DYK favor
I have two DYK self noms that seem to have stalled in the review process. Would you mind taking a look: Snark sailboat and If You Build It (film). I'd appreciate any insight or assistance you can offer in moving the noms forward. Thanks. 842U (talk) 12:39, 2 July 2014 (UTC)

Message
Thanks for the welcome message. But why were the 2 edits reverted here [1]? 1st edit fixed the error "Missing or empty |title=" which showed up again after it was reverted here [2]. 2nd edit updated with exact information as far as votes were concerned (along with valid reference). They actually don't set precedence for new contributors who are welcomed with "we hope you'll stay and add content to India related articles"(& probably just a mere formality)TRUTH can't be HIDDEN (talk) 09:27, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- I accidentally reverted both edits together. I undid the edit mainly because you used a newspaper source for the number of votes. Please use only the ECI website if you are quoting the exact number. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 17:01, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- Well looks like you didn't read the edits carefully, once again. Regarding first edit, i merely added "title" to the reference as it showed "missing title" flag [3] (as i already informed you). I did NOT add any reference LINK as a whole. Regarding second edit, exact votes were taken from ECI website link and not some news website. ECI web link was already referenced before my edit but no. of votes were very rounded off. Anyway, are you going to undo your revert or there is still something more to it? I had thought wiki is more matter than talk.sigh TRUTH can't be HIDDEN (talk) 21:07, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- You can undo the edit yourself. Please don't think Wiki is about 'action' and no 'talk'. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 10:58, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for July 8
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mula River (India), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Aundh. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

No sir, it is not necessary for anyone to read Shiv Purana but you just reverted what I have edited about Lord Shiva and the given info is wrong, but this fact has been given on all websites, that's why I was asking you that have you ever read Shiva Purana because if you had you should know that the info you just reverted again about Lord Shiva is wrong and I can give you many evidences that internet tells all wrong about Hindu deities, I had just edited it because to give a proper fact and nothing else sir.06:29, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

But why? I find it very logical.
You big bold letters are nothing but trolling.
Sorry - no offense meant, but you seem not to see the title of the article. I wanted to emphasize something obvious and make it even more visible. It is still better than your revert without any explanation.
85.193.242.154 (talk) 15:27, 11 July 2014 (UTC)

Aggresive reverts
I have reviewed the last few days of your Contributions and have concluded that you are misusing Wikipedia:STiki. You have classified constructive edits as non-constructive and good-faith edits as vandalism.
Please Stop! Wikipedia is not a contest to see who can generate the most edits or accumulate the most Barnstars. Actions that discourage edits will result in more long-term damage than vandalism ever will.Larstaate (talk) 18:51, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- I AM MOST CERTAINLY not in a contest to accumulate barnstars and the likes. Your edit was undone because it was a link to an article that does not exist. Hence I removed it. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 18:53, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
Still up to your old tricks, I see. Please review the editorial guidelines on WP:Red links before you do even more damage.Larstaate (talk) 06:56, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
- up to my old tricks? What the hell? Am I some sort of convicted criminal here? Look man, we all edit here to make this place better. You want to know why I removed your link? Here: You added j2ee Standard Tools Project, something that does not exist. Further, you linked to Eclipse (software)#Web_Tools_Platform where there is no mention of it. Why should it be linked if it does not exist? It merely confuses the reader. --Rsrikanth05 (talk)
- Oh, and perhaps you should have read the page before quoting it to me:
Use of red links on disambiguation pages should be limited. The whole point of a disambiguation page is to direct the reader to an existing article for the page's topic, so a red link does not help. There are some cases, however, where this is acceptable. Only add the red link if there clearly should be a corresponding article AND there is an existing article to link to (e.g., a blue link) elsewhere on the page.
Exactly why I undid your edit. Now stop accusing me of 'old tricks', damage, and all the other stuff that I don't do. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 20:53, 13 July 2014 (UTC)

The fact was ... that the bus services in Surat are operated by private partners for the Surat Municipal Corporation under a public–private partnership? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Surat City Bus. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Irish American Edit
That was not a test. Those edits I made were in fact very accurate and it would be great if those that change my edits would ACTUALLY DO SOME RESEARCH, they would find out my edits have factual basis. Thank you and good day. User: USA23 — Preceding unsigned comment added by USA23 (talk • contribs) 19:29, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
- Given that all your edits to the page have been undone and you continue to persist WITHOUT any discussion on the talk page, it seems more like you're replacing pictures of women with men and names of people you like. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 19:43, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
What does gender have to do with anything? This is an irish American page. Do some research I advise you. The fact that you are bringing gender into this makes me question your fitness to edit the irish American page. I don't know how to get on the talk page. User: USA23 — Preceding unsigned comment added by USA23 (talk • contribs) 19:56, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
- My fitness to edit? Seriously? You don't need to have special abilities to edit you know? The talk page is Talk:Irish American. It's the BIG TALK BUTTON on top of the page next to READ. If you can't find a Talk Page, you have no right to accuse another user of their 'fitness to edit'. Oh, and also, please sign your posts with ~~~~. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 20:02, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
Also, 2/3 edits I made were men, so saying I replace women with men is invalid. I'm new to Wikipedia, and I'm very proud of my irish heritage. Jimi Hendrix was a musical genius, Billy the Kid is an American legend, and Muhammad Ali is the greatest boxer to ever live. All those three individuals have irish blood running in their veins. User: USA23 (talk)USA23USA23 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 20:11, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
- And that is no reason to replace names with any other ones. Wikipedia runs on consensus, not individual thoughts. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 20:14, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
But it's not individual thoughts. That is factual information and those people contributed to American culture and are icons to these United States! I'm very proud to say and show that they are fellow Irish Americans. What else do I have to prove? User: USA23 (talk)USA23USA23 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 20:22, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
- You don't need to prove anything. You don't need to be Irish to edit a page on Irish people. All I'm saying is gain consensus on the talk page before making such major changes. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 20:27, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
Hi. You may wish to get up to speed on the special cases for school articles before casting a vote on them at AfD. See WP:OUTCOMES. Do bear in mind that many such nominations also come from editors with even less experience and knowledge of guidelines and policies, which may lead to a wrong consensus, but one which the closer has to accept. Such closures than often entrain additional bureaucracy to get them reverted. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 09:18, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up. I'll have a look and make a note. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 17:27, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

Why??. The 5th Doctor (talk) 19:16, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
- The edit was dubious, and more importantly, unsourced. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 19:20, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
- Wrong about dubious, wrong about unsourced. It was plainly an introduction to the passage which lay ahead of it. If you read the entire paragraph, which I add is sourced, you'll see my addition was an appropriate opener. Basically, the origin of the word in unknown but it is highly likely to derive from one of two sources and both happen to be Arabic for reasons listed in the article and Italy's history. The 5th Doctor (talk) 20:56, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
- Your addition was not required. As you explained, it is already explained below. Besides, it makes no sense grammatically. P.S: Are you reverting it because you 'think' I'm a female editor? Which I'm not by the way? --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 17:26, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
- No I reverted because you are wrong. If you find the comment ungrammatical then I suggest you ask someone to help you because it is perfectly well structured. Either way, if grammar is the problem you can correct it, not remove it. The 5th Doctor (talk) 18:02, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
- Again, my grammar is fine. Your grammar in the statement added is incorrect. As I stated there, it is out of context. It is not needed. As for well structured, it is not. How the hell is The word most likely derived from Arabic. correct grammar? Even a 2nd standard student would be able to point out the flaws. Whatever, I don't care. I'm not crossing 3RR because you think I'm wrong. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 18:11, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

New huggle 3.1 is going to be released soon
Hi Rsrikanth05, we are to release a new major version of huggle, but we did receive almost no feedback from our beta testing team, which you are a part of (see https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Huggle/Members). It would be of a great help if you could download it (if you have windows, all you need to do is getting http://tools.wmflabs.org/huggle/files/huggle3.1.0beta.exe and putting it to a folder where you have installed huggle) and test it. You can always get a help with making it @ #huggle connect!
Major changes:
- Multisite support - you can now log in to unlimited number of wikis in 1 huggle session and get a huge queue of all edits made to these wikis. This is good for smaller projects which gets overlooked often.
- Ranged diffs - you can select multiple revisions and get a huge diff that display all changes done to them.
- Fixes of most of bug reports we had so far
In case you found a bug, please report it to bugzilla: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/buglist.cgi?product=Huggle&list_id=147663 thank you! Petrb (talk) 10:19, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
