User talk:Ruijis
I have some research experience with gbXML, so I've made several contributions to BIM and gbXML recently, but MrOllie has reverted my edit again and again. I have checked my reference format, interest conflict, etc. If you could help with this, I would appreciate that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ruijis (talk • contribs)
- You say you have checked your 'interest conflict', but you keep inserting citations to yourself. - MrOllie (talk) 12:44, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
I didn't cite myself, could you tell me which one you are talking about?
- You appear to be spamming gbXMLorg - you need independent sources to establish notability and suitability for inclusion. Acroterion (talk) 04:16, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
- gbxml.org is a nonprofit organization. It is the only office website for gbXML schema update. It's an independent resource. Ruijis (talk) 21:38, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
Got it. Thanks for clarifying that. I will add some papers from the research field. By the way, what do you actually mean for independence? I found that lots of sources under BIM, gbXML, or other Wikipedia pages are commercial companies' websites, though gbXML is not like that. But I agree with you that I cite too much from gbXML org. Thanks much.
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Ruijis. - avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Acroterion (talk) 04:14, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
