Twinkle
Thanks, I have been at the end of these twinkle generated signs and am of the opinion that their ease of use is partly responsible for the hostile atmosphere in en:WP. So for serious cases, I prefer the good old typed warning myself. But thanks for the well-intentioned advice. Much appreciated. AshLin (talk) 16:22, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

Archiving your talk...
Hi! I noticed that you have a lot of content on this page!
You can use a 'bot to automatically archive older content, and make this page smaller!
I use MiszaBot to archive mine, with a thread being archived if there has been no action in the thread in the previous 7 days.
If you are interested, see User:MiszaBot/Archive HowTo - let me know if you have any problems!
Regards, PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 10:27, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
- Sorted out per your request! MiszaBot should start archiving in the next day or so (but it may take a bit longer) - most of this page will be put in the archive page then! After that, after a thread has had no activity in 7 days, it will be archived by the 'bot. Regards, PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 10:55, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
- I have updated the links to old archives, and started adding signatures to unsigned entries (so they will be archived next time) - just do that for the rest (it's all in the page's history!). The Index is run separately from the archiving, so that will be created within a few days PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 16:25, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Template:INR
I reverted the change based on your feedback. For reference, can you tell me which operating system you are using, and which version?
- The old version of Template:INR used an image for the rupee symbol: ()
- The new version used the Unicode text character U+20B9: (₹)
The Unicode text character position U+20B9 was selected as an international standard in August 2010 and formalized as part of Unicode 6.0 in October 2010.
Images have drawbacks (for instance, search doesn't work, you can't cut and paste, etc), so it's preferable to switch to the text character eventually. I might try this change again in a year or so, after more people have updated their operating systems. -- P.T. Aufrette (talk) 19:45, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
