Your signature

Hi - we give users a fair amount of latitude on how their signatures appear, and as you can see I have a non-standard one myself. However, I think yours has gone too far. This is for several reasons - first is the sheer size of the block of text you are adding to talk pages, it makes it difficult for others to edit after you; the size of the stuff around the text means that text on the lines above and below doesn't display normally; I'm pretty sure it's not compliant with MOS:CONTRAST; and frankly, it doesn't look like a signature. Frankly, I think that if you keep putting that in places like AIV, someone could make a convincing argument that it is disruptive. So, please: change it now to something less imposing. Just echoing what Girth Summit said above. Your entries at noticeboards like WP:AIV are causing page breaks and it is quite confusing to see a part of your signature on a completely different line than the rest of your signature. Yes - that signature, please change it. I'd strongly suggest you get rid of the borders, the png file and the background colours. I just saw how it renders on a mobile device, it's even worse there. It's fine to have non-default font and colours (although the colours should still comply with the contrast guidelines I linked to earlier for reasons of accessibility), but what you are doing is going way to far. • Hi again. You made it worse. You need to lose the mirror image, that's in direct contravention of WP:CUSTOMSIG/P (quote: Do not use images, transcluded templates, or external links in your signature), and I'd urge you to lose the background colour, the padding etc. I've seen users get blocked for stuff like that, I don't want that to happen to you since, from a quick check, you seem to be doing good work patrolling with Twinkle. I'm sorry. I truly am not trying to be disruptive. I thought from RacoonyRE's last comment that I just needed to add a reason for my edit (which I did this time). The entries I removed are listed under both "Selected Works" and "As Claire O'Dell". The author re-released the works under her pen name and has moved entirely to publishing under that pen name.
