If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Roseveitch/sandbox/Youth Hub Hull, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Megan B.... Speedy deletion nomination of Youth Hub Hull

[edit]

Hello Roseveitch,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Youth Hub Hull for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for advertising or promotion.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 18:43, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, the block is no longer necessary because I understand what I am being blocked for, I will not do it again, and I will make productive contributions. I really am trying to write properly and I am seeking further guidance to help me do this. Kind regards, Rose. Roseveitch (talk) 16:16, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You won't be unblocked to further edit about your organization in the short term. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road. If you are interested in being a general contributor and editing about topics unrelated to your conflict of interest, please tell what those might be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 18:53, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

hello, thank you for getting back in touch. You have made an assumption that isn't true and have disregarded my reason quite unfairly. I am beginner to this site and I am trying my best to make positive contributions to the site. I think the unblock should be considered as it is reasonable. I understand that what I tried to contribute for this site isn't suitable, and I can confirm that I won't do it again. Could you please unblock my account. I will only read what is on Wikipedia to understand it better and won't contribute for a period of time. I have learned from it and feel as though I have addressed the issue. I appreciate your feedback to guide me. I am not editing maliciously and would like to be a general contributor and edit topics unrelated to my conflict of interest in the near future. Thank you. kind regards, Rose. Roseveitch (talk) 08:38, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:31, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What topics and pages do you intend to edit if unblocked? SQLQuery Me! 08:47, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I would edit pages that I am passionate about in my region, such as businesses that I wouldn't have a conflict of interest in. I also like theatre and music. I would like to make edits when necessary in the near future as my confidence grows with this site. Kind regards, Rose.
Only one open request is needed at a time; subsequent comment should be standard, unformatted comments like this. 331dot (talk) 09:33, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I am not creating multiple unblock requests on purpose. I am trying to reply to the thread. You are very rude and I can see that you have no intention of helping me. Please don't contact me any further as you are very unpleasant. I will be contacting someone else to deal with this issue. Kind regards, Rose.
Forbidding the admin who blocked you and could remove the block from communicating with you does not seem to be a wise strategy. 331dot (talk) 08:14, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Rose! So you've had a bit of a rocky start here. Creating articles is not a good project for very new editors, as it can pretty quickly get you in trouble if you don't understand how we do things. I am willing to discuss unblocking so that you can learn to edit, but I do have to say that when multiple experienced editors are trying to help you, rather than assuming you understand everything that's going on, assume you don't. For instance, above, Bbb23 was asking you not to create multiple unblock tickets, as those cause extra work for other editors. He maybe could have been a little more patient with someone so new to Wikipedia that they don't yet know how to sign their posts, but what he was telling you was simply that if you didn't stop doing something disruptive on your talk page, he would revoke your access.
If you're unblocked, what I would recommend is that you do the tutorial at WP:Wikipedia Adventure and go do something besides trying to create an article from scratch. Fix typos, add sources, etc. There's plenty to do. If you are interested in the area around Hull, the article Kingston upon Hull needs attention. Is that something you'd be interested in doing to help you learn to edit?
To sign your posts, type four tildes (like this: ~~~~), which appends your username and a timestamp. It also makes your username and talk page clickable to make it easy for people to leave messages for you. —valereee (talk) 15:38, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
