphs 3 and 4 refer to the most recent article? Rupert Clayton (talk) 22:51, 6 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You're quite right that it wasn't that clear. I've amended the text accordingly, thanks. Mikenorton (talk) 12:14, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
